Cindy, you could've done a lot worse! It's amusing how we beat ourselves up over what we eat but it was all still LC. Melba toast, pork rinds, LC choccies - all LC. Could have been biscuits, crisps and proper chocolate - right?

Sometimes when I've gone overboard with too much cheese, nuts, LC choc or wine (it's ALWAYS a combination of these four!), I just think well, it could have been Ben & Jerry's!

Well done on reaching 125 1/4!

Tina

Thanks Tina, I guess it really isn't too bad is it?

Lovely grilled chicken and lamb with a salad tonight in a restaurant just opposite the theatre. Red wine was taken.

Great play too, very strong acting but very wordy, typical Stoppard.

I love the theatre and so does my DH.

Sorry I am such a bad influence Vienna....leading the young astray.

I used to get to see plays and musicals all the time as my brother and BIL were both actors. Nothing they ever got paid for and now they both have families so had to get "real" jobs to pay the bills. Plus, living in Minneapolis we always got the touring Broadway shows downtown so it was great to see those - RENT (it's getting ridiculous how many times I've seen this!), The Producers, Buddy, etc. I really miss it as it is so much fun. I used to see a lot of rock concerts too. So hard now with my kids being so small. Hopefully one or both of them will have drama/musical interests as my DH really doesn't. So far the girls love it when we sing songs together and I usually have BBC2 on because I love the music they play and the girls enjoy the oldies too.

No, this is not the time.

Have had 2 days of hell after the pump class, just goes to show how badly I needed it.

Ate on plan yesterday, 2 bunless burgers with salad and mayo, a couple of cheese slices made into crisps before bed. Wine!!!

Today an Atkins Bar so far. Tonight I am out to another party for the 85 year old, theme, Cocktail Party, wear what you feel is cocktail wear!

I am wearing a short black velvet dress and looong black satin gloves.

That is the easy bit, I doubt I will resist the Margaritas. lol

Thought I checked in yesterday. All I ate was a Thai curry but I know it was packed with sugar.

So today I started K/E. Scales were right up to 128 this morning, something had to give.

B 2 eggs scrambled
L 1 can tuna in water with 1 tsp mayo and some vinegar
D 1 chicken breast
snack smoked venison

3 litres water

Day 3 of K/E and 3lbs down to 124lbs. Very happy.

Made it to a Pump class this morning I am determined to keep up with my weight training this year. I really slacked off last year and it is important at my age.

B scrambled eggs (3) greedy me, but it was after the gym.
Snack ham
D lamb shank, I can smell it cooking now, mmmmm.

Day 5, lost a 1/2 yesterday but it was back there today.

Still I had eaten rather a lot of chicken. All day.

Today I've had 6 eggs and a tin of tuna. Drinking my water...so let's hope it moves tomorrow.

I am out tomorrow evening and plan to have a couple of glasses of wine.

Been a while since I wrote. Had a great end to last week reaching 123.5 but I was back up to 126 after a very naughty weekend.

Too much wine, 2 potatoes and then just way to much food on the Sunday as I dealt with being out of ketosis again. It was all real Atkins though.

Still ate too much yesterday although it was all clean. Today though I am in control again and have only had a sweet, 2 egg omelette and a fillet steak. Did hope I wouldn't finish the steak but it was just too good.

Will weigh again tomorrow. Fingers crossed I will have dropped back to 124 again.

Yay, back to 123.5 this morning.

Chicken all day and a Morning Shine bar, 2 carbs.

Drinking my water and a little black tea. I do allow myself 1 decaff coffee with a drop of skimmed milk. I usually keep a really low carb Soya milk in but haven't got around to getting any in since we arrived in Devon.

Yesterday a piece of venison and some sardines along with a little red wine.

This morning I had 2 eggs and tonight will be fish again.

I am feeling so much slimmer. It is like a different me in bed at night. Bones in new places, so exciting.

I am a little hesitant to stop the K/E but I must do it soon as I am virtually at goal and need to ease myself into OWL/maintainence.

Enjoyed my fish a bit earlier than usual as we were going to a Pantomime with my FILf. Came home and ate a load of ribs that I had cooked for today!

Still not to worry. The idea was to have them for the first day back on straight Atkins, rather than K/E, so I started before midnight not after...who cares.

The scales are regularly showing 123/4 now and so I will change my details today to 124 and see how it goes.

Steadied out at about 123 most of this week, knew that the whoosh was too good to last!

Have been pretty good on food lately but the nuts have been a problem. Well my willpower really, the nuts are innocent!

Had my long awaited running lesson today and it was a revelation! It was so worthwhile and I am inspired to get back to my C25K. She taught me so much it was astonishing.

Off tomorrow to put it to use.

Did a fit ball class yesterday and another Body Pump class today. Gosh is it really a week since I wrote in here?

At least I am keeping up with my weights this year! Really I guess I am pleased with myself. Since I started this journal I have lost weight, inches and have kept my promise to work with weights. The running went on hold for good reasons and I feel excited about getting back to it now.

Altogether not bad.

Cindy, you really do well as far as fitness goes. I know it's something I've got to do too as even though I've lost a lot of weight, I still am really flabby in many areas and nothing is going to shift that but serious exercise. I keep saying when the weather gets better, yadda yadda yadda. I need to stop making excuses and do it!

Keep up the good work!

It is ages since I checked in.

Guess that means all is well. 122 -124 most days which is amazing.

I am eating less too, because I feel less hungry.

Have found the Boots LC shakes great for breakfast on the run.

Getting myself mentally prepared for my long trip away. I am not worried about the time I am in Australia as my daughter and I will support each other all the way. The time in Singapore and Bangkok is much more worrying.

I lived in S'pore and love so many of their special dishes. I will have to eat some of them and just work them off somehow.

Thailand also has such beautiful food. They use sugar a lot though. Problemo!

Felt really fat yesterday. The scales weren't showing it then but sure enough this morning I was up to 125 for the first time in months.

I had already decided to do a few days of meat and eggs so now it is definite.

Started the day with a chicken thigh.

What was good was trying on my summer clothes this morning before packing for OZ. Everything fits better than last year and one pair of black linen pants I bought 2 years ago in Majorca are just falling down. Shame, cos I love them.

Not a good end to the day. Wine and cashew nuts with friends!

Then 3 pieces of chicken and lots of water.

I am disappointed in myself. Nevermind, tomorrow is another day.

Well I have had a reasonably good week on meat and eggs and have been at the gym 3 times, going again the afternoon.

Not as impressed with the weight loss as I would like but my clothes are getting huge! My scales here in Devon weigh a pound and a bit up on my London ones. They are saying 124 so I guess I can call it 123.

Haven't been taking my psyllium husks so that could have something to do with it.

Easing up a bit this weekend and then back on board on Monday. Just a little wine and some cheese, not mad.

Had a lovely dinner yesterday of a few olives, baked fish and some beans, followed by cheese and an oatcake.

Lunch was some grilled cheese.

I did drink red wine, but I am allowed to drink I am not fat!

Got to the gym and did a great LBT class.

Egg mayo for breakfast, then a Skate wing for lunch with just a few little chips. Some cheese for dessert.

White wine too. Now just water for the rest of the day.

Up 2 lb this morning!

Body Combat at the gym.

A tiny tuna salad at the garden centre. A cappuccino. 3 lices of cold beef and some egg mayo tonight. 1 Diet Coke.

Not doing well on the water. Except what I drink at the gym...

Chose not to weight today.

Body Pump class followed by a step class. Then home and 3 hours of gardening.

A shake for breakfast.

Cheese and some chorizo sausage for lunch.

Antipasto and swordfish steak and salad for dinner along with my half of a bottle of red wine and some dessert wine!

I may not weigh tomorrow either!

Bacon, egg, mushroom, tomato and some sausage. Sainsburys brunch with our the chips and beans. The sausages were a no no and not worth it. but I am having a hungry day.

S Egg and bacon mayo.

D Wild salmon and broccolli.

S Not 1 but 2 plain yoghurt with splenda and cocoa.

Did an aerobics class and gardened and cleaned the shed, but don't know why I am having an 'eating' day.

Well well another year gone.

I made it to 122 for my birthday and generally I maintained at 124/6 throughout the year.

Today I have to take control again after some serious indulgence over the past 10 days.

I will weigh in tomorrow morning and I am going into serious induction. I am quite looking forward to it.

Taking daughter and husband home tomorrow so gym on Thursday!
