That's why I never bothered to buy them. Ever heard of the "burning up/hot" feeling ????
I would think if it's a fever, I would be cold ......

Just wanted to say that you are one of my favorite people on here and I look forward to you visiting my journal every day!

I have been taking a supplement you might be interested in. It is Fiber Choice Weight Management Sugar Free Strawberry chewable tablets. It has Chromax and Green tea in it. I have been chewing one (you can take up to 6 a day) every day and it has been wonderful! No plumbing problems. I bought it at Walmart. You might want to give it a try.

You know...you mentioned "burning up"...well I have been the same way lately!

Take care and burn the fat!!

Hmmmm ... I might have to check them out. The CO has been helping with the "quality", but not the regularity. TMI, sorry.

So, I am not thinking off the wall ?

Ok, I just posted weigh-in. 238.
No loss/No gain from last weeks post.
With my up and down from this week, the weekend, and the cashews .. I'll take that 238 and be proud.

Got more work ahead of me next week .....

Hi Candy!! You are doing fabulous!! You ate Chinese yesterday and didn't have a gain . You have definitely lost since last week if you can eat Chinese and stay at the same weight. You'll see the loss as soon as your plumbing is working right + the water retention is released.

I have been reading about your interest in the stablity ball. You might want to check out a dvd called Stability Ball Workout for Dummies. Not that your a dummy . There are a whole series of workout dvds made by the people that do the Dummies books. It has basic exercises in it. Mel is using her ball to sit on. This works all her core/stabilizing muscles. The ball can also be used for strength training and even cardio to work all the muscles of your body. Just thought you might be interested.

Have a great day!!

Candy, you asked if you could hit a set point already. Yes. My whole weight loss journey was to drop a few and have it "set there" for a week or so, then drop a few more... It's normal. However, one thing to say is that although some foods now are agreeing, beware they can turn on you. I was able to eat an entire jar of salted macadamia nuts and lose just fine for a long time. But now if I eat any at all I blow up. I tried unsalted walnuts and had a gain. Sodium has also become a big issue for me. Even crab legs (my fav) will make me gain 2 lbs and the water won't come off without me cutting everything way back. The body seems to adapt and react differently along the way. I think if the scales don't move for you soon a reduction in nuts and sodium may help. Actually, I would bet on it.

Got my shots...all 50 of them. Thighs are black and blue from the fat disolver. They did cellulite treatment on the butt. The butt feels like I ran nakid thru a bee hive, lol! Thighs are huge. However, my butt appears smoother already. Treatment one down--seven to go.

Candy, saw this recipe for the pumpkin soup and thought you might like to try it. I found it on the internet...http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art14319.asp

Hearty Pumpkin Chili Recipe

Here's a chili recipe that uses the healthy flavor of pumpkin to give it extra flavor and texture. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1lb ground beef
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 (14.5-ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 cup pumpkin
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp pepper
dash salt
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream

In a frying pan, saute the ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic until meet is brown. Pour off grease and add in tomatoes, pumpkin, chili powder, cumin, pepper and salt. Mix well. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

Serve with cheese and sour cream as desired.

servings: 4
Carbs per serving: 1g

Dixie, thanks for telling me more about the ball. And although I don't classify myself as a dummy, when it comes to stuff like this I am a complete IDIOT :duh: I need to check this out. Thanks for the encouragement.

Beth, thanks for the recipe. I may make that sometime. I will be stopping by at your place this evening. Feel free to leave me recipes ... and remember if they are difficult, you gotta help me with them.

TippyToes, I have decided that until I can control my portions with nuts, they are EVIL. I should stick with macadamia and almonds for a treat every so often. Perhaps it's not all nuts, just the 1/2 can of cashews. I am glad you got your first "treatment" behind you. Gosh 50 shots each time ?? more times ?
As long as I am not gaining (not fluctuating a lb or so), I am going to do this with trial and error and I will make it.

Lisa, you are at my place ... threadjack all you want to.

Well, since lunch was complete disaster carbwise, I just ate pork roast for supper and lots of it. NO additional carbs, so maybe I will be OK.

Note to self: NO MORE LIVER & ONIONS anytime soon. 17g carbs. What a disaster.

Additional note to self: Loaded broccoli at Longhorn is the BOMB

Today's Menu

Liver & Onions

I looked at the braised, but it is really for raw.
This was not breaded, but pan fried.

I think fitday is countting more of the onions.
go easy on the onions and make sure no coatting and you should be fine.
Personaly I have no trouble with onions they are a YMMV thing.I hate liver all organ meat but in one of my Atkins books I swear he said organ meat has trace amounts of carbs and are not carb free. Unless you ate like 10 pounds every day I would not stress.

Thanks Lisa. I stopped and didn't add more carbs tonight ... I went into panic mode. It probably does count more onions. I was at 29 carbs so hopefully OK. I eat onions all the time, so maybe that's not an issue with me. Thanks for checking for me.

I am sitting here actually sweating. I think my house is too HOT !! But, I guess I am too cheap to turn the air on just yet.

Maybe a "sauna" atmosphere is good for weightloss

No prob remember weight loss is a great thing but you still have to live and besides liver is way better than say fudge for carbs.

Well, it's a lovely day. I am sitting here drinking coffee w/my CO. I really would like to play hooky today ... but it's not an option.

The scales were nice to me this morning. They moved down a lb.to 237! What a wonderful feeling, after this week.

So, it's either the CO or the liver , or perhaps the removal of cashews.

Who knows, it's a live and learn thing. I don't have much energy this morning, but I am in a good mood.
