Phatjow's on her way (again)
Hi, I am phatjow and I am starting a lowcarb woe for the hundredth time... My diabiets is out of control.. My weight is high, but I did loose 30lbs and keep it off for almost 2 years,
which is a step in the right way...I am short on time but need encouragement, so I thought the message boards would be a good way for me to stay on track.. II started out the day with ham and eggs.. I have had the stomach flu for 2 days and meat and veggies were not sounding real great to me.. now I have a bladder infection,,, I find you all very encouraging... ![]() Last edited by phatjow : 01-13-2007 at 09:27 AM. yesterday, my first day went ok... I resisted pizza!!!! Still feeling bum after the stomach flu,
it wasnt too hard to keep on track. I did a lot of resting.. My BS went down to 104, yesterday, thats great!! This morning its 134 which is not great but better than the 200's I have been dealing with.. I know that this woe works, why is it soooo hard to keep on it... I feel motivated still... ![]() |

Stay strong, and just think of how good you'll feel in a week or two, and then a month from now.
The message boards here are a great way to be encouraged, and to stay accountable. |

MLK day and its cold and windy here in the NW..
I was not 100% low carb yesterday, but managed to loose 2 lbs any way .. My biggest problem yesterday, was that I took my Metforman, when my BS was 139.. it threw me into the shakes and I eat a banana to get out of it... I still eat low carb the rest of the day.. My BS was in the 130's again, so I didnt take Met, this morning..I will check through out the day to see if my BS is still low enough not to take it... Its unbelieveable to me how eatting no carbs can bring down the BS so fast... I know the weight loss is water, but you got to start some where.. and some one said that the water loss is the first 4 or 5 lbs.. so Ive lost 6lbs so far.. now am I losing fat? hope so.. exercise will come soon..![]() |
