I'm So Excited!

I can't stand it... that four letter word that has plagued me most of my life... D I E T! But, there's a new way just beyond the horizon. On January 2nd of 2007, I'm re-inducting into the Atkins plan. And I have to tell you, I'm really excited! I've never felt this way about a weight loss plan before... even when I was Atkins'ing a few years ago. I know the plan works... I've seen it work for me and so many of my friends here.

Yes sir, January 2nd is a new day... a new year... a new way of life. I'm sloughing off all those negative thoughts, images, and people who have really hindered my personal growth. With God, family, and LC Friends, I shall succeed!

Congratulations on tatkinng the steps to get healthy! YOu can do this! Keep journaling until then, Im sure you will find out lots about yourself and lots of people here have so many good tips and ideas. You are gonna be so smokin come summer!

You definately can do this! Attitude is a huge part of being successful, and your positive attitude will serve you well. I'm with you, I hate the word 'diet', so I just plain don't use it in connection with how I'm eating. LOL.

You'll do great!

Well... I still trucking along until my official "launch" date of January 2nd. And, I have to say, I'm proud of myself. I've been making the holiday treats and baking all the traditional christmas goodies... BUT... even thought I don't officially begin until january, I've not eaten any of that stuff! Also, I've been cutting my portion sizes and have quick drinking the sodas. <pattin' myself on the back!>

Wow you are showing control BEFORE you've even started ..... WTG! You sound so committed and I know you are going to succeed!

I found that coming here daily to post and read helped me tremendously. I couldn't eat when my hands were on the keyboard for hours.
