I am still a little lost around here. There is so much info, just feel a little overwhelmed. (That's a good thing - here!)

I have decided to keep a journal also to keep track of my eating, exercise and goals.

My beginning weight was 207 - That was last Thursday - my first day on induction. My goal weight is 140.

This has been a HUGE adjustment for me as I was a HUGE pepsi drinker (not diet). On Thursday morning I was out, so I made some crystal light to drink. It wasn't bad - but I normally drink 6 to 8 pepsi's a day! UGH!
BUT NO more - I did buy some diet coke in bottles (16 oz - I think) and am only drinking 1/2 a bottle a day. Now I have tried to quit drinking pepsi before and just cave in with the headaches and just wanting one so bad. Not this time, I am committed to taking this weight off - once and for all!

Today's eating:
Breakfast - 2 eggs scrambled in butter, 2 bacon
Lunch- hamburger pattie, pickles and salad
Lunch - 2 eggs scrambled in butter, 2 bacon (Hey that's what I felt like eating LOL)

To drink:
8 glasses of water so far
1/2 bottle of diet coke

I feel incredible. Much more energy than I had. It's a little more difficult when there are 8 other people to cook for, that are not low carbing.

Erercise:
Since Thursday I have walked 4 miles and will walk 2 more tonight. So I will be up to 6 miles, which also is a huge thing for me.

Welcome to LCF...

I was a dedicated Diet Pepsi person, then recently switched to Diet Rite because of the 0 everything...I just don't think I can give up my Diet Rite and anybody who can I Although I do drink plenty of water so I guess I justify it that way

All the info can be overwhelming so post questions if you have them..remember we are all here for the same reason...to lose weight. I personally have learned A LOT from folks here...
