Guess I'll find out when it gets here.

Well, we spent the evening at the mall last night -- after eating Chinese food. I don't think I ate too bad, but I had so much of a variety of stuff that I wouldn't dare try to list or enter in fitday.

No movement on the scales, either way this morning.

Made a grocery list and Randy is off to Kroger, Walmart, Dollar General and our local independent grocery for meats.

Planning on cooking things up today and tomorrow. Items include:

Breakfast
sausage patties
chicken muffins
bacon cheeseburger quiche
boiled eggs

Lunch/Dinners
roast in crockpot and/or turkey breast
meatloaf
buffalo chicken strips
taco meat

Sides
slaw
green beans
broccoli casserole

Desert
LC no bake jello cheesecake

Walked a good bit at the mall last night, then took Hannah to the indoor playground there. We had a nice time. There were 2 couples from my office there with their children. So while the kids played, we had a nice adult conversation. A good time was had by all.

Only completed 8 mins on the Gazelle last night before I was pooped. My feet "BURN". I have tried wearing all kinds of shoes on it.
But I wonder if my shoes are getting bigger on me ? Because apparently with the gliding action my feet are rubbing against the inside of my shoes and rubbing them and they start to burn. Very odd.

Good news in the works ... maybe. Randy # of days to work will go from 4 days a week (10 hours shifts) to 5 days a week (8 hours shifts) in about 2 weeks. He will be working Sunday - Thursday. We are praying it will be later than 3PM. If it is at least 5PM -- it would work so much better. We would not need to depend on the inlaws to pick Hannah up from preschool, and then drive me crazy until they don't leave my house until 7PM (tough to do dinner, bath etc. with her 8PM bedtime). If it is 5PM, then I will just be home from work between 4:30 - 4:40 and Randy can pick her up from school.

Candy, yes our feet do lose weight. I have many pairs of shoes that are now too big. Can you just wear socks? BTW, menu looks very good to me. Can I come eat at your house?

Hi Candy! Thought I'd take you up on your invitation to crash your journal! I see you are a Southern girl, too. I am and will always be a total Western girl at heart, but have been living in North Carolina since I got married (and will be there AT LEAST till 2012) and actually really like it there. So I consider myself a transplanted Southerner I am going there in about 3 weeks to buy another house for DH and I (we are renting out our first house) and we will be back for good at the end of the summer when DH gets back from Iraq.

Anyway, I looked at your stats and see you are almost at 25 lbs. lost! WTG!! I look forward to following your progress!

Hey Heidi and Mel ... glad to see you both.

KristaLyn - thanks for coming over and welcome to my pad. The more the merrier.

I am extremely tired this morning. I cooked and cooked and cooked, and although it seems like a lot, I don't think it really is. But it should get us through the week.

I have copied my previous list from Saturday to add what was cooked on Sunday.

Breakfast
sausage patties
chicken muffins
bacon cheeseburger quiche

Lunch/Dinners
turkey breast
meatloaf in muffin tin
buffalo chicken strips (ate over the weekend)
bbq ribs (ate over the weekend)
taco meat

Sides
slaw
green beans
broccoli casserole

Desert
LC no bake jello cheesecake (well between the three of us this has now been devoured).

I am not positive that I am going to work today. Still waiting to see if Hannah has a fever. I am not sure what is up with her unexplained fevers. I am just writing it down as the doctor asked.

Also, I have weighed this morning .. but plan to weigh again. I have not been very regular the past few days and I feel very bloated and "backed up" this morning.

If anyone wants to share any tips to get the plumbing moving again, I sure would appreciate it.

What always works for me is a cup of strong coffee (regular, not decaf)... I think we've all been there... so and hope things work themselves out soon!!!

And a big for Hannah!!! Hope she feels better soon!!!

Thanks Monet and Mel. Monet, I just showed Hannah your picture. She is still unsure how I met someone on the computer. She started smiling when she saw your picture.

Well, I did weigh again ... and no change. Ok, the espson salt thing, how long does it last ? Today might be a good day ...
The coffee has always worked in the past ... but not lately .. that is why I am confused.

I have some Milk of Magnesia (M.O.M) here, wonder if that would be OK ?
Randy just got back from getting a new thermometer and Hannah some popsicles, so I hate to send him back.

Hey Candy! Sorry Hannah is sick today. Hope your day goes well otherwise. I would definitely do the MOM before I did the Epsom salt! That Epsom salt taste terrible (I can still taste it from years ago when I tried it!). But the MOM works good. You definitely need to be at home though. Take the full dose that it says. You will be feeling much better. It will help that weight to start moving too!

Thanks Lisa ... I think I will take some M.O.M. in a bit, if this 2nd pot of coffee doesn't do the trick.

Hannah feels fine, all but the fever. It's just very odd. But,I will give her a hug from Aunt Lisa too.

Hi, Candy!

You know what's been working for me lately? Well, first of all, I have 1-2 T. of Benefiber in my shakes every day. Then If I still get a little "backed up," I stir 1/4 c. Fiber One cereal (5.5 carbs, 7 g fiber) into 1/4 c. plain, cream top yogurt and eat it for breakfast. The next day...works like a charm! Of course, you have to decide if you are willing to add the Fiber One a bit early in your plan (technically, you aren't supposed to add it back until pre-maintenance or maintenance.) For me, it doesn't affect my ketosis or loss, but everyone is different

awww.. I bet is just the sweetest thing.. .. I hope the docs figure out what is causing the fevers.. .. ...

the Epson salt.. does taste bad.. but it will work.. fast.. and it should just be for the night.. might be too late tonight..lol.. or you may be up all night.. .. just a little.. that's why I put mine in tea..lol..

I will tell you.. I have been doing this coconut oil for a few days now. and my bm's aren't as.. solid as before.. so that's a plus..lol.. not real runny either.. just perfect.. .. oh geesh the tings we talk about..

Thanks Krysta. I am concerned about adding the Fiber One, so I might pass on that. I just don't want to screw this up. I am nervous about the yogurt as well. I know there is something about a yogurt exception (?), but I just don't want to mess anything up.

I went a "little" ... TMI, sorry. I am trying to figure out when I can add the Flax in the carb ladder. I want to make those muffins, and I hear they help keep you regular.

Monet, if I can share TMI, so can you. Everyone seems to be giving the coconut oil good reviews ... so maybe I should break down and get some over the weekend. Be careful with portions on the cheesecake ... and remember not to expect a cheesecake taste or texture and you won't be too disappointed.

Ok, I weighed like 4 times this morning and got 4 different #'s. Randy weighed and got 2 different #'s. So, I am not counting any of them.

I have been having some issues with drinking water ... gotta kick that back up. I am guessing I am in ketosis because I am losing (or was last week), and I am having to make myself eat at times. But, I don't have bad breath (or I don't think I have a bad taste in my mouth). Perhaps it's the time change, but since Sunday night, I have not a bit of energy.

Today's Menu

Gonna go Gazelle in a bit .... I have been sleeping better and even overslept the past 2 mornings. Ran late, but I run late even when I get up early.

hello B-E-A-UUUUtiful lady..

glad you went a little.. a little is better then none..

I do suggest you get the coconut oil ....so far so good for me.. how ever.. the only way I actually don't mind it is when I put it in my taco soup..lol
some people warm it and take it my a tablespoon.. and some put it in their coffee.. I tried both.. .. I mean.. you cant taste it.. its just that oily film feel.. am I making since? .. oh and I like to cook my eggs in it too ..I put some on my face today.. I will continue to do that as well.. see what happens..I only get acne the week before TOM shows up.. maybe it helps wrinkles?..lol. I am getting a few "laugh" lines..lol

Oh if you decide to do the yocheese.. its great.. but again.. one of those things I have to be in control over.. I didn't make the cheese cake last night.. .. I had 1 things of cream cheese left.. so I told myself I needed more taco soup.. so that's what I did.. made more this am..
now is that control or not..

ok I better get to reading.. love yaaa

Hey Candy!
How were those chicken muffins? I'm thinking about making some!
How do you cook your turkey breast in the crockpot? Like what seasonings do you use? I have a turkey breast in our big freezer and usually we make a brine and soak it overnight, then roast it but it's gettin hot temperature wise and I really don't want to use the oven...know what I mean?
Have a great night...

Hey Monet ... I would rather have the Taco Soup too. So good choice.

Twinkerbell ... I will post in your journal.

Well, I am only able to do abut 20 mins on the Gazelle still ... BUT my mileage has increased. When I started out it was right at a mile in 20 mins, and that was with 2 different sessions. Now I can do a full 20 mins at once. I gazelled right about 24 mins last night and 1.38 miles. So much better than doing nothing. Still having issues with my feet going numb. I can't really tell what part of my body I am working, if any. But, it feels like it's def. some cardio as my heart rate gets up.

Randy thinks I was trying to knock him off .

He had some of the quiche I made for his lunch yesterday. He said he was eating it and there was a huge piece of metal in it. That is so odd. I cooked the ground beef myself and I mixed it all up and poured it in the dish to bake. I didn't see anything thing. Very odd.
