Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

The festivities are all behind me and I am back on plan. I am feeling very motivated. Two days of healthy eating and two days of T-Tapp and I am feeling great.

I want 2010 to be the year I reach my goal!!!!!!!!!!!! I can feel it. I am ready to do the work.

Plan:

1) Regular low carb for two weeks.... Jan. 9. Check and see where I am at. If I am still losing.....continue with what I am doing. If I'm not losing then:

2) Start recording everything in ****** and adjust calories.

3) Do a T-Tapp workout 6 days a week.

4) Keep measuring for T-Tapp.

5) Need to send progress pics in to T-Tapp on Jan. 15. Access where I am inch wise and see if I need to kick it up a notch.

6) Alfalfa, Vitamin D, and Folic Acid everyday.

7) Lots of water.

8) Herb tea to keep the munchies at bay.

9) Do dry brushing twice daily. (Joined a challenge on the T-Tapp forums.)

It's snowing like crazy here. It's so beautiful. Nice relaxing day with the kids. I'm enjoying my oldest daughter being home from college. I've really missed her!

Lisa,

Thanks for the encouragement. I am constantly trying to find the balance between real life and posting on the internet. LOL I love my LCFs, though. Hope to be around more. I do so much better when I am reading and posting!

Hey! How are you doing? I like to talk the talk....let's see if I can walk the walk. I've been at this for awhile. Took a big break with the eating....feel pretty crummy....craving LC foods, so should be gearing up for some more weight loss.

Lisa,
They are all moves from T-Tapp. Oh yeah, T-Tapp Twist really gets you! If you go to the T-Tapp site, you can see HoeDowns in the Try Before You Buy section. (Not sure I'm allowed to post the link.)

No workout Tuesday. Took a rest day because my back was sore. Food was good.

Today-PBS, Plies, Oil Wells, TTTwist, HoeDowns, Balance, Lawnmowers.

Only been dry brushing once a day. Hope to get another one in for today to make my two.

Food is good. Can't seem to get enough to eat. My goal right now is just to stay low carb.

I woke up feeling better than I have in weeks! I think the detox is almost complete! Feeling like I got my game back! And all before New Year's Day!

Got two dry brushes in yesterday. Hmmmm? Wonder if that's why I woke up feeling better? Get that lymph moving.

Have eggs boiling right now. Going to go to the store later and stock up on some things. My new favorite is Parmesan Artichoke dip with thinly sliced cucumbers. Oh baby!

T-Tapp is working it's magic. My dh came home from work last night and said, "Did you lose 10 lbs. today?" Gosh, I love that man! He knows how to inspire me!

I've been struggling with getting in my workouts and I think I may have figured out a small reason. I'm very visual. When I was doing the 60-Day Challenge, I would make great big Xs on the calendar in my kitchen whenever I did a work out. I would see it every time I was in the kitchen. I haven't been doing it lately. I've been marking them in a notebook, which really isn't doing it for me. So, last night, I took a pink marker and put big Xs for all the workouts I've completed this week. Man, feelings of accomplishment were instantaneous! So....the marker is my new best friend!

Hope you all have a great day! I'll pop in later to update.

Had a great day.

A couple of weeks ago, I found my best friend from 7th grade on FaceBook. Today was her wedding and dh and I went. It was really fun. I'm proud of myself because I didn't give into the wedding cake. It was really hard, too, because the cake was made by her mom who is a wonderful baker!

Got my workout in tonight. PBS, Plies, Oil Wells, TTTwist, HoeDowns, OIP/HF, Three Point Leg Lifts, Awesome Legs

Food has been good today.

I feel really good!

GG, don't look back. You say it was hard? Of course it was, but that's because sugar -- that substance that Tosca Reno calls "white poison" -- has become, as she explains it, America's acceptable drug of choice. We eat it, we want more. But oh-the-damage it can do, and not just in terms of adding unwanted pounds.

You resisted the cake. Good for you. The next time temptation hits, remind yourself that whatever that is tempting you, it's not just...."cake," for example, it's white poison. Keep making the right/good choices and you'll be rewarded for it.

I totally get what you are saying. I guess I should have been more specific. I did word it in such a way to suggest that her baking tempted me, but I had so many emotions going on that night. I feel like I overcame it because it wasn't the cake (sugar) I was tempted by. It was the fact that I hadn't had this particular cake in 18 years and probably will never have this cake again. I was very much caught up in nostalgia and feeling like I was 12 years old again, KWIM? But, I was very proud of myself for resisting food as a memory. It was a new thing for me to overcome. This is why I mentioned it in my journal.

Thank you for the white poison reminder. I need to keep it in the forefront of my brain. Awhile back I wrote a post about never being tempted to smoke because I would never put that stuff in my body. Sugar needs to be the same!

Took my daughter back to school yesterday. That is always hard. I'm so proud of how well she is doing adjusting to being at college.

Food was good on Saturday and Sunday.

Took the kids sledding on Saturday. I didn't go down on the sled because of my back, but got lots of walking in deep snow in. My thighs really hurt on Sunday.

Food is on track today. Did T-Tapp Step Away The Inches this morning. Will get more workout in later this evening. I'm trying to limit my computer time, so don't know if I'll get back in tonight or not.

Thanks, Monet. Yeah, I figure I'll get used to her leaving pretty soon, right?

Food was good today.

T-Tapp workout: PBS, Plies, Oil Wells, TTTwist, HoeDowns, Balance, Lawnmowers, OIP/HF, Three Point Leg Lifts, Awesome Legs.

I was very still and tight all day today. Feel a little better after my workout. Hope that will be gone by tomorrow.

It will not stop me!

Finished Ali Vincent's Believe It! Be It! Pretty motivational. Wish I had written down some of the quotes that inspired me. Maybe I'll go back through and find some of them and write them down in my journal.

I wouldn't think we'd ever get used to them being away .. but maybe.. we may get used to it.. but we wont like it..

Korbey wants to transfer to another college and he would have to live on campus.. but its all about how much his scholarships will pay.. its a private college.. but they focus on what he is studying.. ( Religious Studies) and he really wants to go there.. I told him all we can do is pray about it and see what the good Lord whats him to do ..

hey do you take any omega 3's?.. if not.. that may help with the tightness your feeling?? might check into it.. ..

have a good rest of your day!!

Soaked my feet in magnesium oil last night and then took a Dead Sea Salt bath. Dry brushed before the bath, so got in two db yesterday! Went to bed feeling better. Woke up feeling less tight than I did yesterday. Things seem to be working themselves out.

Food has been good. I'm loving being on what I consider to be straight low carb. Maybe it's a food addiction, maybe something else, but I have a really hard time if I start trying to add things back in. Maybe when I'm at goal.

Exercise was great today.....lots of T-Tapp....surprised???

This morning-T-Tapp Step Away the Inches and OIP/HF

Tonight-PBS, Oil Wells, TTTwist, HoeDowns, Thread the Needle, Lawnmowers, OIP/HF, Awesome Legs, and Three Point Leg Lifts.

Lots of errands to run tomorrow.
