So glad to hear Hannah is ok for now. It sounds like your job is really keeping you busy too.

Congrats on the great weightloss...it seems like whatever that water-retention thing is behind you.

Hello Candy! I've missed you as well! Thanks so much for your kind words. I'll do my best to not stay gone so long this time! Work has really taken a lot out of me. The only thing I've taken time for is golf, LOL. I posted a monthly recap over in my journal. Hope you are well!

Welcome back TT, Jaimie and Stud. It's wonderful to see you all. Stud, trust me I understand completely about the time thing these days. I'll try to visit your journal soon. It's crazy here now days.

Folks, I ate pretty well for a week, and even had BAD carb snacks for lunch - and was able to "maintain" at a certain point. For the past 2 days, I have eaten foods ON plan, although my carbs have not been low ... they have been good carbs. Yesterday I was greeted by 226 on the scales and this morning 228 on the scales. Hmm, that's 6lbs. .... but that's me for ya. I am not gonna sweat it. Frankly, I don't have the time.

It's great to see all of you here. I have a few work items to take care of this morning online BEFORE work. If time permits, I will try and visit a few journals. to you all.

Girl, you are just demonstrating to us all how our lives can be chaotic and you still can make LC work! I am glad to see that you are not getting all stresses out with the gain. You are learning your body and knowing how it reacts to different things. You are so much more relaxed about your WOE now than you were months ago and that is major growth. Remember when we would get so upset over a half pound gain? Keep doing what you are doing (minus the high carb snacks), do a little more planning, and hang in there until your life slows down a bit! And most importantly, keep coming back here and checking in with us all! We miss your long journal entries and the pages we have to catch up on because it's so busy around here!

Hello Friends. Just taking a quick moment to pop-in. I feel so "disconnected" here these days. Maybe one day .........

I have no clue what I weighed this morning, frankly I forgot to weigh.
Hannah started Kindergarten yesterday, and then got another stomachache today.
I have this feeling (with the toy recall) that I want to have her checked for lead exposure. (Long story, but some of the symptoms fit).

Anywhoo, my friend has not told anyone which chemo he chose and will all feel in the dark. I think he is beginning to struggle.

I have to run back down to Austell tonight. My aunt is in the hospital with the radiation/iodine or whatever "treatment" to make sure the cancerous thryoid particles are gone ... then they will recheck her and possibly proceed to the lung biopsy.

My sister is struggling and we are trying to get her sugar down and the bloodwork in order .... it's a nightmare.

Things are work have NEVER been this busy ... however, the revenue is not up ... just the work for now. Maybe one day soon it will all pay off.

Our custodian won the 2nd prize in the lottery drawing the other night. She get's $1,000 a week for a year. I think she will net about $32 grand ... I was soooo happy for her. They are a sweet family.

Well, everyone is ready to leave, but I had to stop in only for minute ....

So much coming out of China that is not good. I do hope it is not lead poisoning for dear Hannah.

Oh, how I could use $1,000.00 a week. That would pay off DD's college bill in short order.

Candy, seems you are surrounded by worry. I am so sorry and hope everyone is OK. Poor Hannah! I hope this is not her trouble. I recently read in another Atkins book about silver fillings and since I have a mouth full of them it scared me to death. I almost wished I had not read it.

Thank you all for your love and continued support despite my absence here these days. I have tightened my seatbelt and am having to learn to live my life on a whim. That is just not me and I don't like it. I need a schedule. But, no time for schedules and there are so many variables.

It is almost 4AM, and now I am wide awake. Rather than just continuing to lie there I thought I would try to get my focus off my worries and come catch up on some journals.

Water/weight has fluctuated this week. Somedays I have not weighed. On the days I have weighed, it has been at a different time. I weighed on the way to the computer just now, and saw 223 ... better than what I saw earlier this week.
