My poor garden. It's a double whammy because gardening is something that is very restorative to my mind, soul, and body. It's what gets me through those long, cold winters. I have hope that September and October will be filled with long days communing with nature in my backyard.

I spent an hour yesterday clipping a hedge (manually) and it really was a happy hour - although I had dreaded doing it. Things do start to look better pretty quickly when you start.

I hope you will be out there soon!

I am here to say that I feel

Terrific

Incredible

Fantastic

Awesome!!

I.cannot.believe.it!!!!! What I've read about Armour is truuuuueeeeee!!!!!! Praise the Lord!!!!

Aaaaannnnndddddd, since last Monday (8/15), I've lost six pounds doing low carb!

It only took me 11 years after being diagnosed with hypothyroid to finally find a doctor who would prescribe Armour for me.

I can do everything I need to do in a day and not have to pick which thing my energy will allow for because I have energy for it all!!!!!!

I feel better than when I was exercising regularly. I feel better than when I was LCing before. I feel better than....just fill in the blank.

I'm sleeping well. I'm waking up refreshed and not slogging through the morning waiting for the million cups of coffee to kick in.

I AM ABLE TO GARDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Elizabeth... I am THRILLED for you! I was just thinking about you yesterday and then you posted right away. So glad to hear that you're doing, not just well, but super well! I have been having a hard time waking up and getting going in the morning lately. Sigh. It comes and goes, though. Could it still be thyroid? I need to get a REAL thyroid check. Anyway, so, so happy for you!!

Wow! What a year!

My "feeling fantastic" only lasted a week or two and then I spiraled back down again.

Barely made it through the holidays.

Couldn't make it all the way up a flight of stairs.

No energy. Lots of pain. Hair loss.

My doctor left the practice.

Found an endocrinologist about an hour away. Took me two months to get in.

Gaining weight.

Problems are all thyroid and iron related.

FINALLY have those regulated and am feeling great again.

I am also off Metformin and my blood sugars look good. (I was on it for PCOS.)

I'm eating on plan. Looking forward to the weight going.

I've been at this awhile, but I refuse to give up!!!!

Today:
Stayed on plan.

Took the dog for a walk.

Read inspirational journals on LCF.

Worked through mountains of paper work.

Tomorrow:

Eat on plan.

Walk.

Work in garden.

Declutter "cold room."

194 this morning.

Accomplished the goals I set a few days ago.

I've still been eating on plan.

Today I went to a new restaurant. I was tempted to order something I shouldn't but then I thought about how bad it would make me feel. I ended up ordering a Greek salad with grilled chicken. I always feels better after the meal is over and I've eaten on plan. Today was no exception. I went shopping afterwards and was especially happy that I hadn't loaded up on carbs.

I've worked in the garden the past couple of days. My muscles are sore, sore, sore.

T-Tapp came out with a new DVD and it's on its way.

Things are getting done in the garden and in the house.

Can't believe this is the last weekend of July!!!!!

It's a beautiful day here! I would devour it but I have a dentist's appointment today and that tends to put a damper on things. I lost a filling last week. I'm really hoping they can just repair the tooth and not have to pull it or crown it. I really don't have the money for another crown.

I was so hungry yesterday and could not stop eating. I stayed on plan. I really expected the scale to be up, but it was still 193 today.

My back has been hurting and I really need to start T-Tapp again. It's been a couple of weeks. Why am I so all or nothing????

I have about 8 1/2 weeks (58 days) until my 25th wedding anniversary! I'm setting a goal of 15 lbs. by then. That's a little less than 2 lbs. a week. Time to buckle down!

I think I'll start my next "60-Day Challenge" for T-Tapp. I can do this!!!

Day 1 of my new challenge. Feeling the withdrawal. LOL It's funny how you can be eating higher up on the ladder and still feel withdrawal symptoms.

Received my new T-Tapp workout. Popped it right in and did it. It may take me a bit to learn it, but I loved it.

Went for a very long walk.

Hoping the scale shows a loss tomorrow and not water weight gain.

194 Grrrr.

Did my new T-Tapp DVD.

Cleaned like a mad woman. We aren't planning to move, but dh doesn't know what is going to happen with his job, so asked me to get the house ready to move. We've lived here almost 16 years. That's a lot of junk, rrrrr, stuff, I mean. So, I'm plugging away.

It's actually getting me quite motivated. As I declutter, I'm dreaming about how I can organize some of these spaces to better suit our family.

Ate on plan. Linda Sue's Enchilada Casserole-Alternate is really yummy. I find it so convenient to have a casserole in the refrigerator to grab when I am hungry.

Not even going to mention my weight. 1" gone in my waist. 1" in gone off my abs.

Ate on plan.

Mowed the lawn. Weed wacked. Filled a huge trash can with weeds I pulled. Think that should count as my workout today!

Tomorrow is another T-Tapp workout.

Those inches lost are sure more important aspect than what the scale says. That plus energy(!) and a sense of well being.

So, I was 191 today! Happy, happy! Scale is moving down.

Cut out blueberries and dark chocolate.

Upped the coconut oil.

Have had a wicked, bad headache for two days. Wonder if it's die off from eating so much coconut oil. I just jumped all in and started a 3 TBS. a day. Call me crazy!

Days are ticking by.

Totally derailed from a visit from my in-laws. I'm not sure why because I really enjoyed their visit.

One my category in the T-Tapp 60-Day Challenge.

Thinking about what I want my future to look like now that my thyroid health is under control. I feel like God is whispering in my ear.

Dreaming....

You won your category again! You go, girl! I really wanted to sign up this year, but the week they announced the contest, my hubby and I began training for a 5K so I couldn't do both. I can't believe you! YOU are a rockstar!
