I'm glad you found a doc you like. It's the antihistamine in the Periactin that can cause excitability in young children. Has Hannah ever been tested for allergies? I suffered for many years until I was tested and you'd be surprised at what you can be allergic to. My biggest offender is dust mites and they are everywhere.

Candy I'm so, so sorry about Randy's uncle & your co-worker and all you are going through with Hannah. I second the allergy testing suggestion, it could really give you some answers. I am thinking of you and praying for you daily, my friend!

Thanks my friends. I knew the antihistamine was the problem, but when reduced the dose, then she had an actual headache, vomiting etc. So, finding the happy medium or finding another med is crucial. I am actually glad they are ordering the CT scan. I would rather be safe than sorry.

We had a decent night last night ... no whining, but a bit of talking in her sleep. But that is something she has always done ... so it didn't freak me out.

A while back when my workload increased, it was because they moved one of my co-workers to another dept. She is now leaving the company, which doesn't affect my dept any longer, but the extra work is still there. She made a fatal mistake in telling us what her salary was ... I know how unethical "salary" conversations are, so I only listening .... boy, am I ticked. I wish I had never known ..... her base salary was more than I made with my commission last year. UGHH !! No wonder she never did anything !! And it was all based on her "looks", etc. The cute little blonde ...

Ok, enough ranting. I am sorry that my journal has turned into a complaint department. But it is the only place I can vent .... so for those of you who tolerate me, I certainly appreciate it.

I weighed 216 again this morning ... so that was a nice suprise (it was 217 yesterday).

My computer was hacked ... you know the list goes on. Randy was told hopefully within the month he would be moving back to first shift ... we have heard it so many times, we will just wait and see ... and not get our hopes up.

I need to run for now. I hope to be able to check in on you all over the weekend. Maybe things will be somewhat calm around here ... there are no plans for the weekend. Well, there are plans, but we are chosing to stay home and not attend. Sigh ......

Sorry about the co-worker leaving you with more to do and extra frustration. She should have never discussed her pay with all of you. But since she did I wouldn't hestitate to go to my boss and discuss a raise if you are having to work harder. Most bosses will only give you a raise if you ask for it. Nevertheless, you know that there is room in his pocketbook to pay you more.

Maybe there is really good news on the horizon for you regarding Randy's job. Don't lose hope. Keep your chin up!

So, the 216 was real!! Hip hip hooray! Let us know when you hit that 214 and we will celebrate big.....50 pounds!

It does take time for all the meds to be worked out. Hope the CT scan will help.

Candy, sorry about still having problems with DD health. I do hope Randy DOES finally get a day job. And I was sorry but not surprised to read about the cute little blonde making the big money. Happens all the time. Life is so not fair. But you know what? She may be a little cutie blonde, but you have a loving family and lots of friends! And you didn't have to rely on your looks to get your job. You had talent. And you can always go blonde if you wanna. lol J/K You know I love ya.

Thanks to all for stopping by. Sorry I didn't get to journals again .... my quiet peaceful weekend turned out to be just the opposite as usual.

Katy, I am a Account Executive for Special Publications within a group of newspapers. So, Beth ... sadly my other co-worker and I have asked for a raise on 2 other occassions and were told to sell more ads ........ figures, huh ? I suppose the cute blonde negotiated her pay raise when she was hired.

I am worried about some restructuring now within our department, and possibly us be aligned back under the Marketing division of the company. We are presently aligned in Circulation Sales (but I am not sure why).

Anywhoo, I am trying to keep my chin up on this CT Scan. I have been thinking that we needed this for a bit now ... so I am hoping they will find NOTHING, which would mean that it's just the migraines (could be caused by several factors) and the CVS (Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome). I pray they don't find any serious "cause" when they do this test.

Hannah and I are headed to bed early this evening. It's been a long weekend and we are both exhuasted. We have been in our PJ's all weekend .... and we are still exhausted.

I'll check back in as soon as I can and I am blessed to have you all as friends and that you still take the time out of your lives to check on me when I cannot return the favor just yet.

She was supposed to have the CT Scan done this morning at Floyd. However, they called me late yesterday afternoon to tell me that the insurance company would not approve it. They have agreed to pay for and MRI, which is a much more advanced scan. They don't want to do it here locally, they want to do this at Scottish Rite. They will probably sedate her and would prefer that a children's hospital do this as opposed to our local hospital here. I am waiting on the scheduling department to let me know when they will do this. It will be an all day trip for us.

They have asked that because of the delay, we go ahead and add back the morning dosage of medication. This makes me nervous, and I am really struggling with it. BUT, I am having to weigh some heavy options here.

Things are little uneasy at work. Still not sure what will happen with our department.

Do any of you remember when my sister found out she was diabetic ? Anywhoo, she has been going to diabetic classes and has changed her diet. It's not exactly low-carb, but I think there are some similarities. She has lost 27lbs !! I am so proud of her.

My weight us up tremendously this morning, and I am not quite sure why. I was at 223 !! What's up with that ? I will vote for stress and my famous water retention issues. I think it's the "LOG RIDE" (for those of you familiar with Six Flags in Atlanta).

Lisa, it's great to see you. How's the racing going ? They canceled our local races unti 2008, except for the major shows. The owner of the track has cancer, and he is not expected to make it. They moved him to ICU last week.

Thinking of you today. Hope Hannah is adjusting to the medicine again. It's so hard to make some of those decisions for your children especially when you know what can happen if they take it! Sorry for the delay in posting, I have been down myself with a migraine. Still not up to snuff, but gotta press on.

We go to Scottish Rite Friday night at 5:30PM for the MRI of the brain. (Oddest time I have ever heard of for an outpatient procedure). There been some confusion about sedation ... they will not sedate her, so we'll see how it goes.

I am headed back to bed, I just took a moment to pop-in and give you an update.
