Thanks, Beth. For some reason it worked for me today. I was shocked.

I love yogurt and used to eat it every day. I should have bought carb controlled yogurt, but I have read the threads about the yogurt exception. Maybe I'll try it for a few days. It was good.

Where do you get Carb Options PB? I've look around here and haven't been able to find any. I had the old fashioned PB that has no sugar but the oil sits on top. I have some, but just don't use it.

Sue, the new pic WW ... amazing ..... you look younger and there is so much less of you. I need this tonight, very inspirational and uplifting. I have been reading the yogurt exception. I have issues with it, but can't put my finger on it, so I just go with carb control. Then I found the Kroger carb smart -- same carbs larger portion Vanilla is the bomb I am so blown away by your pic.

Thanks for the nice comments on my new pic. You are all so sweet.

It is hard to post pics because I don't like what I see in the mirror a lot of the time, but it is getting better. I have lost weight in my face and can see that.

No gain after eating too much yesterday. I chugged the water and just ate chicken last night. Feeling good and strong this morning.

Today is the day I start painting the living room. I have a goal to get it done by the end of the month, so I need to start today. So much prep work to do. Then, next month I re-wallpaper the kitchen. That will be a huge job.

Boy, this coffee tastes good this morning.

Sue: As everyone else has said.... wow... you look amazing in your new avatar! I saw the new pic of you over in my journal and had to rush over here to just say "wow." You look beautiful! And the progress you have made definitely shows!

p.s. I'm with the others as well on the yogurt. I only have about a 1/2 cup at a time (I have both the greek which is only 9 carbs per cup and the Dannon All Natural which is 12 carbs per cup). 1/2 a cup at a time (or even a cup) is really not that much and I think it's good for our bodies. Don't beat yourself up about the peanuts or peanut butter either... there are much worse choices... and you can always join me over at the peanut and peanut butter addicts support group that I started . I had a handful of peanuts myself yesterday

See I told you that you didn't do bad yesterday! You look really thin in your new picture! You should be very proud of yourself!

Painting is a tough job! Just think...you will be trimming those arms and that waist today!

Hi Yolande. Yes, the mirror is a good indicator. How are ya?

Good morning Candy.

I had yogurt yesterday also, and it is helping with bathroom issues! I'm not going to worry about the carb count, just enjoy it and see what happens in the next week.

Think I'll make some yocheese this weekend. That way I can control better what is in the yogurt. Right now I'm just using yogurt that has been sitting in the fridge for a while.

Off to shower and paint..........uggg.

My journal, yours, anywhere and anytime you need help stepping away from the PB... just ask ... remember... you were the one who got me to throw out my jar of PB. It made me at the time but I've been grateful ever since

Have fun painting! We need to do that ourselves this year, the walls are starting to look a little dingy, plus I think it's time for some new colors... only problem is it took me forever to pick out what we now have on the walls (there were so many swatches of color on the walls that it looked ike we were painting a modern art piece ).

I have heard a little about the yo-cheese. Care to elaborate ? What does it taste like ? Exactly how do you make it ? No hurry. I won't be around tomorrow. I will check in on you Sunday.

I feel awful this morning. Is the the yogurt (too much) peanuts, getting up and down the ladder yesterday and the day before, or what?

I did some long and hard thinking about my eating yesterday and decided I have added too much in too soon. I'm going back to week 1 of A72 and stay there for a while before I add more than veggies.

Not losing on the scale is starting to concern me, and the way I feel this morning, I know that I have to get back to the basics. Yesterday was a wake-up call for me.

Candy~yocheese is yogurt that has had the whey drained from it. Some places like Trader Joes sell it and it's called Greek Yogurt. I get a large tub of full fat plain yogurt, put it in a strainer that has a paper towel in it, put a bowl underneath and leave in the fridge for 12-24 hours. For me the longer the better. It drains to about half its original volume, and is very thick. I have a Brittish friend who is in her 60s that said that this is how her Mom would make cream cheese. They would put it on toast or english muffins, etc... It still has a bit of a sour flavor, so I season it with splenda or even packages of SF jello powder. It is wonderful with lime jello powder. You can also add fruit to it. I've added blueberries and splenda and it is a very wonderful dessert.

I'm not sure what the carb count is because whey has a lot of the carbs in yogurt.

Came by to say hello and use the new cool smilie that's now available

Sue: Whatever you find that works for you and you're comfortable with ... but have you also considered upping the amount you eat to see what happens... not nuts and yogurt, but just more food overall? I know a little scary but for some that kicks things into gear as well. Just a thought.

Hillary~I have been eating more and as I look over my food journal today I am finding that I lost when carbs were 12-14 a day, total. Since I started upping my carbs, I have not lost on the scale at all. I am going back to 12-15 a day to see what happens. Hope it works.

In the last month my carbs have been anywhere from 20-30, sometimes up to 40 if I had an Atkins Bar. I have been trying to stay away from processed foods, but cave at times. But, most of my carbs are coming from veggies, cream and cheese (not too much of cream or cheese).

Sue,
I have to do something too.
I have stopped losing. I am not gaining, that is good, but I am having too much fun with my food lately. This is nice to know that what I am eating right now is good for the long run but I have to make myself a little miserable now and start back on 72.

Sue, I hope you can find a number that works for you. You are losing inches, right ?

Maybe it's straight up just peanuts. I can't eat nuts at all (not that I don't) or I stall or even gain.

I would try removing an item at a time.

The yo cheese does sound yummy, and I have always wondered what the consistency would be like. I eat the carb master yougurt from Kroger. When I was there, I looked for full fat yogurt, everything I saw was low fat or no fat. I have looked at Walmart too. Then how do you find no sugar full fat ? Everytime I read posts regarding the yogurt exception I look for this. No luck, so I just stick with my Kroger carb master.

Hope your weekend is going well.

Candy~I've found the plain full fat yogurt in a big tub at Walmart. I think it's Dannon? I can't find it anywhere else.

I wish someone would make a full fat sugar free yogurt. Could that be so hard???

Yolande~I'm very frustrated. I ate 12 carbs yesterday, and was up .5 pounds. It must have been from the day before. I also drank over 100 oz yesterday. Don't get it. Like you, I know I can maintain on a lot of good food, but right now I want to lose!

Thanks Sue, I will look again. Do you think this is better than the LC yogurts ? That's the part I can't figure out.

Candy~I wish I knew. Not sure about the yogurt exception, but I know that some can add it, come can't. I know that the LC yogurt I bought that DD is now eating, has 3-4 carbs per serving, and I can't figure out what they do to lower the carbs. Guess I should do some research.

Good morning Sue! I hope you had a good weekend. I know that soon you will be able to figure out this yogurt thing. I am glad someone finally explained this yocheese to me. I have been really confused about the yocheese and the greek yogurt. I will have to make some. I hope this week the scales will be kind to you. When did you start weighing again? How are your measurement going? It's going to get better. You can do this...you are a pro. Keep focusing on being healthy instead of the numbers. Your body will soon get in line. Remember...you want to do this for life. Start posting some more menus....maybe we can help see what is going on. Chin up! I am very proud of you for sticking it out even when the scales don't move. That is determination! And it shows that you are a strong woman!

I don't think so because I have some yogurt that has splenda that has 13 carbs, then some that has splenda with 4 carbs. I wonder if they drain out some of the whey???

I'm just going to skip the yogurt for now. The LC yogurt I found is so wonderful, but letting DD eat it. Yocheese is fun and delicious.

I started weighing when I was eating too many carbs to see how I did with it. I really didn't gain because the scale was already up, so I know I can eat a lot of carbs without gaining. It's the losing that is a little frustrating right now, but I know it will happen. I read of so many people that went through month long stalls and came through to start losing again.

It is a lifetime plan for me, so I keep repeating to myself that it doesn't matter how long it takes.
