hello all and top of the morning to you...this is going to be a great day...hehhehehe i just talked to my sister on the phone she lives about 3 hours away and were both on low carb .....she has lost 6 pounds and i have lost 12 .....its kinda nice to be the biggest looser for once...my sister has always been the pretty skinny one...not that im jealous or anything ...god gave me the heart ...i love her just the same....to all of you i hope you are all doing great out there in non-carby land...hope you all have a great day and ...remember smile god loves ya ...
p.s. i will be back later with teh menu for today ....

good morning all....i was going to get on here last night and place my menu for yesterday but my step daughter that lives with me, decided she wanted to go live with her mom ....because she was caught stealing from me . ..everytime something goes wrong she wants to live with her mom....and boy o boy what a mess that would be...her mom is a real charm...she is back home now....she found out her mom doesnt have time for her ...just breaks my heart ...anyway enough on that noote ....i have now dropped 12 pounds im sooooooo excited ....my son ryan ...the one that is doing this with me ...he has lost from 212 to 197.....he weighed himself and came out in the living room jumping up and down ....saying woooohoooo....

L- turkey and bacon and small salad with vinager and oil dressing
D- hamburger made on the old george foreman and small salad ...
not the greatest but it works...

ok its been a couple of days ...i have been a busy girl...and the dh always gets on this pc and doesnt give it up so i can use it ....things are going really good ....ryan my son and i have been following the plan....i love how i feel like i have so much energy...soon i will be skinny ..today i have to go through my house and get things back in order ...these 4 kiddoes of mine are stinking lazy....but i kinda made them that way myself ...when i was a lil girl ...i had alot of responsibilities i had to babysit my lil sis and bro...and clean the house daily and do the laundry and cook...my parents both worked all day and i helped out ..probably more then i should have ...but it made me a better person....i just didnt want my kids to feel like i did as a kid ...i lost alot of my childhood ....so i guess its all my fault...any way ....yesterdays menu ....B-coffee L-omlet with bell pepper and red onion...
D-bacon ranch salad from mc donalds........good luck to all and have a wonderful day ...

Thanks for stopping by my journal! I know what you mean about not wanting your Whitney to get married so young...Sami is 20 - she'll be 21 in Aug - and Steven is 25. He has already bachelors degree in studio art and is currently attending the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale to get his graphic design degree...anyway, when he came to DH & I to ask for her hand in marriage, he assured us that they were going to have a long engagement - at least 2 years...long enough for her to finish college - she is a psychology major.

WELL...he proposed in October...the next thing I knew they had decided to get married this-coming September... We are thrilled because she is soooo happy and Steven is a great guy, but I made it very clear to both of them that I expect her to stay in school and get her degree after they are married.

I guess as mom's we always want to keep our kids from making the same mistakes that we did...I dropped out of college my first year and got married at 19...but, I did go back when I was 23 and finally graduated but it wasn't easy...and I'll be married 26 years this April, so it all worked out...

Oh, I can sooooo relate about the CLEAN YOUR ROOM thing...I have 2 kids and they are both pigs......I told Sami yesterday that I certainly hope that when she gets married she keeps her house neater than she keeps her bedroom at home...
