I feel so wonderful . I think I may have this low carb finally licked.
I started Atkins 72 on Satuday 10/28/06 after many many many attempts at low carbing. I felt good on low carb , but after just a few days of losses , I stalled for months.........years.

I read the Atkins '72 thread & it opened my eyes so much. I just want to shout to everyone.

I realized from reading so many posts here that cheese is a bad thing for some people. I wasnt measuring salads & veggies nor was I keeping track of salad dressing , because as we all know , there is 1 carb in alot of them. I was just dumping it on. I was eatting sugar free icecream when I craved sweets & lots of cheese for snack. No wonder I wasnt losing!

Since my eye opener , I have lost 4 1/2 pounds in just 4 days. I know it wont keep melting off like that but boy did it do wonders for my motivation

I will try to keep a food journal here incase it can help someone else.

Saturday 10/28 Start weight 171
Breakfast: coffee w/ 1/2 tbsp of 1/2&1/2 ( this is the only tweek......I really hate heavy cream in coffee) --had 2 coffees

burger , fried in butter , no cheese 1 tbsp mayo , 1 tbps low carb ketchup

Lunch: 3/4 cup shredded chicken , 2 tbsp mayo , 5 slices of cuke, 3 slices of tomato , diet soda , water

Dinner: 9 spanish olives , 2 dill pickles, few pepperoni slices , shrimp cocktail---made cocktail sauce w/ 1 tbsp low carb ketchup & horseradish., diet soda

Sunday 10/29: weight 170
Breakfast: 2 coffee
burger , 1 tbsp mayo

Lunch: 2 burgers , 1 cup lettuce , 2 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp ranch dressing , 1 pickle , diet soda , water

Dinner: 1 boneless chicken breast half, 1 cup lettuce , 3 tbsp ranch dressing , durkee hot sauce blended with butter , sugar free jello , 2 tbsp whipped heavy cream.

Monday 10/30 weight 170
Breakfast: 2 coffee , half & half
3/4 chicken breast halt , 1 scrambled egg

Lunch: Turkey burger , no cheese , diet soda

Snack: 4 small slim jims ( 4 is a serving). Shouldnt have eatten them probably but I was starved for some reason

Snack 2: 1 cheese stick ( 1oz.)

Dinner:
3 eggs scrambled w/ 3 links of brown & serve sausage , 2 fress mushrooms & 1 slice of american cheese
sugar free jello , diet soda

Later on -- tall glass of crystal lite grapefruit -- cut the sugar craving.
