Yes, yes, yes, I have made it into the 130s at last. 139.5 this morning and a 1/2 inch off my waist just this week.

Thanks Lisa, you have helped so much.

Gym today but tomorrow I have to take my SIL to the hospital where they live for a pre assessment before he has a bunion operated on next week. He has quite severe learning difficulties but looks and sounds quite normal. Leaving home before 8 for a 1.5 hour drive.

I am so concerned that with all the different people who will see him over the time he is in hospital this will be forgotten and he will be confused/frightened. His twin sister, who is fine, is going to be around next week so I must stop worrying. Hah!

The Hospital trip went well today, I feel more confident that it should all go well for him.

Early start so no breakfast, I just don't want food until after 10 am.

Caesar salad, no croutons, for lunch along with a diet coke. Just enjoyed the second half of the one minute muffin I made yesterday. If I get hungry later I will have the savoury muffin (cooked 'bread' style) with cheese and salami, under the grill. Pasta for DH.

Glad the hospital trip went well.

Have you heard from Tova? I wonder how she is doing?

How do you make the savoury muffins?

Keep up the good work! Can't wait to hear the stats today!

I made the savoury muffin with one egg, 1/3 cup ground flax seed, 1T flax seed, 1T parmesan, 1/2t baking powder, some mixed herbs and salt and pepper, instead of butter I used some mayo, about 2T I would guess. All mixed up together then spread in a rectangular plastic container, 2 mins in my microwave, (they are all different, so watch it).

I let it cool then I grilled it 'til really brown, topped it with cheese and grilled it til bubbling. Think you say broiled!

No word from Tova. I do hope she pops up again, I am going to Austria in January, but not to Vienna!

Had a nice chicken in creamy mushroom sauce while out tonight, hope it didn't have hidden carbs, also 1 glass of red wine. Don't expect to see a loss for a couple of days now.

Happy day! 1 more pound gone, forever.

Had a lazy morning with the newspapers then went to an excellent one man play this afternoon. We are so lucky here in London, we have such wonderful theatre all around us. DH and I met doing amateur theatre and we try to see a lot.

Made a chilli this evening, ate rather a lot of it! Cabbage and salad too.

Down again this morning! Had a slight stomach issue which may have helped, sorry TMI.

Should have had been at the cinema this afternoon but the roads were so snarled up that we missed the show. Went to Tootsies instead where I intended to order chicken wings in Frank's hot sauce. They have become Tootsies/Dexters and have taken in off the menu!!!!! So I had a bunless burger which was okay I suppose.

I am eating so much less as a rule, and interestingly so often I am following IE.

Today, I ate no breakfast, not hungry. Went for a walk to nearby shops, ate a very nice ham, cheese and mushroom omelette and a diet coke. Probably a 3 eggs.

Had my nails done, did some shopping came home and had some neighbours in for a drink.

2 glasses of wine, some parma ham and salami crisps. Cooked fish, mash and broccoli for DH. I ate some broccoli with a left over grated cheese on top.

In the past I would have eaten a main meal along with DH, but, not hungry so only ate the greens, for my health.

Happy Cindy.

Bit low today. Woke up with a nasty runny tummy and feeling a bit grim. Needless to say I felt obliged to get on the scales to find I was UP to 139. How annoying is that.

Better now, but so cross I couldn't do my Combat class this morning and I love it. May do Step tomorrow, who knows, then I won't be able to do anything on Wednesday as I will be visiting my handicapped daughter and her DH who is recuperating from his operation. Thursday the gym has my least favourite classes which takes me round to Friday, with hardly any exercise!!!!

You will do great this week Cindy. Sorry you aren't feeling well. Bummer about your exercise classes. Can you walk on Wednesday? I love walking!

It's probably just water weight for the up.

At last I made it to the gym for an aerobics class, I intended to go to a toning class yesterday but I realised that things in the house were getting away from me so I did good work at home, including wrapping what Xmas gifts I have.

Last night I had friend over to discuss our New Year celebrations. We have a moving dinner party around the neighbours every year, black tie, champagne, the works. This is our 10th year, we started in 1999 for the millennium when no one was sure what to do. It is just great.

As a result I drank a few glasses of wine. More than the 2 that I have been calling tops lately. I saw a happy drop of .25lb on the scale this morning, but know that it will be because the alcohol dehydrated me. Still it looked nice, I am stuck at present. Would be nice if it stays off.

Egg mayo for bunch, then some double cream and cream cheese flavoured with some coffee and splenda just now, with a cup of tea. Came in from shopping feeling hungry, so that just hit the spot, it was just a little bit.

Cooking chicken tonight with roast turnips and cabbage and leeks in butter. Mashed potato for DH. Better get it in the oven now!

I received the Atkins 72 book I ordered from Amazon. I gave mine to charity about 10 years ago! lol

Cindy - I just had double cheese burger sans the bun from Mickey D's and it reminded me of Vienna. I wonder how she is doing?

Good job getting all of your presents! I just started. At least I'm finally getting in the mood. I found these single flower and stem poinsettias. They are so cute.

I wonder about Vienna often, funny how we become fond of each other here isn't it? I hate it when one of us 'disappears'.

I am looking forward to the packing tomorrow, I shall put on some Christmas music and sing along... I will undoubtedly find I still need a few things, but I still have time. It is just that the roads and stores are so busy now, I hate that.

Induction for me for the next 2 or 3 days, to recover from my blini mistake!

Well, I don't know what counts as a trip for me! With two full time homes...

I am off to the Devon house on Monday, back on Saturday, then leaving for Christmas in France on 22nd, returning on 28th.

What are blinis? Potato pancakes? I love potato pancakes. They are definitely my down fall if DH makes them.
