28lbs lighter

Hello everyone,

My name is Octavia, and I joined low carb friends maybe back in October but never really participated in posting anything thus far. But I want to just say that I am on this journey for LIFE! I AM MOVING FORWARD.
I have some of the same issues that I have read thus far about the challenges of being over weight, I have been ashamed to say or tell anybody about how much I weighed or even what size I wore. But no more!

This is my journey to a new way of living and a new way of being.

I am a Doer and not just a Hearer. I give all the GLORY and Praise to God for keeping me and giving me the strength to continue this journey.

I started out in summer of 2006 weighing in at 354
I started Low Carb maybe back in late October of 2006. Maybe around late mid Dec. 06. I got down to about 326 1/2 and It got a little ruff around the Holidays and also during my Time of the month and that's when I eat, eat and then eat some more. During my TOM I always gain (assuming water weight) but then by the end of the cycle the weight is gone. During that Holiday challenge I am amazed that I really didn't gain weight but I did loose that 1/2 lb finally. So now I am back on point and on track. So know I am down to 326 lbs and I treated myself to my first pair of denim JEANS in I don't know how many years, but I feel good about my accomplishements and I find that I feel very comfortable wearing pants.

I will be 41 on January 12th and finally I am getting comfortable with who I am.
