Thanks for the sweet words, Lis

This is the yogurt I get:

The Cream Top yogurt is full fat and has a layer of cream on top that you stir in to the yogurt. It's so YUM! Of course, I get the plain, which has no added sugar, and I sweeten it with Vanilla Splenda. And Brown Cow is also an Organic brand.

And on another note, if you notice my stats, I have changed my goal weight. I debated on whether to change it to 120 or 125, but decided I'm not sure how I feel right now about 120, but seeing where I'm at at 140, I could easily go down to 125. So...while I am still keeping 130 as a mini-goal for July 21st, my new goal (for now!) is 125lbs

140.2 this morning! That's another .2 lbs. I just can't believe this roll I'm on! And it is SO BEAUTIFUL outside today! I wish I had my bike already so I could take it out for a ride right now!

Well, I worked yesterday, and obviously I did great on my menu. I actually took a meal for dinner instead of snacks. And then when I got home (at about 9:30pm) I still wasn't hungry at all, so I didn't eat anything, just drank a half bottle of Crystal Light with my pills and that was it for the night. But then, it's starting to get too warm to be drinking tea or cocoa after dinner, anyway.

So here is yesterday:

B - Choc. protein shake w. 1 T. PB - 7

S - handful mixed nuts - 2

L - 5 turkey & cheese roll-ups - 2
1/2 c. yogurt w/ 2 diced strawberries & Splenda - 4

D - Leftover Rottisere chicken - 0
1 c. broccoli slaw salad - 5

Total = 20 carbs

We need to keep this ball rolling don't we!! Congrats on more weight loss. You might even be in the 130's tomorrow! We will have to have a internet party then! Your menu was terrific. Good job on planning ahead and taking something real for dinner. The weather IS beautiful...hope it just stays this way! What kind of bike are you getting?

I am learning from you to be patient when the scales start to fluctuate like crazy...........that they will eventually settle and go downwards again..................

GREAT JOB on the weight loss roll you are on...You are my Hero these days...

On another ....how does one eat just 1/2 yogurt (4 oz) isn't that like 3 spoons....it's like, you just get started and its' over .......maybe when i can get over that mindset I will have success in my WOE

LOL...Honestly, 1/2 c. is A LOT for me! But then, I never eat more than 6 oz. anyway, which is one of the small cups. And sometimes, if I'm eating it mixed with Fiber One, I even eat only 1/4 c.!!

Thank you for such nice words, Candy. You, too, are a dear

Well, just as I suspected, I went up a bit this morning to 140.8. I was so hungry after dinner last night that I had a second helping of Shepherds pie. I went over my carbs, but I figured if I'm hungry, I'd better eat, so I did. Plus, I figured it was mostly veggies anyway. But afterwards, but stomach started gurgling and I got a few little cramps while it was settling. Usually when that happens, it means I'm going to go up the next day until things settle down again. Oh well But the good news is that I'm still 140!!

So obviously today I am going to watch it a little more closely. I do work today, so I will work around that...Maybe take some leftovers from last night, or maybe just some snacks. I guess it depends on what I eat for lunch.

Anyway, here's yesterday:

B - choc. PB shake - 6

L - a slice of roast beef - 0
broc. slaw salad - 5
SF jello w/ whipped cream - .5

D - Shepherds Pie - Gr. beef, tomato sauce, green beans and mashed cauli topped w/ cheese (2 servings!) - 13
1/2 diet cranberry juice - 1
SF pudding w/ 1 strawberry and whipped cream - 6

Total = 31.5 carbs

So again, it is beautiful today! I'm excited because I bought some new (smaller!) spring/summer clothes yesterday...some tops and a skirt. I am going to wear one of them today. I'm so happy that I am liking to shop again! Losing weight makes all the difference. It's so much more fun when you can fit into almost anything you pick out. Of course, Will probably isn't as happy about it as I am when he see's the bills...

Hey Krys,

where are the 13g coming from in your S pie.......i don't see anything that can have 2 portions so high...just meat and veggies...unless it is the tomato sauce

Anyways I am sure it is all the fibre in that pie that has the scales up...I bet you you get a woosh by weekend

You keep talking about brocolli slaw in your menus and I soooo want to try it........but you know me and Brocolli are not friends .
Tell me you steam the brocolli first or use it raw.

Also is your choc PB shake from a can or homemade.
sorry for all the questions but i am trying to change the things I eat/buy now.

OK one more thing .....I am sending you a PM so look out for it

All the carbs in the shepherds pie came from the sauce and veggies. one serving was around 6.2 carbs, so I just rounded up.

My Broccoli Slaw salad is made from the shredded stems from the broccoli, mixed with some cabbage and carrots. I add some cheese, bacon bits and ranch dressing. Unfortunately, I do just eat it raw. Sorry

I make my chocolate PB shakes from scratch! I'm still working on my favorite recipe, but so far I like it best made from 1/2 c. chocolate Calorie Countdown, 1/2 c. water, 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder, 1 T. Benefiber, 1 T. natural peanut butter and 4-5 ice cubes.

Plus, I answered your PM!

Shepherd's pie, brocolli slaw, chocolate and peanut butter...girl you are making me hungry!

Sorry about the slight weight gain! Like you told me..it will be gone by the weekend! We just have to keep doing what we are doing! Right?! You are doing great on your menu...even if you thought you went crazy yesterday!

Have you let Will know anything about your weight loss yet? Where do you like to shop for clothes?

Unfortunately, as I confessed to Lisa earlier, I spilled the beans about my weight loss to Will at 144 lbs However, his reaction was well worth it! And in a way, I'm glad I told him, cause now I can tell him stuff and he is very supportive and encouraging...and more understanding about my new shopping habits!!

I shop everywhere...Yesterday it was Kohl's, the stuff I bought before that was at Anthropologie (One of my favorite stores), and I love Ann Taylor. I get a lot of staples like Tshirts and such at Gap or JCPenney or Mervyn's. This weekend we are going to St. George, so I will be going to the J Crew outlet. Sometimes I go to Ross, too.

Ok that sounds delish...............unfortunately I don't get calorie count down or any other LC milk...so i usually just use half cream half water...

back to the broccoli......so what do you do with the broccoli tops......cause you are always just mentioning that you eat the stems...i won't believe that you throw them away

Well, I have had a long day. I had to go into work this morning first thing to cover for my boss, who's dad got in a car accident and broke both his legs and was having surgery. Then afterwards, I had to go to get a gift for my boss' birthday (she's a really cool boss,) then the bank and then the scrapbook store to start looking for the stuff to do my wedding album before my friend came over to scrapbook from 6 - 10:30pm. My goal is to have my wedding allbum done by the time I get back to NC. I haven't even started. But I picked the base colors today (Truffle and Crimson, YUM!) Does that count??? Anyway, thats why I haven't posted earlier. Sorry I missed you Beth!

The scales were NOT my friend this morning. I weighed in at 141.2, a full pound up in 2 days! Needless to say, I've been mad about it all day!

Here's yesterday's menu:

B - Vanilla shake w/ 1/2 c. fresh strawberries - 6

S - 2 cheese sticks - 1.5

L - 5 turkey & Cheese Roll ups - 2
Blue Bunny yogurt - 4

S - Atkins bar - 2
Large serving almonds - 4

LATE D (about 9:30pm) - 2 eggs scrambled w/cheese - 2
4 bacon - 0

Total = 21.5 carbs

That is why I have decided to just weigh once a week because even though i know a gain on the scale can be water, , hormones or whatever.......it still affects my moods BIG TIME ..........My family would agree with me when i say," I am much more plesant to be around when I don't weigh daily"

I took some pictures of me in green to send to Will for St Paddy's Day (It's his favorite holiday!) and I was just so happy with the noticable difference in how I look (to me, anyway! See?? my skinny arms are almost back!) that I had to post them here, too. So here I am 18 lbs. down :

Just for a little comparison, here is a "before" picture. Oddly, I couldn't really find one of me just standing up full length, so this will have to do. And beleive me, you will get the idea! PS~ That is me with DH and SIL...both so skinny!
