My journey to the real me!

Hi I am on this journey to the new me! I will be 40 next month and I realised witha going to be 3 year old daughter it was past time for me to get in shape! I started atkins oct 13 2006 and lost 16 pounds in 3 weeks but i fell off the wagon the weekend and feel awful! I realise now thta this is the best way for me and so I am back on track and refuse to go off again! I am in Kentucky and I look forward to making new friends and getting support as well as giving it!

Wow what a great loss you had in three weeks!! Take it from, me a seasoned second time arounder, there is NO cheat worth it! I've made every excuse in the book and as the excuses piled up, so did the pounds. I'm so glad you got right back on and are feeling great! Let's shed some pounds together, kay? What plan are you on? I'm an Atkins girl myself. I'm off to check on some recipes and see what else is going on. Bye

Ok I fell off the wagon and have started strict induction as of today! My weigh in this morn was 239.2 so I want to lose 20 pounds by Christmas!

How are you doing? Hope you are on the wagon! Kat's siggie quote helps me, maybe it will help you too. "A year from now you'll wish you had started today!" Just think if you stay on this WOE for a whole year, what you will look like. I keep that thought in my mind and it is helping me. I mean realistically, I could be at my goal weight, if I don't cheat. That is so worth it. I hope you find that one thing that motivates you too!

Ok I messed up and fell off the wagon but I am back and going all the way! I started back my birthday Dec7th and i am down almost 5 pounds in 48 hours! This is the diet for me and I think how far down i could be iff i would have stuck with it! But no regrets I am doing this and no more falling off so please hang on to me and keep me on this wagon! Thanks all of you who stopped by to support me I promise I am here to stay and reach my goals and stay to maintain and help others as well!

I didnt weigh in because it was sucha busy day but I will in the morn! I am so excited and I know I am going to go all the way this time I know it will al be worth it!

I'm so glad your back with such an enthused attitude!! You really can do it. It's just about not allowing yourself to fail. I have yet to fully corner that market myself, but there are so many amazing people here who have! I'm here for you, we can do this thing!!!

No its not my house but I love snow and thought it was pretty! I have a brick house actually with icicle lights decorating lol I know we can do it and thank you so much for inspiring me because whether you know it or not when i fell off them weeks i would remember things you had here in my diary! So I am giving this my all! Oh weighed in and 6 pounds gone sense thursday! I am so excited!

I AM GOING TO STAY ON TRACK i DONT WANT TO FALL OFF THE WAGON SO i AM GOING TO AVOID the cake and ice cream part and let the others do it! i am going to take sugar free jello pudding AND SOME STUFF i CAN HAVE! i HOPE YOU EACH HAVE A SAFE AND WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

Ok the party was great I surved the cake and ice cream and wasnt even tempted wooohooo go me and then i weighed and I am down to 234.0 so that is 8.2 pounds left behind! I am getting to your diaries I think we all are doign awsome!

I am trying to cut backmore I amfroze at 234.0 but I am getting inches off because i can fit my 16 over my hips now

YAY, to surviving the bday cake!!! You are really in control!! The weight will start moving again! You will get a big drop when you least expect it. I have heard and testify to having a wooshie after eating Scilian Pumpkin soup recipe. Try it!! It's in the recipe threads. And it is DELICIOUS!!
I'll be leaving Saturday for over a week. Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
I'm going to try and get on my laptop while I'm gone.

8.2lbs down AND you're fitting into your size 16's?!?! WOOOO HOOOO!! That is wonderful!! Congrats too on resisting all those HC desserts! Doesn't it make you feel GREAT that you were able to be in control?!?! And now the scale is rewarding ya!

Thanks I like my new av pic too. That's our new puppy Riley. 2 cute for words! He has me, DH, and DD wrapped right around his little puppy paws!
