QBU's trip to fit
Well, let's see where to start...I've been following the Atkins WOL since April 5, 2005 and so far have lost about 70lbs...I'm down 8 sizes and feel better than I have in a long time. I live in PA with my DH and DS. We have 2 Jack Russell Terriers, a cockatiel, and fish. I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist who works at a middle school and high school.
About a month or so ago, I recommitted to my goal and so far, things have been going great. This is my plan: My plan is by April 5, 2007 I want to be at my goal. At my last weigh in that would mean about 46lbs needs to go by April. That's about 2lbs a week, which is very realistic (at least I think it is). I'm going to re-commit to my goal. I will: do one exercise video per day continue my walking weight train 3X per week drink as much water as I am now (or more) So far, I've been doing an exercise video a day (sometimes 2), walking, and drinking water. The only thing that I haven't done is the weight training. That has to start though. Need to tone up more. I've seen some familiar names and faces around here and look forward to meeting many more .

Welcome to the journals qbu. Nice to see you here. You've done so well and I'm sure you're going to reach that goal by April of next year.

Thanks, wanna...I'm definitely going to be close to it if not there by then...just have to keep up the work with the exercise. That's where I see to slack off.

So, I assume you are on track today q? You always are, cuz you rock! I still have 20 oz. of water to go, I guess I'm going to go do it, or I'll be up all night!.
Was your day with the kiddies good? Are you still using your pedometer? Mine was no good darn it. Still need to get another one. Have a great night! I'm super glad you are here! |

Yep...on track today. Eating was on track...water was on track...exercise was on (did Slim Series "Firm It Up"). Day with the kids was great! My one student had a milestone today...she fed herself for the first time! She's in the Multiple Disabilities class...she's 16yrs old and today, she picked up the fork, stuck it into the food, lifted it to her mouth and ate. She did this for most of her meal! Needless to say, the tears started flowing! I was soooooo proud of her. It was absolutely amazing! The things that seem so small for a 'normal' child are such a big deal for some of my kids. I use the pedometer when I remember. I figure I'm going pretty much the same each day (between 2 and 3 miles) just at school. Thanks...I'm glad to be here. It seems like it's a really nice place. Have a good night! ![]() |
