~~Dreams Being Accountalbe to herself~~

Ok. This is the second thread in the journals section that I have started. The first time I failed, so now I'm starting a new one. I told myself that I needed to complete one full week before starting a new thread because I am notorious for doing good 3-4 days and then blowing it. So now, after a full week done, I feel in control.

I will post each day with how many days I've done and how much I've lost. If I have time I will post menus. If I don't make it on a day, I will recap.

I am currently following the Kimmer Experiment woe. After, I don't know when that is, but after...I will phase into Atkins 72 Induction. I plan to incorporate aerobic exercise into my plan once the new year starts. That is my resolution. Exercise atleast five days a week.

7 days complete on the K/E, 14 pounds gone.

Wow I made it through xmas dinner. Cooking it, serving it, etc. And dessert. I only ate ham and a few olives and a ton of water. I'm so proud of myself for not caving. I'm patting myself on the back.

So far today, one half can of tuna and a 20oz hot tea with two splenda.

Dinner will be one piece of steak. Tons of water. And that'll be it.

Hope to see a loss over night.

Thanks Mindi. Had my steak for dinner and now I'm just catching up on chorese. Hope to be in bed by 10 or 11 to avoid hunger later. Nite time is the worst.

I know what you mean. I have been eating nonstop since I got home. I need to do the Oprah thing and not eat past 8 pm.

I need to hit the gym too..

I'm going to start exercising for my NY resolution. I might actually start sooner. I have the itch to do so now. I usually do the WATP tapes. I love them and they're great aerobic exercise.

Well today is 9 days complete, down 16lbs.

Had a couple pieces of lunch meat for breakfast and now I"m enjoying a big cup of hot tea with two splenda. Needed a break from the coffee.

Just had bacon and eggs for dinner.

If I'm hungry later, I'll have a few pieces of lunch meat but I'm going to try not to eat anymore. I want to make it a habit not to eat after 5:30pm. We'll see.

awesome job Chrissy!

I got this crazy notion that I was going to bring training to run a 5K sometime this summer. I figure if I begin training now, then I should be in considerable shape to run 3 miles. Not sure how it will go though. Even when I was in high school and playing field hockey, I could barely run. I need to get my butt into the gym though

Thanks Mandi.

I know how ya feel about the gym. It just isn't feasible with me being able to do so since I have my daughter and I'm a single parent. That's why I like the WATP dvd's. I can do them in the comfort of my home. Plus it's not a chore to have to get in the car, go to the gym, etc. Maybe home exercise would be better for ya. I am sure you can get in shape by summer!

I was thinking about picking up the Biggest Loser DVD(s). I hear the workouts are pretty good. Plus I watched the show religiously and can relate to the people leading the workouts. who knows!

What is WATP?

It's Walk away the pounds. There's a variety of them....they last about 30-45 minutes. I used to do the regular WATP and loved it but got bored. Now I have the WATP walk and kick. It's a good workout believe it or not. I am always sweating after and feel great.

10 days complete, 18 pounds gone. I will definitely make my 20lbs gone in 2 weeks mark. Very happy about that.

Breakfast = 3 pieces of bacon, 20oz hot tea with two splendas.

I will probably skip lunch because I have a lot of work to do. But dinner will be crab. YUM. I am going to splurge and have drawn butter with it but it's no big deal.

Patting myself on the back for my progress and willpower. Something I lacked the hundred times before that I've tried to get my eating act together.

No. My stats aren't accurate. Atleast the current weight isnt...but I'm not too far off from that. I will definitely start updating once I get below 200.

You are doing awesome!

I'm feel the same way...there is a gym less than a mile from my house, but I would much rather pop in a DVD and work out in the privacy of my own den. I have WATP Walk & Kick, but I can't say that I've ever used it... I may have to blow the dust off of it and give it a try!

Are you going to say on the KE after the 2 weeks are up?

I just noticed your siggy...you & my future SIL would be great friends...he is a die-hard Eagles fan. He currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, but he was born & raised in Moylan right outside of Philly... so we get out share of Eagles football when he comes to visit!

Heidi, Walk and Kick is great! My favorite of the WATPS. Try it, you will like it!

Yes, once you're an Eagles fan...........always an Eagles fan no matter where ya go!!!

I plan to do the K/E for another six weeks or so. I did it for 8 weeks last year....so I'm aiming for 8 weeks again. But it's not set in stone. I will listen to my body and stop the K/E when it tells me to.

Well I went to dinner but didn't go to the crab place as planned. I had six pieces of peel n eat shrimp and a plain burger off the bun. Only ate half the burger. I splurged and had a diet coke with it.

Thanks Suna for such kind words.

Mandi you are too cute.

11 days complete, down 19 pounds. I am sooo gonna make my 20lbs gone in 2 weeks! Very proud of me.

No breakfast today because the ketosis is enough to kill me. Food is disgusting right now. I am sippin a hot tea with splenda and I plan to eat a good sized lunch today. Some chicken steak with pepperoni.

Hmmmm I think so but don't know for sure. I just prefer not to. I always feel like I lose better without it. Plus, I'll admit...it can trigger some cravings for me....so it's best to stay away and have a couple diet drinks a week. Otherwise it's all water and hot tea or coffee for me.

ok I just read the "rules" for journals. apparently, we aren't really supposed to be posting in other people's journals other than words of encouragement. Feel free to kick me out and/or report me to the Mods at anytime
