Cool off would probably kick my behind!! Yay, your joining us for December! I don't think it is up yet. Not sure whether to wait for Kat, for step up and do it, since she did it last month. Darn I need that PM feature! I'll let you know when it's up. ![]() |

Hey Queenie and Erin!
I hadn't started the thread and wanted to see if we were going to rotate who starts it each month? Just let me know. We need to put a note in the original post that it is for any workout video because I had one girl tell me that she didn't join because she thought it was for WATP only. I'll be here off and on today...da boss is dictating a letter, but got called away by da phone. ~meow |

It's up ladies. I'm doing 20 again this month, but I think that is a real challenge seeing as we are going to Alabama for a few days the week after Christmas. I might have to ask my BIL for a room with a tv, I'll bring my own dvd player and dvd's.

I enjoyed the sneak peek so much! It was great! We got to see about 40 minutes of Act 2. The kids did a great job with the dancing and singing. They even have a harness that has them flying above the stage! I think DS will really get a kick out of it. The costumes were incredible for a middle school production! Even DH helped out with it...he made the swords for them...very impressive on stage! Well, think I'm gonna go look around here and then get to bed. Have a good night!

Ramp It Up completed for today.
Tonight's the play and we won't be home until after 10:30PM or so. Probably won't be around later this evening. Have a great day! |

We went to the play last night. It was incredible! The kids were amazing! It was even better than the sneak peek we had during the day.
It was sold out! They actually had to turn people away at the door and tell them to come back to another performance. DS was in 'awe' of it all. It was his first real play that he went to see. He loved seeing the kids on stage and all of the different scenes. At the end, Peter Pan 'flew' out over the audience and that just blew him away! When it was over, the director of the play (who's a good friend of DH) had us stay for a while. He took us backstage and let DS go up onto the stage to see the sets, props, and explained how everything worked to him. I think that was the greatest thing for DS. He loves knowing how things work. We didn't get home until almost midnight. The play went from 7:15 to 10:30. Then we stayed for a while then the drive home. I was exhausted today. Actually slept in late! Plans for today are hopefully, putting up our Christmas tree, doing laundry, grocery shopping, and a workout later today. I just had breakfast (guess it could be called lunch). I made the pumpkin omlette posted in the "I love pumpkin thread". OMG!!! It was so good! I'm posting the recipe here too! Pumpkin omelette 2 eggs 1/4 cup canned or fresh cooked pureed pumpkin 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp maple extract 1/2 tsp fresh ground cinnamon pinch of ground ginger 1 tbl (give or take) DaVinci Caramel syrup 1 oz cream cheese cut into tiny cubes beat the eggs, pumpkin, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel syrup well together pour into a preheated over med high skillet with a pat of butter in it cook until almost done and ready to flip ... add the cubes of cream cheese and fold it over with a very easy hand....cover and remove let stand until the inside is completely firm.... my entire family loves this I serve it with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of fresh grated cinnamon It is so quick and easy and sooooooo good! Well, I'm off to get started for the day! |

Hey Queenie!
My, you sure are busy!! How's your thighs feeling after your Si6 workout? Noticing them going down already? I have an older "Start it Up" and the first week I noticed it in my thighs. I'm hoping I'll get the set for Christmas!! Hope you're having a nice weekend! |

Hey q,
The plaly sounded awesome!! How great that your son got to go behind the scenes!! I can see how that would be very exciting for a child. I'm glad a good time was had by all! The pumpkin omolette sounds really good. I would make it this morning, but I need to pick up a couple of ingredients. I'm going to make french toast for the family and then just plain old eggs for me! Hope your having a nice Sunday!! |

My thighs are going down...slowly! They seem to be taking a long time to do anything for me. I'm actually noticing my waist shrinking faster than any other part. |

The omelette is really good. I made sure I picked up more pumpkin in case I want to make it through the week. Sunday was nice. Think it's time to call it a night. |

Smaller waist is as good as smaller thighs, ay? I can't wait to see everyone's results by the end of the six weeks.

I'm here...things have been a bit busy this week.
DS had wrestling on Monday and I finished decorating the house while DH took him. Did manage to exercise though. Tuesday was the Christmas concert at DSs school. It was very nice. Exercised again that night. Wednesday we got home late from work, DS had wrestling and I had some work to finish up for school. Did exercise though. Haven't been exercising in the AM. I have to get back into that routine. I had so much more energy throughout the day when I did. Well, thanks for tidying up SweetE...I'll check in later tonight. Don't have any major plans for after work today. |

I hope you had a restful afternoon today. I know you could think of a billion things that need doing. That is what I am doing right now. Thinking about what I need to get done tomorrow and trying to decide if I should go to bed or get some items ticked off my list tonight. Getting up early just to exercise is hard. I hope you can get back into the routine. Well, I guess I'm going to go do somethings on my Friday list and then try to get to bed at a reasonable time! Night, q.

Thanks, SweetE and Kat for cleaning up a bit...been a while since I've been in here. The holidays are getting into full swing, but I've been keeping up with exercise.
Actually, got a nice compliment the other day from a co-worker. She looked at me and said, "You've lost more weight. I can see it in you face and thighs...not that I'm looking at you thighs!---But, not that there's anything wrong with it if I did...oh, you know what I mean!" I just smiled and said, "Thank you!" Also, yesterday, we (DH and I) were walking through Wal-Mart and I saw a pair of jeans my before size (24) and stopped and backed up. Said to DH, "Was my ass really that big?" Without missing a beat DH said, "No" (I get all happy that he never saw me that big). "it actually looked a little bigger. They're flat...you were filling those baby's out!" OK...I wanted honesty from him. Then he said, "You look great now and you looked great then--no matter what size you are!" OK...back to getting all happy. I'm making the Sicilian Pumpkin Soup that was in Kat's journal. It smells soooo good. It's simmering now. Have to add the pumpkin. I was also over at the 'other place' and I didn't realize that 2big is no longer active there. I must be oblivious to what was going on with so many people leaving. Have to get in my exercise today. I'm going to do Cool It Off, then take a nice long bath with some candles and music (DD suggestion---she said I need a Spa Day--but since I can't do that, this might be the next best thing). Well, time to add the pumpkin to my soup. I'll check back later. |
