Thanks to all my groupies for stopping by
You girlies are the best and I am blessed.

Sorry, I don't think I shared in advance what the weekend plans were. But, we were in Atl all weekend for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was a blast !!

Stayed on plan. Carb counts were higher than "normal" for me. But, I am happy to report this morning no loss or no gain on the scales

I will take that anyday.

Yes, Monet ... I do believe in "Pay It Forward" .. have you seen the movie ??

Hey Candy! Missed everyone this weekend! Good job on with staying steady during a holiday! It really shows that your body is adjusting and not thrown off by a little extra carbs! Be blessed today. I will talk to you some more later!!

Isn't it nice to know that you can have some flexibility in your plan when you need it, and not have to worry about ruining all your hard work?? WTG!

Hey Candy!!!

You did really well this weekend. I'm proud of you.

TNT, USA or Lifetime (I forget which) was playing that movie "Pay it Forward"

I didn't get to see the whole thing, since I was cooking, but for the most part...... awesome concept though.

I always pay it forward.

Yes, for those of you who have never seen the movie, I highly recommend it.

So staying on plan foods and not posting a gain is a good thing I think. I would have preferred a loss, but not complaining.

This will be a hard week for me. Since I was not home over the weekend, my cooking for the week got messed up. We did go to buy the groceries, but I will have to cook every night. I guess it's not such a bad thing, but boy do I love just microwacing dinner.

We are having taco meat w/cheese and ranch dressing tonight.

In the freezer we have the ground beef for a meatloaf, and a roast (not sure if we have beef or pork, but either would be yummy).

I also have some fresh sausage and a can of pumpkin. So, if I can get the heavy cream and broth, I think I will make the pumpkin soup. I will probably omit the mushrooms.

I bought some coconut oil, and it's usage is still up in the air with me. I got some SF syrup at TJ Maxx. It is 3x the size of Davinci's and the same price. However, the taste/flavor requires a lot more ... so I don't think it will last any longer.

Thank you all for stopping by my place, it really means a lot to me.

Hey Monet --- Yep, did almost a teaspoon/tablespoon (?) It was just a large spoonful (not a measuring spoon) but after eating it plain last night, this is a breeze. I think we will have the pumpkin soup tonight. I really hope it doesn't taste like pumpkin, Randy will be pi$$ed.

Morning Candy! I definitely know what you mean about heat-and-eat meals during the week Things just get so busy in the evenings and just having dinner ready seems to take the stress out of it all...

Good plan with the meals you listed, though!!!

Hope you have a great day!!!

Candy, not gaining when over-doing it a bit is just as important as losing. It's all about the long term success, right? Which seems to me you will achieve! I am having some issues of my own weight wise. Everyone is telling me its time to stop losing but I have this hanging fat on my thighs and butt. I finally spoke to a Doc who says since I have a normal BMI (finally) that I should consider cosmetic cures rather than continue losing weight. I am 46 years old and am afraid I could get some serious face wrinkles by losing much more so I payed close attention to what he offers. I am giving in and starting mesotheropy tomorrow. They call it the new lipo-suction but it is done by a series of injections which breaks the fat pockets down. I am excited that I could actually look good in a bikini and be 100% fat free, finally. When I am done with the procedure I am officially calling goal.

Can I be at a set-point this early in the game ?

I never thought about sunflower seeds having salt :duh: I mean, I know they do, just never thought about it. I never considered overdoing it with sunflower seeds and nuts, specifically cashews.

Randy bought 2 cans along with his dry roasted peanuts, and over the course of 3 days, I have eaten at least 1/2 the can.

I failed to log the cashews into fitday, as I was eating them after dinner and figured if I was under on carbs, then it would add enough carbs to "hurt" anything.

Thank goodness the inlaws have been eating them too. I was reading in the Atkins for Life book that they are not the best choice for nuts.

So, here I was thinking I had stalled and even swelled up this morning from the pumpkin sausage soup ... but in actuality it must be nuts period.

Ever since I have added any nuts I really haven't lost. I can control the portions on the macadamias and almonds.

I had the 2 lbs woosh last Wed. night before weigh-in, but not good this morning. Maybe I can get 2 more tonight ...

Coconut oil isn't helping yet. But, I am probably counteracting it with the added sodium.

Pumpkin sausage soup make anyone else retain ?? I am sure it's the nuts.

I saw in the ML you added salt to the soup.
I never did
I use cake spice or apple pie spice and a touch of splenda.
That gives it the sweet pie flavour , then with the spicy sausage yummers!
