Loved the ice cream story!

Candy, if you are losing eating peanut butter it means you are able to control it and it is fine for you. Need I tell you what happens to a jar of peanut butter here? lol You can guess. Today I want to share what I just learned the hard way about seafood. Scallops do contain carbs--about 1 gram per ounce. Been eating a lot of them and wondering why I can't get the sodium bloat off... Yesterday I ate 2 lbs! I am lucky I did not gain further. Found this info in the outdated 72 version... opps

As far as your DH wanting to go check out a beach place, well, you get 2 vacations that way!

Interesting graphs were posted on the thread 'I Should Not Weigh Everyday". Worth checking this out! Two people posted weight loss graphs which both show what most of us already know--weight drops then goes up then drops, repeats. Still, they show a down ward trend in general. Goes to show us not to be upset by a little fluctuation.

Ok, so now the trip might be back on ???

Maybe I need a break ? However, it will take a week to recover. I will be totally worthless at work tomorrow. But, I am not sure it's different from any other day. Maybe a trip to the beach would get me refocused to make more $ between now and our real vacation in July. It would certainly help to remind me I need $ to buy some new clothes.

I am so drugged up, that I am not sure if I feel better or not. My sinuses/allergies are giving me one of those sinus pressure headaches. Randy says the ocean breeze will cure me. .

our weather is crazy.. they said we may have frost tonight.. in the 30's... I had to cover my maters.. .. and now I feel like I am getting a cold.. grrr

Oh yeah, Lisa I forget you don't do water. I NEVER liked the beach ... until last year. There was just something about it. Til the fish and seaweed got on me ... then I was DONE with the ocean. But the pool was pretty cool. Watching Hannah w/her floaties.

Ok, one reason I am agreeing to go this weekend ... I think .... is this.
I called the place we stayed last year, and priced 2 hotel rooms. I can get two SEPERATE hotel rooms for the same price as this cheezy place Randy wants to stay. SO, I get my own room and my own bathroom. And I can sleep in privacy. It's still less than a 2 room condo. It's not quite as nice, but I am ONLY gonna sleep/shower there.

sorry to hear you are having problem with your sinuses.... we went to moms wednesday afternoon and when I got ther and went out on her back porch, my allergies acted up really bad.... it was almost all of a sudden, congestion built up in my chest and I could clear my throat... I went inside and took a allergy pill and it cleared up pretty quick... the same thing happen when we went to dd house the next morning, I took the dogs out to walk in the yard and thought I would choke to death before I got back to the house... Not sure whats in the air up there, but something it... (North alabama and south tennessee)

I love the beach, I live in florida down in HObesound for 6 years and hardly ever got to go, had to work 3 jobs to suport kids and to be able to live down there... but loved it anyway..... hobesound is on the east coast not far from westpalm, beautiful down there.... Dh doesn't care much for the beach, but loves to go the mountains... loves gatlinburg and piegion forge..... Wished I could talk him in to a trip to the beach

anyway just wanted to pop in and tell you a quick hello... and let you know I am still around....

I'm so jealous! That is one of Will's and my favorite spur of the moment things to do...load up the Jeep and head to the beach! We won't be able to do that this year since his deployment was extended But we are planning on getting our Anniversary pictures taken at the beach this year.
