It is amazing what you've achieved with JUDDD. If I find myself stuck again, or in need of a change, I will definitely keep it in the back of mind. I'm glad you were the guinea pig to give it a go! How did you decide to do it? Have you read the book?

I did buy the book but I had been following it for 2 or 3 weeks by the time I ordered it. Got all the info from here and the Alternate Day Diet site.

I had seen a number of others move their final pounds with JUDDD and just felt I needed something new if I was to get there.

Gracie, thank you. It seems to just suit me so well. I really look forward to the variety of food I can eat on my UDs, after years of eating LC. But on the DDs I enjoy the challenge of using my calories on things I enjoy too.

124.4 after my UD yesterday.

Good DD today, soya latte, half a toasted ham and cheese sandwich during the day.

This evening, 1.5 glasses of champagne, 6 cashew nuts (54 cals!), shiritake noodles, arabiata sauce with peppers and sundried tomatoes.

Total 527 calories.

Yesterday I saw 123 lbs exactly. So amazing.

Today I was 124 after a wonderful UD enjoying so amazing Indian food.

My DD today turned into a Medium Day as I had some wine with a friend at lunch time and a few potato crisps too.

Not worried, as I am so confident eating this way.

I am in Devon now and using my other scale which I used to hate, but yesterday I weighed in at 124.2 and today after yesterday's UD I was 124.8. Don't have any problem with scales that show those numbers, LOL.

I enjoyed a traditional roast beef lunch yesterday and a bowl of soup with toast in the evening.

DD today and I made up some porridge after the gym, then had a soya latte while I was out shopping. This evening I had some Alaskan wild salmon, mixed vegetables and a little boiled potato. Added a a tiny bit of tartare sauce and finished off with a WW vanilla yogurt.

Can this be as easy as it seems?????

That WW yogurt was SUCH a mistake. I am now gassy and it tastes so 'artificial' is my mouth still. Yuck.

Another good weigh in, 124.4 after a day of overindulgence. My cals were probably 2000 yesterday which is 350 more that I really should have, although I average between 1600 and 1800 as I am maintaining really.

I had a good Zumba class, I have missed too many lately. Then had a soys latte and a small ham and cheese toastie. I peeled off the top slice of the bread and left it!

Spent the afternoon cooking ahead for Xmas. One of the guests cannot have gluten so everything has to be done pretty much from scratch. It is amazing how many things have gluten in them. Thank goodness for decent gluten free bread for the stuffings.

I love Xmas and enjoy all the cooking, this year it is especially pleasurable as I haven't got to make extra LC options. I so love JUDDD.

After my DD I was 124.2, then after yesterdays UD 124.6. This is so easy. Maintaining and eating wonderful food.

And happily I find the DDs empowering.

I, too remember that saying from years back, and it's always a good reminder especially when I see so many at my gym in January trying to make good from indulging in their Holiday treats.

They try so hard to make a New Year's resolution come to fruition only to drop out by March.

Then, back to square one!

After a very indulgent UD yesterday the scales read 123.8 this morning! I forget to weigh in yesterday which means I must be very happy with my size.

I am wearing a pair of jeans I had forgotten about, hidden at the bottom of a seldom opened drawer. They are almost loose and I love them.

I had a great DD today. Only two soya coffees until this evening, when I had a delicious Mexican influenced soup. 360 or so calories for the whole day. I love the feeling of control the DDs give me.

Looking forward to tomorrow, the freedom of an Up Day.

What is happening?

Excellent DD yesterday and I weight in at a new low of 122.4 today. I don't believe that I can be losing like this and eating such wonderful food on my Up Days.

Have you changed your numbers at all or did you keep the same numbers you started with? I believe your UDs were 1650 or thereabouts?

Well that has been fun! Up to to 126.6 yesterday morning and I think I have had 4 UDs.

I am not at all concerned for some reason. I have such faith is JUDDD and am looking forward to tomorrow's DD as usual. It will be interesting to see how quickly my weight drops again.

However the truth is that I have been below goal and 126 is my goal!
