Intuitve Eating - A Program That Works - Evelyn Tribole & Elyse Resch
ISBN 0-312-32123-6

Intuitive eating is to end diets (and a diet mentality) forever. You listen to your body and eat when it wants food, and stop when it's comfy full. Your body returns to the natural weight that fits you.

I am currently working on eating when I'm hungry and stopping when I'm full, but not stuffed. I can't remember the last time I felt hunger. Even If I'm not hungry, I should eat at least every 5 hours.

I am also working on eating ANY food I want, retraining myself to know there are no good or bad foods. I'm suppose to eat foods that are considered "off limits, or "bad" along with healthier foods. No food is off limits. Therefore it's impossible to cheat or fail.

I also am not supossed to weigh, count calories, fat, carbs, ect. Just eat. It's kinda scary, but I can do it!

12:00PM Alfredo/shrimp linguini - not hungry, but wanted to eat. Read while I ate.

5:00pm - a little hungry. Had one choco-chip cookie as to not get too hungry before dinner. (I would have normally popped 3-4)

5:45pm - Battered fish and fries. I REALLY wanted this and is was heavenly. The fish was better than the fries. I ate slow and really paid attention to my food. I didn't finish my fries. I stopped eating at about a 7-8, which was good for a first time.

I don't feel sick from eating today! Nights are always the worst as I binge from dinner time until bedtime. I feel comfy satisfied right now. and it's been an hour since I ate.

I may make a chocolate cake tonight.

Stuck to my menu again, except ricotta for desert and green beans instead of broccoli. It was a littl hard to stay out of candy today as I forgot my nuts and cheese, but I had coffee instead and it got me through!
