One Day At A Time

Hi, there:

My name's Nicole and I've been back on the LC wagon for a month now. I've gone off and on for the past 4 years, losing as much as 47 lbs before veering off course.

I look at it as taking the "scenic route" on this journey

I've been a member of another forum for 4 1/2 years but for some reason I can't access it from home anymore so I started looking for another support forum and here I am

I'm 35, married, have 3 sons (17 1/2, 16 and 9) and work full time (in a hospital) as well as do some volunteer work.

Well, that's all I have to say for now! I'm planning to document my menus and my emotional rollercoasters....

Thanks to anybody taking the time to read this

Yesterday I ate terribly, mostly because I was so busy running around doing errands.

Coffee (with sf davinci syrup, a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa, cream)

2 McD's double cheeseburgers - no bun, no cheese, no ketchup

3 strips bacon, 2 scrambled eggs

few almonds, diet Coke

See - horrible!!! No veggies at all....

I made a crockpot full of beef vegetable soup so I know I'll have that for the next few days along with the masses of veggies I bought yesterday. I put in the stew: zucchini, onion, garlic, red and green peppers, cabbage, celery and beef cubes with seasoning. Had that "brewing" all night and the house smells great!

Also, I stewed some beef cubes with vinegar, oil, soy sauce and a bit of Splenda so I'll have those chunks to go into my salad with organic mixed greens and a few olives, with garlic dressing.

Concentrating on getting in enough water as I've been super-busy at work as well. I did drink quite a bit while I was running errands yesterday
