*~No More Procrastination~* cheryllynns journal

Hello everyone!! Just a bit of info about myself..... I am a 38 yo mom of 3, married 14 years. Disgusted with my lack of self control and ready to try atkins again.
I have been failing on different plans and am ready to staple my mouth shut or run for the hills if I can't get it right. I have real addiction to sugar and crunchy things that are high in carbs. My plan is do start induction today and hopefully I can stick to it. I did a modified low carb diet a few years ago and did well on it and looked really pretty good, but apparently I have a lot less control of myself now and I am also older to boot.

I am going to log in here each day with a full report of what i've eaten and what exercises i've done.
I plan on getting some cardio each day and include some weight training later on when i feel ready.
I remember feeling rather lethargic after a couple days on atkins, which I know will stop, I just hope I can hang on thru it.

Now some may criticize my desire to lose weight, but trust me I am overweight. And if you don't believe it , i'll post the pics to prove it.
Currently I am 110.5 lbs and barely 5 ft tall. I am not a muscular person and I am small boned. I am sure there are people out there that are the same weight and height as me and may look fantastic, but bodies differ so much and like i said, i am not muscular.

If anyone sees something i'm eating and shouldn't be please let me know. Now having said that, i am not planning on giving up caffeine, so don't bother telling me about that. I don't plan on suffering thru headaches!!

Breakfast: 2 eggs scram. 2 lite eckrich smokies, whey protein shake (no sugar) made with water and ice cubes and 1 tsp s/f choc pudding mix and 1/4 tsp instant coffee.

I walked 2 miles on treadmill this am b4 breakfast.

Lunch was tuff today, my salad mix was nasty so i threw it out and will need to go low carb shopping asap. So i had 2 hotdogs with mustard , no bread obviously.
Dinner was 4-5 chicken tenders (boneless skinless) I fried these in oil in a skillet after dipping them in egg and parm. and about a cup of green beans.
Tonight my legs feel a little achey, I ALWAYS feel that way when i cut my carbs down. Will be sooooo glad when it passes, it's tuff to feel that way and keep up with a busy lifestyle.

Usually before bed while on the computer is my time I struggle with wanting goodies.
Tonight I made some apple-cinnamon tea and had some water.
I feel good about how I did today , I do feel like I should've eaten more, but just don't have some of the things i need and i am always so unsure of what to eat, i'll just stand there at the frig and am like !!
G'nite

I've been bad not getting on here and logging my food, but I have not strayed at all and am still going strong.
I am sure I'm in ketosis at least since yesterday, i have the unusual taste in my mouth that i remember.
I have passed up 3 of my favorite things in the last couple days and i'm so proud of myself! I didn't think i could do it!!!!!!

well, sunday was a bad day 4 me. We went to the movies and i succumbed to the draw of the popcorn. I was sorta hungry and the smell overwhelmed me. anyway i ate a kid sized portion and the fun size twix that came with it. well as i always do i felt the need to "go ahead" and ease my other cravings so when i came home i had a few cheese nips couple doritos, 1/2 c. ravioli and 10 or more choc covered almonds , i know i know. But in my defense i got right back on this morning. no exercise, had to take my son to an appt so no time, but i havent cheated today! I keep telling myself "Each day i fail is another day my desired results are pushed back!!!" and summer will be here b4 i know it and i'm sick of looking fat in the summer !!

m1: protein shake
suisse mocha coffee, artificially sweetened.
snack; 2 homeade chicken tenders

weight is up 1 lb this morn. and i feel fluffier around the tummy (didn't think that was possible) I don't think it's the little bit of crackers and grapes from yesterday though. I'm betting it's my little bacon binge from the other night. I guess i better chill out on the bacon. Probably too much fat and too much sodium in one sitting. I did have a bad headache the next day, probably tied to that also.

m1: whey shake w/ 1 oz cream cheese
4 cheddar cheese cubes
