Well, here I am again finally .... and briefly I am sure. I cannot promise to visit journals, nor can I promise to even keep posting in mine. When I promise, something always happens.

BUT, because of everything happening with myself and Hannah ... I have retained yet AGAIN. I am sooo swollen and I have to get this water weight off. I am trying to at least start posting again in my fitday and track things. I really have been eating too much off plan, I think I have just been eating too much period -- too many good carbs. I am determined to reach the SOLID 50# loss by the end of the year. I need to be here to accomplish that. I need to be accountable in my fitday as well. If things hadn't gone so crazy, I think it could have been much more.

Hannah does not not have a gluten allergy, but perhaps a mild sensitivity to gluten AND wheat. However, the doctor thinks its NOT enough to worry about. So basically, all MAJOR things have been ruled out and we have a diagnosis of abdominal migraines and CVS (cyclic vomiting sydnrome). We have been trying to find a local support group -- they cost MONEY (That just floors me). We have various medications to treat this with, and it's so frustrating. It mimics so many other things that you will always wonder if you are treating the right thing. Now, within this past month, she has had strep throat twice. She was resistant to the first antibiotic, and had to have another one. If it is gone now, I have to take her back to another doctor.

I have major back issues, and have been lying in the bed most times when I am own. I check email periodically. Life at work (when I have been able to go) is totally different, and continuing to change daily.

I think of all of you often ... I try to send an email when I get a chance. Again, I am going to try and come in here a bit at time and keep up with fitday.

You guys are so sweet ... thanks for stopping by.

We "might" be moving forward ..... the worm might have turned (tongue in cheek).
Randy found out this morning that THIS MONDAY, he is finally getting moved back to first shift. It's been a year of broken promises, and we thought it would never happen. They even gave him a raise as a good faith token for all the time he spent on third ... when the initial move was just to help them out in a pinch. I have to get my schedule re-arranged on Friday's with my new boss, since I will pick up Hannah on Friday's now. I pray that he will not be difficult about it. We just continue to tell ourselves that things will happen on GOD'S timetable, not our own.

For the past 2 days, Hannah has been great. She is going to be real excited to hear the news about her daddy going back to first. Randy wants to take her to the mall tomorrow to tell her. (Go figure).

Speaking of the new boss, I had a meeting with him yesterday and I am very impressed. IF what he says comes true, I have the opportunity to earn some bucks !

Well, I still have a bit to go to get back to signature weight (which was the lowest) -- but did drop 2lbs of over the past few days. It pains me to change my siggy, so I won't. I am 229 this morning. So, 13lbs to go, and I know at least 5-7 is water weight because my legs and ankles are so swollen. I think a lot of it is inactivity at night. I overdo it with my back during the day and have stepped up the pace a bit, so I crash each night.

Well, I need to run. My friend at work started her Kimkins plan back and her sister-in-law (who also works with us) started low carb. I have told her about this site, so maybe we can welcome a new face.

Candy it is good to have you back here in the swing of things. It is amazing how much support we get here. I'm sure if you work hard you can get those pounds off fast. Think about maybe just starting over from the beginning. At least you know with Induction that it won't take long to come off.

Congratulations to DH on getting on first shift! I know he has waited a long time for it. How is he doing on his diet?

Hey guys !! It's great to see you both !! Randy is maintaining just wonderfully ... (sticks tongue out). I have sorta bumped back down to induction levels just to get the ball rolling. Down to 227 this morning. I know it's just water, but geeze !
Things at the office got real rough last night (and I will refrain from discussing it on a public forum), but I have some tough decisions to make. Hope you both are doing well. Hopefully before long I can make a visit to everyone's journals. Wishing all my friends a WONDERFUL day.

I miss everyone and think of all of you often. Lisa, I have your email and have sent you a couple of emails. Domonee and Marnie, if you would like to PM me, I will give you my email. Yesterday morning Hannah had an attack about 1AM. It didn't last long, but she felt horrible all day. So, now without the maintenance meds, we will see how long before she has another.

I am having to place in after-school care on Fridays. I am not crazy about it, but it's my only option -- or lose my job. Yeah, and about the job ... I need to be selfish again. Please pray, I am struggling daily with some issues that I don't "agree" with. It's not a matter of opinions, but of conscience.

I know you are thrill to have Dh at home at night.... As far as being up after eating chinese, its probably for the sodium thats in it... drink plenty of water that should help....

Just popping in to say HI !! I am still here. This computer justs keeps locking up. I have re-installed everything. But, I am not sure what's going on.
Life has been very crazy for me still. I have gained a bit of weight back, but honestly it hasn't been top priority for me lately. We have finally got some news on Miss Hannah. She will be having her tonsils and adenoids removed. It is possible this could have been causing her problems for quite some time. We have had four confirmed cases of strep since the last week of September, with the last being the day after Christmas. I have to take her to Cartersville to see the ENT on Monday (New Year's Eve) at 10AM for the surgical consult, etc. It's probably going to be Jan. 10th. Her tonsils are so severely infected that she needs another 10 days of anitbiotics prior to surgery. They say they will bleed badly and it can be rather painful to take them out while infected this bad. So, for now please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I think of ALL of you daily and hope to be back soon.

This computer justs keeps locking up. I have re-installed everything. But, I am not sure what's going on. Life has been very crazy for me still. I have gained a bit of weight back, but honestly it hasn't been top priority for me lately. We have finally got some news on Miss Hannah. She will be having her tonsils and adenoids removed. It is possible this could have been causing her problems for quite some time. We have had four confirmed cases of strep since the last week of September, with the last being the day after Christmas. I have to take her to Cartersville to see the ENT on Monday (New Year's Eve) at 10AM for the surgical consult, etc. It's probably going to be Jan. 10th. Her tonsils are so severely infected that she needs another 10 days of anitbiotics prior to surgery. They say they will bleed badly and it can be rather painful to take them out while infected this bad. So, for now please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I think of ALL of you daily and hope to be back soon.
