I know what you mean about middle school boys. They think the same things are funny as a five year old does. They totally regress! At least mine did. Big old goof balls. Middle school is wild, they come in looking like little kids and leave with adult bodies. Those teachers deserve the highest pay, since they have to deal with that crazy hormonal period.
I think I got a little off track again...I do that a lot!
Have a good night night!
Naaaa, that's enough sleep for me. I'm fine with that amount. I'm actually more tired when I get more sleep. Middle school's actually not too bad. They do get a bit goofy, like you said, but other than that, they're pretty good to deal with. I'm actually much happier with the age group I have this year than I was with the K-8 age group. Sure you're dealing with the crazy hormonal period, but with the younger ones, you're dealing with temper tantrums. So no matter what age group you work with, there's always something you're dealing with....but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Hey, wanna...the usual...got up at 3:45AM...did Turbo Jam 20 minute workout...got ready for work...went to work...saw all of my students...had a really great day with them...stayed late at work because DH and our carpool buddy had a meeting...got home...had dinner...getting ready to exercise in a bit. Actually, got a really great compliment today. I have a student who is in the emotional support class...kinda tough guy (gets into fights, curses a lot, will throw things--always has been polite and respectful with me however)...and I went to get him today. The teacher said to me, "You know, the only time I see him smile is when you come in here to get him for Speech." That was really nice to hear...the tears almost started flowing because of the comment, and also because I thought about him not smiling at all.

How bout you? How was your day?

Oh yeah, mine!

Hiya, Barb! I liked Tone It Up...it was just a tough workout for me to get through.

Challenge starts on Sunday...and yep...it was your idea. I think it was a great idea though. Get more people involved in it and we won't have to whine to ourselves. They'll be lots of whining and complaining going on.

I really do like the Slim Series and SI6. Turbo Jam isn't a bad workout either. That one is a little more difficult for me to do because of the "dancieness" of it. I'm getting there though, not tripping over my feet as much as I used to!

Awwww, wanna...it'll be fun! I don't curse at her as much as I did in the beginning. I find that if I don't, my breathing is better and I can do more in the workout. (Just a helpful hint for ya when the challenge starts. )

Hi,
You sound like a great teacher! Thank you for doing what you do!!!
When do you get off for Thanksgivning? Will you go shopping on Black Friday? I just found out that it is going to be tax free here that Friday and Saturday! That will probably inflate the craziness. But I'll go anyway.
You're still doing great with your exercising, are you seeing results on the scale yet?
Have a great day! TGIF!!!

I have Turbo Jam too. But I seem to keep throwing my back out with all that butt action! LOL.
The dancieness is tough for me too Q!
I had a good time with the Yoga Booty Ballet for a while there.
Hmm. Maybe I'll break that one out later today!

Thanks, Erin ...I really love what I do, so it makes it easy.

We have our parent teacher conferences on Tuesday and then a half day on Wednesday. We're off Thursday, Friday, and Monday for Thanksgiving. Monday is the first day of buck season in PA (guess it's an official holiday here).

I don't go shopping on Black Friday. Did it a few times and I just can't handle the crowds...too much to take for me.

I haven't weighed yet. I'm planning on weighing and measuring again on November 19th...the day of the Slim in 6 Challenge. I'm hoping I see some good results. I'm busting my butt with exercise! Funny thing is, I look forward to it now! Never thought I would!

The kids are the real blessing. They make it worth getting up in the AM and driving an hour to get to school. I love working with them!

I have Yoga Booty Ballet Hip Hop Abs...came with Turbo Jam as the bonus. That one is a bit too dancy for me too. It was fun, but difficult for me to follow.

That is awsome that you actualy look forward to your workouts! While I get up and want to do mine, I still don't think I'm looking forward to it yet. I'm still happy when they're over.
Well, it is waaay past my bedtime and the boys have their final soccer tournament game in the morning. We stayed out late at a friends playing double 12 domino's, we're real party animals.
Have a great weekend!

I think I look forward to them because they're just "me" time. No one else is allowed in the room when I'm workin out...no husband, no son, no dogs...NOBODY! I have the room to myself, and can just concentrate on what I need to do. Then when it's over, I feel great, like I can tackle the world.

I did Cool It Off last night. That was a nice change. It was all stretching, very yoga-like and no jumping around. It felt good doing all of those stretches after a week of work. Definitely more flexible now than before losing weight and beginning exercise.

Today we have my niece's 4th birthday party. Starts at 3PM. Not sure which of DH's family members will be there, haven't seen a few of them since the summer. Haven't seen his sister in longer than that. We'll see.

Workout on today's schedule is Turbo Jam 20 minute. That will be easy to fit in when we get home. May even do Slim and Limber after it.

Going to go look around to see what's going on around here today.

OK...so workout for today was Turbo Jam 20 minuteworkout and Slim and Limber. Got those in after getting back from our neice's 4th birthday party. Not too bad of a time. Saw some relatives I haven't seen for a while. Some of the comments: "You've lost more weight? You should stop now." "Wow, you look great!" "Still doing that Atkins thing?" Just kind of smile and nod with most people when they try to let me know I should stop what I know I need to continue. Said thank you for the positives, and "Yes, I'm still doing that Atkins thing. It's the way I eat now."

Was able to eat at the party. They had a 6ft sub, so I took out the meat and veggies and ate that. There was a relish tray, had some black olives, and there was a veggies tray. Had some broccoli from that. Had water to drink.

Gearing up for the Slim in 6 Challenge that starts tomorrow. Have to weigh and measure tomorrow AM. Hoping I've lost something....anything...since I've been working out on a regular basis again.

Time to go look around for a while and see what's going on around here.

Today wasn't too bad. Had to do the grocery shopping and bought everything for Thanksgiving dinner. The store was so crowded. DH and DS also came along.

Did Ramp It Up for exercise today. Have to go post in the SI6 challenge thread also.

Not too bad of a week coming up. Full day tomorrow. Half day on Tuesday with students and then we're there until 8:30PM for parent conferences and then a half day on Wednesday.

Time to go post in the SI6 thread and see what else is going on around here.
