Journal of a repeat offender

Motivational Quote for the Day
"This one step - choosing a goal and sticking to it - changes everything." Scott Reed

I just hate that I'm restarting for the umpteenth time. I should've been at my goal weight YEARS ago....but Nooooo...I had to slack off and lose my focus.

Okay...enough ranting about the past. This is now my future. I'm determined as all get-out to see a weight that I've never seen before on a scale. Okay...I might have seen it in the 7th grade...but that doesn't count.

My goals for 10/23 are as such:

-Drink more than 48 ounces of water.
-Eat clean...no cheating no matter how much the snickers beckons you!
-Try to get a few more chapters into the Atkins book. (Yes...you've read it before, but refreshing your memory is a good thing)
-Keep carb count below 20...start recording here on the journals page to keep track
-Start posting more in the Century Club area...there is a LOT of motivation in there just waiting for you!

You CAN do this!

I'll be back to post my food intake in a bit...

Shelley
242/whatever I get in 2 weeks as long as it's below 242!/135

Breakfast:

4 eggs
1 tsp heavy cream
3 slices bacon

2 cups of decaf tea...no splenda

The bacon smells soooo GOOD! I've forgotten how wonderful it smells!

Be back later with my lunch stats!

1 ounce swiss cheese
half a handful of bite-sized pepperoni
4 slices thin-sliced turkey

plan on eating a cucumber and tomato later on in the day...like a mid-afternoon snack. (gotta get some veggies in there somehow!)

Dinner (for 10/23)

roasted chicken
broccoli
mustard/mayonnaise dip for chicken

Total water intake for the day: 71.6 oz.
Much MUCH better than what you were doing!

One day down...not too bad of a headache. (That's what has me worried. What's it gonna be today?)

I'll post my food and such later on for 10/24

Congrats!

I just wanted to say Hi There and that I'm glad to see you post! I, too, am a repeat offender. My journal is Brend'a and you're more than to visit my journal spot. I am doing my first 40 day commitment, and doing what I can to make it.

I did blow it this morning with candy, but lunch was great and snack too. Dinner will be low carb, but I not sure what yet. I'll post it on the other site later tonight.

Best of luck, and hugs

Hey there and thanks for the welcome! I'm sure glad to be back here...now to get stubborn enough to stick with this no matter what!

No worries on that candy. You ate clean from then on out. Good Job!

Take care and hope you had a great dinner!

Motivational Quote for Day 2

My future starts when I wake up every morning... Every day I find something creative to do with my life.
Miles Davis (1926 - 1991)

Ow...ow...ow...ow....oh boy do I ever remember this headache from sugar/carb withdrawal! At least I know that I'm on the right track and my body is telling me that I've had a tad bit too much in my system for far too long!

Here are my meals for today:

Breakfast
scrambled eggs with chicken
2 slices bacon
2 cups tea (no splenda)

Lunch
chicken
1 oz swiss cheese
mustard and mayo to dip my chicken into
1 SF jello with a tsp of whipped cream

snack
2 slices summer sausage

Dinner
hamburger stir-fry (hamburger, nappa cabbage, broccoli slaw, onion)

Not too sure on the water intake today. I need to get better at remembering to carry my water bottle around like I used to!
I'll check back here later and post my water intake

Shelley
