Sherry's low carbing...again!
Hopefully i will be able to keep up with journaling. I really hate starting and stopping. But anyway, I've done this before. About 2 years ago, i went on Atkins. I weighed around 230 lbs, dropped to 208 and stopped. I only regained 15 lbs of that. This is my new start. I've been on induction for about a week. Today will be my second week. So far i've lost about 6 lbs.

Well today was ordinary. I work as a cashier in the garden center at Lowe's. It was about 40 something this morning. It is forecasted to be about 26 in the morning, or so that is what folks have been telling me...we'll see....i'll dress warmly...WOW..I feel very worn out and tired...Workout was good, eating wasn't the best but at least i didn't totally lose my mind with all the good treats everyone feels they should share with coworkers.

Ok..i haven't posted in days. I've been at my boyfriend's house since last Tuesday up until today. I did manage to eat right up until Friday nite and Sat night. We hit up a casino buffet 2 days in a row. I weighed this morning..216!! HMM...i can imagine that i may have weighed less than before i had a hey-day at the buffet. So all i have to do now is get back on track. I managed to eat clean all day today, so i actually feel like i'm back on track.. Great!

Thanks RNW...i know we can do this!! I did pretty good today. I ate right and exercised with my new Turbo Jam dvds. I also discovered last night that i love baked chicken thighs in butter w/ crispy skin...lol..Chicken thighs are a pretty cheap food. I got a pack of them last night at wallyworld...i think there is 12 in each pack, for about $4.27. I can make about 6 meals with one pack of chicken thighs. I'm loving that. As a matter of fact, it is time to go and eat some before i go to bed.

Today exercise was a lil different...i played basketball. Me and the ole man decided to go to the gym for the express purposes of weight lifting. We ended up playing basketball. It was fun. I ran myself to death and did plenty interval work. Put in some shots as well. After that i treated myself to a low-carb smoothie from the smoothieking. I believe it was called the Gladiator, mixed in with kiwi and strawberry.

Today i went to work. An ordinary day. I am very proud of myself. I've been eating well and down another pound, working out as well.

Well this is why i started an online journal in a weight loss forum. Accountability....Yeah i screwed up starting Friday. I had some alcohol. And we all know what alcohol does. Yep it lowers inhibition. So i drank like 4 small styrofoam cups of malibu rum mixed with pineapple juice. It didnt end there. I also had shot of vodka. And it didn't end there...i had 4 small cinnamon rolls, 1 1/2 and totino's party pizza, 64 carbs a pizza. Then the next day i woke, went to KFC , had 2 snackers with cheese, a side of potato wedges and a sweet tea. DiDN'T stop there, i had a donut. For dinner i ate a whole box of macaroni cheese w/ hamburger meat added in and 16 oz minute maid strawberry passion juice. Then today, i had an enchilida...and i have decided the binge stops right there. I managed to actually work out last nite after i found out that i was up 5 pounds because of my binge...and now my new goal is to recover from it instead of a goal of 210 by Christmas. I'm sure alot of the weight is water because of the glycogen load in my body now. However, i won't give up. That was a set back and i will bounce back.

Well, it's been about a month since, i have blogged my progress or my digress...i wonder if i used that word right...but anyway..yeah...no low-carbing and no exercising...i hate this when i do this to myself...so tonite i will be officially back on Atkins w/ my next meal...hmm...try and try again.

Today i went to work...ate right and exercised...studied some..so i think i made all the goals i set myself this morning...great!
