I hope your daughter gets the help she needs. I know what it's like since I have had IBS problems since junior high school.

What a dear person you are to have posted this for me. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I will save this link and read up on it.

Hannah has another appt. in the morning at the hospital. I have been MIA the past few days and will be for at least a few more, Randy's uncle passed away. The funeral will be Friday .....

Well, we got Randy's uncle buried and Hannah to the doctor. Then a friend/co-work for mine passed away. We had to go to the funeral home yesterday and today is the funeral. It's just all too much ........... I am hanging in there, and trying to convince myself I am not supposed to understand any of this.

Hannah is having some major personality changes, and we are trying to determine if the meds are causing this. I swear, it is like she is possessed at times and it scares the heck out of me. It's not my Hannah doing these things.

I am on plan with my Atkins, and am praying for another woosh real soon. It has been hard because there was so much "funeral food" and so little good choices, but I managed. I suppose the stress factor is just causing me to maintain rather than shed pounds. You know, I don't understand the trials that we are going through right now, so I don't even try anymore to understand my WOE, I just do it and pray that in the end it works properly.

I am agreeing with several of you .... and walking by Faith. One day, my roller coaster will coast .... and I can be back in the loop with you all. I am still trying to check in as often as possible.

Candy~walking in faith is all you can do right now. And yes, I think stress is why you haven't been losing. Might be my reason too. My Dad has been in the hospital again in very serious condition, but he's on the mend! The miracles of modern medicine. He couldn't live without them, but certainly they are killing him also.

I hope that you can figure out what is causing the personality changes with Hannah. That doesn't sound good. But, it could be that all the stress that you've been experiencing is rubbing off on her. for Hannah and her health.

Sue, we did speak to the doctor's office yesterday and they are highly confident that it's the meds. They are trying to adjust the dosage. I will keep you and your Father in my prayers. Thanks for stopping by.

I woke up to a slight woosh this morning. 219 / a 3lb woosh. If it's typical Candy style, it will take a week to stay at that way. But, that's ok it was nice to see. Only 5 more lbs til I reach the 50lb marker.

I am trying to think positive that today will be a good day. No funeral home visits in the schedule, etc. Walking by faith .......

Good morning Candy! Three pound whoosh is just what you needed after all that you have been going through!!! God is good! You are awesome. You haven't let any of the stresses of everything give you excuses to throw away you plan and put it off. Now you've got a new low and well on your way to losing 50 pounds!!! What an accomplishment! You should have full confidence after all that has gone on that you can face anything and still stay on plan. I know that everyone around here has missed you (as evidence your journal still keeps going). There is a brighter day coming my dear friend! Have a blessed week!
