Cienna's Probably Somewhat Boring Journal
I've decided to start a journal in the hopes that it will keep me committed and away from cheating. I've been struggling to lose the last 8 pounds for a few months now, but just seem to have lost motivation. I really want to get to that goal weight before I go home for Christmas on December 15th! I'm living in Japan in the moment and am going home for two weeks over the holidays. That date has been my goal for months now.
In any case, I seem to be back on track and have had a good couple of days. It really helps when I don't have anything off plan in the house. Particularly any bread-like items. Those seem to be my downfall at the moment, even the low carb variety. Anyway, here's what I ate today (I'm in Atkins Pre-Maintenance) B - egg salad (two hard-boiled eggs, mustard, mayo, and pepper) L - tandori chicken, 1 cup broccoli D - taco salad Snacks - 2 cups yogurt with splenda, 1 cup milk, 1 pear lots and lots of tea and water |

Hi Cienna
A good place to stay accountable - just remember that its for you - not necessarily for other people to post in - good luck with everything - can't wait till I hit pre-maintenance! |

Thanks Mint!! I'm sure it will go by in no time for you! I managed this long without a journal, but I think I could have lost the weight a lot faster if I had been held accountable. Hopefully this will be a useful tool in staying on track. |

Hmm, not sure if the site was down or what yesterday, but it wasn't working for me. So irritating! I'm completely addicted to reading posts in the main lobby. Luckily I stayed on track despite that and having to commute on my bike in the freezing rain.
B - egg salad L - tandori chicken, pear, one cup soy milk D - one pork chop, one cup broccoli Snacks - one small pack beef sticks, 2 cups plain yogurt with splenda Drinks - green tea, black tea, 2 cups coffee with milk and splenda, two bottles of water Will update again later with today's meals. And here's the food for today. -
B - egg salad L - tandori chicken, persimmon, one cup soy milk D - pork chop, one cup asparagus Snacks - 2 cups plain yogurt with splenda Drinks - 2 bottles water, green tea, Candy Cane Lane Tea (herbal), 2 cups coffee with milk and splenda Pretty much the same as yesterday since I had dinner food left over. So far I haven't had any off plan food which is good. I do feel like I need to add more veggies. |

Ack, forgot to update for yesterday. I had to stay late at school doing report cards and was then starving as a result when I got home at 7 pm. I'm going to have to start keeping some sort of snacks in my desk.
B - egg salad L - tandori chicken, pear, one cup soy milk D - grilled chicken salad, apple Snacks - 2 cups yogurt with splenda, one cup milk, more chicken Drinks - lots of water, 2 cups coffee with milk and splenda, 2 cups Candy Cane Lane tea (herbal) I'm going out for a Thanksgivingish dinner tonight. We'll see how that goes. I might sample a few things, but I'm going to try not to go crazy. |
