I should take a minute to indroduce myself. Yes, my name is Terry. Not all that original but it works for me.

I began Atkins in June 2003. It was wonderful to finally find a plan I could stick with. I was a slow loser but managed to lose 65# by June 04. Although I still had a way to go, felt for the first time ever I could succeed and reach a goal.

Then I hit a huge wall and stopped losing. Looking back I believe that I had reached a point where I DID have to count calories. You can eat more and still lose at a higher weight. My portions needed to be smaller.

If only I had realized that then. I began my slide back to weight gain at first "dabbling" in low carb then full out binging my back to where I began. Since then I have played with the same 20# over and over again.

I think that you only fail when you give up so... I'm not giving up and I welcome you to join me on my journey.

Can I sit here on this lovely fainting couch (is this victorian?) It looks like your regular couch is all full up already.

Terry, I've seen you 'elsewhere' but just never posted in your journal. It's nice to see familiar names over here!

Hope your day is good!

Victorian... yes.... thats what they told me at the furniture store when I told em I wanted more space for my friends to come and visit. I thought an eclectic feel would be nice. Thanks for being the one to christen it for me!!

See? Now I'm relieved *she said, jumping on top of Barb and bouncing up and down on her bladder* because I know you have a journal. See, I was concerned *crunching on one of Heather's pork rinds* that you had one and I couldn't find it. *Takes a swill of kitkat's induction-acceptable beverage* Now that I know it's here, and because I owe you a debt of gratitutde for my walking last night *burps and blows Lynne's hair straight back--excuse me*, I will surely be making visits to this place early and often.

Hey MsTerry, We don't know eachother, but hopefully that will soon change. Looks like there's a lot of fun going on in here. Is white tea better than regular tea? I've never liked tea much, but I'm always willing to try new things. I'll have a cup and squeeze between Cleo and Barbde on the couch. Maybe we could get a sectional in here!

Morning Terry. I'll help you hang your own pictures 'cause mine of Johnny are all MINE. I don't share when it comes to Johnny 'cause I did once and Shelly kept him so long that she wore him out and he was useless to the rest of us after that.

Oh and I agree about the calorie counting. Me too! And I don't care who hears this!

Thanks for stopping by Sweet!

Lots of WATP users in these parts.

I'm calling the next meeting of the WATP group here tomorrow. I'll be sure to have plenty of ice water..... I picked up extra ice at the store so just bring your water bottles ladies and fill as needed.

Hey Terry!

I am definately going to check out those videos, I can use them on the days I don't go to the gym. I ended up going this morning and walked three miles, my feet were hurting so bad I had to get off and hopped on the eliptical i
