Today is Thursday, which means it's weigh-in day for my challenge. The number did not stick as I had hoped, but I am pleased with my weigh-in as I have not be able to post a loss in several weeks.

Challenge Start Weight: 247
Current Weight: 235
Weekly Progress: -3
Total Challenge (30 in 3) Loss: -11
TOTAL LOSSES: -29

I actually think 3lbs is awesome. ... and I am gloating

But knowing that yesterday I saw 233 is a little disconcerting However, I knew it wouldn't stick. But I will be there before long.

I still ponder what or if I was doing anything wrong. I have considered the CO and will not have for a while, as I am out. I also considered just an adjustment period. I don't plan to change up the things I am eating too much. Maybe some new recipes, but definately no new foods.

I considered the stress of Hannah's sickness and my job a major factor as well.

I am even considering this to be issues with my beta blocker and my fluid retention. I cannot stop the beta blocker without doc's approval. Even though the fluid pill is prescribed daily, I can't take it daily because I would get leg cramps from deyhydration/potassium -- and Atkins is a natural diuretic itself according to Dr. A. I think I will only take the diuretic when my ankles are swollen for 2 days. They are swollen still this morning, so perhaps tonight.

Hopefully I have kicked 238 to the curb. After 2 days BELOW that #, I am claiming the victory that I no longer weigh 238, nor do I want to EVER see that number again.

My goal is to lose one more pound and claim the 30# loss.

Oh Candy! That is so awesome! I think 3 lbs a week is ideal! And...the 2 lbs that you saw gone will go away again. My entire loss was that way--here today, gone tomorrow and back once more. I always said I had to lose it all twice. You saw the lower number so don't forget it. That is part of the weight span I mentioned previously.

Speaking of weight span/danger zone--I am out of it! Barely...159.5 today. The Doc wants me to do low fat while getting the meso and honestly, I can't do it. But I am still reducing fats anyways as I attempt to climb the carb ladder, but I hate low fat meats. Had pork chops last night that reminded me of leather. I couldn't eat much. However, we went to Golden Coral yesterday and I ate more veggies than I normally would, broccolli, green beans & a salad with FF Italian and even some fruit. The fact that my weight is back down further re-enforces what Dr. A stresses about climbing the ladder...less fats=more carbs. But, lol, I am going back to fattier meats cause I can't chew leather, lol!

Candy~a three pound loss for the week is great. I'm glad you'll never see 238 again! I dropped the CO. I started gaining with it, which I did a couple years ago when I tried it. For me, I will use it periodically for my chicken coconut curry dish, and an occasional piece of bark, but not everyday and not 3 T!

Hopefully I have kicked 238 to the curb. After 2 days BELOW that #, I am claiming the victory that I no longer weigh 238, nor do I want to EVER see that number again. Oh No You Didn't!!! I *know* you aren't dissin' my number!

My goal is to lose one more pound and claim the 30# loss I bet you lose more than that by the next weigh-in!! You're doing great!

Ok, maybe those were NOT buffalo wings, or maybe they were. Up 1 lb this morning. 236. But it's not 238 so, I will take it. I am only changing my stats on Thursdays.

Anyone ever heard of the Atlanta Steeplechase ? It is held here next Saturday. It's annual event and is a lower leg of the Kentucky Derby. I will be attending as we have a coporate tent. Typically I already have an outfit ready. BUT, it's next Saturday and I have NOTHING to wear. Most wear sundresses and floppy hats. I don't want to wear a hat I don't think. And, a sundress is so out, until I can find that "space" between my legs. So, tonight I am going shopping .....

Capris are what I usually do. I just have to look hard, because the outfit can't be too casual. The first two years I went, I had some ankle length pants, and looking back at the pics they look like pajamas. I can't do matching tops/bottoms. Last year I loved my outfit. But, you can't wear the same thing twice. Perhaps I can find something identical, but in a different color. I need a long flowing pixie type top to cover my belly.
