Okay 132 this morning, not shattering but not good.

Decaf coffee with double cream, bacon and eggs.

2 more coffees the same through the day.

Some tuna mayo at Tesco, they sell it to go with their baked potatoes, in separate little pots. Diet Coke.

1 hard boiled egg dipped in mayo.

Dinner will roast chicken with weighed out spinach!!!!!

Sugar free lemon lime flavoured Volvic water which I am addicted to!

Half hour walk in the park. Hope there is no snow tomorrow, as I want to get to the gym for a Body Pump class at 10.15. Then I will get on the treadmill for 30 minutes!!!!!!

Wondering if I will have to get up in the night to have a pee, always a sign that ketosis is coming!

Bit of die o'ria today, another sign for me. I know, TMI!

I really enjoyed the chicken skin tonight, I added some fresh thyme and lemon juice. When I am doing maintainance I don't eat quite as much fat, so the skin (ate DH's too) was a real treat.

In ketosis!

Got to the gym, after a 4 week break, for Body Pump and was delighted to find that it is now followed by 45 minutes aerobics class with my favourite instructor, sadly she is no longer teach the Friday class she used to.

Home and ate 3 HB eggs with mayo, off to have a bath now, hopefully it will help my poor muscles cope with the shock of exercising again after so long.

After the bath I was so exhausted that I went to bed for an hour and a half!

I then had a Tesco LC choc shake.

Tonight I had mince on top of finely sliced cabbage and cheese melted on top. Drinking my water.

Had a coffee with cream this morning.

Nutters like you we need Quizz!

I have seen some of your posts on other threads and I know you are an amazing woman. Remember you don't have to say anything much to start with. It can be as open or not just as you wish. The point is to focus and keep up with your own goals.

Just back from a great aerobics class, drunk a Tescos strawberry shake, 1.5 net carbs, now going to shower and take down the Xmas decorations.

Should go out later to do various errands but I am hoping DH will go!

No salad after all, I found a few bits of tired asparagus left over from New Year's Eve and a had a bit of sweetheart cabbage. I love it and it was hard not to eat more so I piled DH's plate high with it!

Drinking my water, also remembered my supplements today, I am so bad at that.

Inducting so watching every vegetable carb. I love veg and can easily overdo it. I am used to maintainance where I ignore almost all veggies. I am normally on 60 or more carbs a day. Mostly from vegetables, milk and a few berries, oh and did I mention wine?

I am off that too!

The bigger stores still carry their own brand low carb shakes, 1.5 grams each, chocolate and strawberry. They are near the vitamins, supplements and other slimming stuff, you know the dreaded Slimfast stuff.

They have Advantage bars sometimes too though I have to avoid those most of the time.

A happy moment this morning with a 3.5 drop on the scales. I won't change my stats til tomorrow though just incase.

Another day without drinking, it is probably the toughest thing for me. I am so used to a couple of glasses of wine in the evenings. Happily I like the lemon lime water.

Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon at about 1 pm at the cafe in the Lakeland store. Also two coffees with proper cream. Does anyone know if *$s or Costa have unsweetened real cream over here. Don't think I have ever asked.

Off to cook 2 fillet steaks now, we like them practically walking so it doesn't take long. I shall have a salad dressed with garlic oil and a bit of Cardini's Original Ceasar too. I absolutely love it.

I am a bit stiff today after 2 days of fairly intense exercise. So I must move a bit tomorrow.

We will go for a long walk on Hampstead Heath which is right outside our door, we are so lucky. Then lunch out somewhere in Hampstead.

In the evening we are having supper with friends and then going to the first night of Michael Feinstien's show. Will I be able to say no to wine or even champagne, which is quite likely to be offered. Let's see what the scales say in the morning shall we.

I am great Quizz, and how are you?

I have to fill in the journal, so here goes.

Body Pump this morning, followed by all those niggly jobs like taking the Xmas cards to the recycling boxes in TK Max. Post office visit, charity shop drop off, generla sort out kind of day.

2 shakes.

Then friends in for a drink this evening, I cooked some Haloumi cheese which I love and so does everyone I serve it too.

Then we had mackerel, grilled with mixed veggies, potatoes for DH of course. Lots of water. As I said elsewhere...fishy burps!

Not a great day in induction terms! I was at a friends talking intensely with a group o ladies and blindly helped myself to the passing smoked salmon on brown bread! 4 times at least! I go to a book club without the book once a month, we talk serious talk.

Out tonight with DH to dinner but I will be in serious control of my eating.

It is extraordinary how quickly I drop out of ketosis. Tummy is rumbling around screaming for food, preferably carbs already.

Well done on your loss Quizz. I did fine this evening, smoked haddock with a poached egg on top for starters followed by lemon chicken with cabbage and a tiny bit of roast parsnip. (Which I ate.)

To Southend today to visit DD.

We did all kinds of paperwork stuff and organised her TV licence to be paid by Direct Debit. She is coping so well.

Lunch in a nice little place where I chose a cheese and mushroom omelette, rather good, and a salad with Diet coke.

This afternoon she had her first mammogram and was naturally a bit apprehensive but it was only a bit uncomfortable as I had explained to her. You, Quizz, know better than most how important it is that she should have check ups regularly. They were so good with her, really explaining everything carefully and clearly and helping her to relax.

Home and pork with a dull salad and an avocado tonight.
