I had something happen to me today that I never in a million, trillion years ever thought would happen. I purchased an exercise DVD and I am in the audience as a participant.

The whole reason I was even at the event was because I entered a contest and worked hard and won my category. I was 45 lbs. lighter than my heaviest weight.

I think it must be the same feeling that you get when you complete a 5K, 10K, or marathon. You don't come in first, but you still kicked butt because you trained hard and you finished. You accomplished something.

I am just flying so high tonight.

I really needed this. I needed this because it is helping me kick that fear to the curb. I won this contest and attended this retreat and I had the time of my life. Then, I came home and I became terrified of success and gave it all away. I dropped my workout schedule and let my diet slip.

Just watching the DVD reminds me of the energy that was in that room and throughout that whole weekend. It relit the fire. I am going to do this. I am not going to be afraid. I am going to roar in its face and make it get out of my way!
Love this, Elizabeth! That is so exciting and fun, and I'm glad you were able to take it and allow it to spur you on. Keep at it! You're doing great.

I'm really excited. Two incredible T-Tapp trainers are coming to my area to give a 4 1/2 hour class on Saturday!

I can't wait!! I love training "live" and learning new things.

I have a special T-Tapp journal that I take to all the "live" events so I can take notes, etc.

Had the most amazing T-Tapp class! I worked so hard, sweat so much, and really learned a lot!

I can't say enough about what this workout does for my body. My back issues really prevent me from doing certain types of "traditional" exercise. I am so glad that I have found a program that allows me to work my body! Good things are happening. I fully believe that one day I will be able to run and jump without pain.

I hesitate to post my numbers today lest anyone think T-Tapp is not awesome!

I am up 7 lbs. and 5.25 inches. I know that this is from inflammation from working out for four hours on Saturday. This is how my PCOS/hypothyroid body reacts to strenuous work. I am not discouraged. My diet was spot on last week except for one night of sushi where I did not overeat. I drank water with dinner. I planned for it. Was right back on plan as soon as I left the restaurant. I did not eat any dessert, etc.

Because I have analyzed my body to the nth degree, I know that I just need to stay the course. I'm making sure my diet is good and getting plenty of water.

We'll see what happens over the next couple weeks.

Spent two hours in the dentist's chair today getting the second half of a root canal. It needs a crown next month. Really hoping we can save the tooth.

Great attitude, Elizabeth. Staying the course. No white flags. Love it.
Now THAT'S persistence.

I haven't been here in awhile.

I hurt my back. I pushed too hard, stressed myself out too much, and didn't rest like I needed.

Looking back, I can see the build up. I can see how all the "little" things contributed to this injury.

I haven't been able to be at the computer because sitting in the chair hurts too much. I haven't been able to drive, but might try today.

To make matters worse, my nutrition went right out the window. Cookies and cheese puffs to ease the pain. Stupid! I don't even like cheese puffs.

Two steps forward, one step back.

Breakfast for today: cottage cheese w/ blueberries, coffee

to you, Elizabeth. I know the back pain, and I'm sorry you're going through that. And you know I know the comfort food! Hang in there.

This too will pass.

I am so sorry about your back Elizabeth! That is just the worst - poor thing. I am really glad you came back in here though. How are you feeling now? Are you on some pain relief??!! That gives me a few pounds of water weight when I have to take painkillers .. better to avoid the scale like the plague in times like that. Just thought I'd mention it .. I know I do not think straight when I am in pain and can get upset about the scale, the comfort food I can get into, etc. I hope you have gotten some relief!!!

big big

Thank you all for your kind words!

It's been over a month since I hurt my back. I still have some residual pain, but over all, I would say that I am healing.

Eating has been on track since March 9th.

I WILL win this battle! At the very least, I've kept 39 pounds off!

Picking up my oldest daughter from college tomorrow for spring break!!! I can't believe that she will be 21 this summer! I was 21 when she was born!!!

Thank you, all!

Sorry I didn't respond. I was very busy with my daughter.

I have started to T-Tapp again. I can feel strength coming back to my body. I am taking it very ssslllllooooowwww.

Eating is good.

I'm reading Eat Fat, Lose Fat by Fallon and Enig. I've increased my coconut oil. I am finally feeling some of the effects that others have mentioned. We'll see what happens.

Haven't posted in over three months.

Thyroid is a problem again. Super hypo symptoms. PCOS out of whack as well.

Found a new doctor. Just started on Armour Thyroid today. I need this to work!

Thank you! ((((Pauline)))))

I have just been too exhausted to read or post. It is fatiguing to sit at the computer. I should have seen the signs sooner.
