So what do you guys usually eat anyway - does he eat what you eat or....? Just curious cause my hubby keeps thinking about doing Atkins and I'm just curious as to what a guy would eat... well that doesn't really make any sense but - LOL - I'm just curious

Dear Candy!

I have missed you girl! Thanks for your kind words about DD, I am a lucky mom!

Surgery updates in my journal, but I couldn't stay away from everyone's journals anymore...it was literally driving me crazy staying away from the computer! I made DH make me a pile of things to put my foot up on so I can sit at he computer. I feel like an addict that finally got my fix.......aaaaaahhhhhh.

Whew !! What a weekend. Got home really late Saturday -- had a good time. They had some storms over there and a tree fell on there roof and punctured it. So, the guys worked to get that repaired. I tried all day to get online yesterday, but we had storms and the power kept flickering ... I was afraid of an electrical surge to our house.

Roller coaster on the weight again this weekend. Was 220 on Saturday, 225 on Sunday and 22 this morning.

Maggie, you can scroll through my fitday and see what I eat. That's what Randy eats. BUT, typically he only does it Mon-Fri. On the weekends, he eats WHATEVER he wants and drinks WHATEVER he wants. I told him it would backfire, but it hasn't. I do believe one day it will. So, it's not something I can recommend, but it has worked for him.

Lisa, just back to Cedar Bluff for the fireworks and a cookout this past Saturday. NEXT Saturday we leave for the beach.

Jaimie, it's great to see you here. I will check your journal for the surgery update. Your daughter is a dear. And yes, I too am addicted to LCF.

Laura, it's good to see you. Yes, the truck driver thing is very bizarre. Thought you might enjoy reading about it. WE never like how we look, but that doesn't mean we are not beautiful.

Monet, Maggie, Twink and all of you that have stopped by this weekend. (I am sure I have omitted someone, but not on purpose so think nothing of it). Thanks a bunch. I love you all.

Candy, the weight will always go up and down for us females. Frusterating, I know. But looking at the big picture, at least you know its water and not fat, right? Not to worry. You are doing just fine! And I am so very proud of you!

Remember that the scale is an awesome motivator, but you have to force yourself sometimes to use the "pan out" function when it comes to focusing on weightloss. Meaning, look at the big picture... You're smaller!!!

Hey Candy! Just got caught up on your journal. I see you also went away for a few days. That travel weight can really do a number on your emotions. You did well with your eating so not to worry. This week will just be getting back on track and drinking lots of water to get the gain off. It is good to be back with all my friends. Hope we can get caught up soon. Sorry I didn't get to call you. My cellphone services was barely there plus I was so busy. I didn't even call my own mother until the last day! Hope this week will be a good one for us both.

I actually feel OK with it, and I know with me it's most definately water. I am the queen .

Hannah is doing much better, we just have to keep her on the Activa yogurt and start with the Miralax, if things don't move. She complained yesterday with a backache and just not feeling well. Randy said she has been fine.
Got rid of all my water weight finally .... then was back up over the weekend, I just enjoy the ride.

We will be going to Panama City Beach 7/7 - 7/14. Supposedly they have an internet cafe where we are staying, so perhaps I can wave from the beach.

I might not can get online from home. Randy has had problems today, I hope nothing from the storms did anything to the computer.

Glad to hear Hannah is getting back to normal. .. I will continue praying for good health for her. Hope your internet problems at home are easily fixed. Have a great time on the beach on the 7th and dont forget to take a ton of pics!

I am still having problems getting on the web at home. I can check email, but the computer will just shut off in the middle of it.

The Imperial Session is in Anaheim right now. Randy doesn't know any Canadian Shriners. I do know a few by "screen name" on an email message board. We are going to the beach for family vacation ... and I can't wait. Hannah seems to like the yogurt pretty well.

I wanna come along too! Love the beach. Our beaches in the Pacific Northwest are COLD. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. I love the warmth of the beaches in N and S Carolina!!! I want to vacation on the Outer Banks!
