Hey Candy. Sorry you had such a bad weekend and hopefully the work situation will turn out to be nothing to worry about.

I get the davinci syurps at TJ Maxx. (Not sure if you have one by you.) The davinci brand is $5.99 a bottle (about the size of a wine bottle, not the small bottles that Wal Mart sells) and the Artisan coffe blenders brand is $4.99 a bottle. Teh only problem is they are not always in stock so when you see them you have to grab them.

Thanks for all the hugs and thanks to you all for stopping by. Nothing much was said to DH yesterday. However, the owner of the company was stomping around with the newspaper, just scanning employees.

DH called me less than 15 mins ago and told me they are moving him back to 3rd shift (UGH!!). He finally to first about 6 months ago, and then they used him for a "floater". They told him that there were going to be changes in the company because they were XX amount over budget compared to other distributors in there area. They are letting 4 people "GO", and moving DH back to third. WHEW !! I just hope they keep him on period. Still a little nervous, because he is not sure that the new people know where I work yet.

And, I will look at Walmart and TJ Maxx ... thanks. Had DH look at Walmart before, but I think he was on the pancake isle. I have NEVER seen food products at our TJ Maxx ... but that doesn't mean anything.

Hey Candy sweetie!

You had asked me last night about the cauliflower hash browns - the recipe I tried on Linda Sue's site was suitable for induction - I didn't like it AT ALL - but that's only my opinion - I'm sure others like it... but I don't like cauliflower to begin with so I don't even know what I was expecting from it - hoping the cheese would mask the flavor - well it certainly didn't. What a waste. So anyway... there are my two cents - sorry

once you cook radishes the heat is gone. If you shred then then fry them it kida reminds me of the insides of an egg roll.

You lost me with the tomato, cucumbers and green peppers. I have also learned that onions are not 0 carb, and apparently canned mushrooms are not either.

I can eat green beans, broccoli, and sometimes zuchinni.

Turnips, right ? I hate them ... but if it is closer to potatoes, then I would chose them over radishes or cauliflower. So, do you just buy a fresh turnip, slice it and nuke it ?

Ok ... job status update. DH still has a job -- evidently they don't think he had anything to do with the story (whew!) ... AT LEAST NOT SO FAR.
Employees were given an envelope with a re-hire (new pay, new shifts, new postions, etc)offer or an "application declined offer. GOOD NEWS = no pay decrease and a benefit increase. BAD NEWS = he has been moved back to third shift. UGHH --- I don't like that ... but I will take it over being jobless.

Maggie, 3rd shift is midnight is typically midnight til morning.
He will find out today if he will get to work four 10 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts. We prefer the four 10 hours because he wouldn't have to work Sunday night. The four 10's would be Monday - Thursday night from 10PM til 8AM.

Lisa, don't think it will get us to where we want to be. Because he is grouchy as hell when he works third. Dealt with it for 3 years --- UGHH !!
It will help with our schedule some. But, it is a job ... and it has a paycheck.

... and I will not get much sleep.

Hey Candy. Sorry you dh is back on third shift, but you are right about one thing...at least he still has his job. Maybe eventually he will be able to go back to another more preferable shift.

Good luck with this weekend...I'll be thinking about ya so be sure to give us an update when all is finished.
