Hello.

Life is going good. I have been keeping myself busy outside all day cleaning up twigs and burning brush and some mowing. I am trying my best to keep myself busy around here so I'm not running back and forth into town burning gas and wasting money. There is plenty to do so that's good.

Food today has been a few peices of bacon cheese this morning, some hamburger, and I did get into the peanut butter some. I'm inside to eat then I'll be right back outside to get some more work done. My wife, kids and I are all going fishing tonight then Ryan (youngest) has a t-ball game tomorrow.

It's beautiful outside. I not for this strike stuff but man, it's sure nice to be outside in the fresh air doing stuff in the back yard. I am ready to go back to work. I know that I'll run out of stuff to do around here soon and then I'll be board. I have to have something to do or I'll go nuts.
Alright, gotta go.

Take care,
Phil

Sorry you're bored. Come to my house. We were suddenly just overtaken with ants and I breathed in WAY too much ant killer. I thought I was going to smother ....

I just saw a video of myself in the spring/summer of 2004. It was depressing. I was in the basement getting ready to lift, in the middle of, or had just finished. My arms had some nice definition to them. My triceps were awesome.

Kind of makes me sick...

Kind of makes me want to go set up the weight bench....

Good morning.

Krissy, Monet, and Candy.....Thank you! Seeing that video really messed me up last night. I was like a beat pup all night. I am doing lots better today. I did manage to stay away from food that I shouldn't have so that's good.

T-ball, yard work and fishing planned today. What are you all doing?

Thanks again ladies!
Take care,
Phil

Plans have not been made yet ... but there are some pending.
Good job on your eating.

Don't beat yourself up, put some action to your thoughts.

Heck I was good at IHOP, DH wasn't. He gets to ONEderland, and I don't budge the scales. But I am confident it wil happen. I think pre-planning and attitude are half the game.

Hello!

Ever been blessed? We were today. We all went to Ryan's T-ball game, which was fun BTW, and then to the store for a few things. We then picked up some worms for bait and headed home. We checked our mail and found that someone had sent a gift card to a local food store. No name, no address, no nothing! Not once have I complained about this strike to anyone. I have always told people that what ever happens, we were ready, which we are. I have always told people that my faith will see me through. What a nice thing to find in the mail. We still have no idea how much the card is worth and that really doesn't matter. Honestly, I told my wife that I would like to send it on to a friend of mine who has 3 kids and not as well prepaired as we are.

Fishing with the boys was, well let's just say that I didn't get much fishing done. But it was alot of fun anyway. We all caught fish and got plenty of sun. We didn't keep any as they were all pretty small compared to those monster steelhead the Krissy catches in Michigan.

WOE today was good. Eggs, bacon, and cheese this morning and then left over chicken from last night, grilled pork rib-eyes, a couple hotdogs and a hamburger. You know, the good stuff. Oh, yeah. I made a pitcher of iced tea, which is really hitting the spot right now!

Thanks for stopping by!

Take care,
Phil

What a wonderful blessing

We do have so much to be thankful for. It's awesome to look at the little things God does to take care of us, instead of taking them for granted.

Something about me, I am so dang indpendent that it isn't funny. I'll go a mile out of my way to do something myself. I do not like someone else taking care of me, but I'd be more then happy to help someone else. I just don't get it. When we opend up that gift card I felt kind of like I let my self and my family down and that we needed someone to help me. I appriciated it, I really do. It was really nice of someone to do for us but I was thinking "I have some of the finest corn fed beef in the nation in my freezer, what do I need this for?" Told you I was strange.

Well if you don't want it ... then pay it forward to me

Just kidding. It's just a pride thing ..... you already admitted it was a blessing. And being humbled isn't a bad thing sometimes.

hey Phil.. .. yep.. you got a blessing today.. and if you feel your family is cared for.. then yes.. pay it forward.. that's great.. I think its awesome that someone cares that much for you to worry.. you definitely have Angels around your parts.. ..

its also good you have Pride about taking care of your family.. there are so many men..AND women out there who don't.. so.. that's great hun !!..

I also know that with all that pride you have, you have a huge heart and if you and your family honestly needed that gift card.. you would swallow that pride and use it.. .. but you took care of business before hand and can now pass on the blessing.. Awesome you are !!..

oh and fishing with the boys.. I am sure it was a great time.. but as I have said many times in my almost 39 years.. I don;t care to fish with Kids.. .. don't get me wrong.. I WILL fish with the kids.. I just don't like it..lol.. and dh promised to take me.. without the kids.

I'll go with them as well.. but most likely will be taking pictures of them..lol.. the lil guy can't keep a hook in the water for no time.. cast and reel cast and reel.. ... drives me nuts..

have sweet dreams tonight my friend..

Hi!

It was a pretty busy day today. I went to church this morning and then went and did my time on the picket line. Just as our time was up a thunderstorm rolled in.

Eating was good! Left over pork rib-eye, cheese burger, and a hotdog for breakfast. I had a hotdog and cheeseburger for lunch and a taco salad for supper. Lots of water too.

Hope all is well with you! Thanks for stopping by.

Take care,
Phil

Hello!
Let's see...for breakfast I had smoked almonds. Lunch was 2 cheese burgers and some bacon cheese. Not sure what I'll have for supper tonight, but it'll be good! Ryan has a T-ball game tonight so I'll be eating late.

Hope all is well with you!
Take care,
Phil

Hi!
T-ball was fun. I ended up eating at around 8:00 tonight but that's fine. m I raided the freezer and found a swiss steak, whatever that is. It was beef and that means I can grill it! It was very tasty!

Big plans tomorrow. Yard work...if it isn't raining. If it's raining, I'll go nuts!

Thanks for stopping!

Hello!

Just remembered that I had not posted today. Breakfast today was 1 pc. of lunchmeat and a 1 pc. of cheese. Lunch was 2 cheeseburgers ans supper was some scrambled eggs and bacon. I'm a wee bit hungry right now so I might grab something soon.

We went to our youngest's school program tonight. During the 1st. grade program, our oldest started booing. I wanted to smack him right there. We have some storms getting to roll thru here in the next 20 minutes or so, so that will be cool. It won't be cool tomorrow though. 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms all day...& I'll be on the picket line. Most likely in my blazer.

Gotta go for now.

Thank you for stopping by!

Take care,
Phil
