hey man, i done my homework!

for the whole week i logged everything i ate with both calories and carbs so i would know how much and of what i'm eating.

heck i'm wanting to go fishing now too. steelheading is HARD WORK!

and i most likely will get my bow out to do some turkey hunting in may. but tim said something about wanting to buy me a new gun...

Ok...my plan for total weight domination starts tomorrow morning. I had a good look at my fat belly tonight as I walked by a mirror. It's gotta go. I am embarrased of what I have become. So starting tomorrow I am on lower carb. I'm going to try keep my veggies around.

301 this morning. So far so good. I drank lots of water today but I also drank lots of diet mt. dew and diet pepsi. It was a boring day and everyone was winding down for the weekend.

Tomorrow we vote on our union contract. This might get interesting. If we go on strike, I'll ditch low carb and try something a little cheeper. Will see.

I bought my hunting and fishing license today. $43.50. Talk about a rip off. I need to get off my lazy butt and do some fishing this year. Maybe I'll get my money's worth next week if there is a strike. Half a dozen bass, catfish and a 25 pound turkey will make a nice meal for a few days.

On top of that, if it ever warms up around here I can go look for some mushrooms. I hate eating them but I like looking for them.

Well, it's official...we're on strike. They offered almost double our insurance cost and our wages would only increase 90 cents over the next 5 years. Thats an .18 cent raise per hour per year for the next 5 years. Don't get me wrong...I like to work and am more than willing to work, but don't slap me in the face. Our last contract was way better. The company has been doing very well and just bought out another company. But .90 cents over the next 5 years? Have fun running the factory boys! I'm going fishing! Turkey season opens next Thursday or Friday.

Hey!

I was on the pickket line at 6:30 this morning, got vollenteered for an 8 hr. strike duty (at 8:00AM) that lasted untill 4:00PM. Came home, picked up the boys and took one to T-ball, came home and ate, and returned to town to see how the strike line was going. We were brought all kinds of food today. Pizza, cheese burgers, Taco Johns. You name it we had it, and I ate it. Tommorw is another day so I'll try again. Sounds like the company wants to meet with the union tomorrow morning. I hope that's good news.

Still on strike here in S.E. Iowa. I haven't had the chance to go fishing yet but I have got some yard work done. I'm tring to make as few trips as possible to town and when I do, I get everything I need. I have heard no news for a couple days so I don't know if the company and union are talking or not I'll be on the picket lines tomorrow all day. Turkey season opens Friday morning. Still no agreement between company and union. Today was a good day and a bad day both. I was on the picket line with a guy that just runs his mouth non stop. The company hired a couple rent-a-cops to watch over their property. The 2 that were there today happened to be black....in my mind, no big deal. Skin color doesn't matter to me. A guy that was on the line started making racial comments toward them. I thought that they should of called the law and had him thrown in jail.

Eating was good today. I stayed away from the cookies on the picket line and had hotdogs for lunch. Super was 2 rib-eye steaks.

I love having a freezer full of beef! Trouble is is that I forgot to weigh myself this morning. I'll have to jump on the scale tomorrow morning.
