Rebecca's World...

I am out of control!!! At least I feel that way... I went from 221 to 148 prior to getting pregnant with my third child, Anna, she is almost 5 months and now I am weighing in at 184 and I'm out of control! I need to get back on track with low carbing and get some of this weight off. I just feel miserable, not because I'm fat, well, that is making me feel bad but it's really physical. I can't stand carrying this extra weight around. Hopefully blogging here will help be with some accountability. I started eating better today but by 6pm I had a pounding headache so I gave in and ate some eggo waffles! I just have to start out slower... Tomorrow is another day! I'm going to have to go with one meal every 2 or 3 days. Converting one meal to low-carb. I just don't think I'm capable of doing it any other way at this time. Will write more tomorrow!

Okay, I feel alright... trying to control some crazy cravings. I know this only lasts a couple days and then I will be in complete control. Thanks for the support!

Here's what I've eaten so far today...
M1: Coffee with sugar free coffee mate
2 hard boiled eggs, 2 small sausage patties
M2: 10 shrimp w/ 2tbsp cocktail sauce
M3: 6 ounces tuna mixed with 1T mayo and 1t horseradish wrapped up in a large lettuce leaf.

Plan for the rest of the day:
M4: 2 slices cheese
M5: two diced chicken thighs sauteed with 2 cups brocolli in some olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

I was going to go walking, however, I don't want to take on too much too soon. I really need to focus on my eating and get these cravings under control. So this week I'm just focusing on food. Next week I will add in walking 3x.

This is from FitDay:

Total Calories: 1301
gm. cals %
Fat: 78 700 55%
Carbs: 25 74 6%
Fiber: 6 0 0%
Protein: 124 495 39%

So far I've consumed 96 ounces of water.

Your menu looks yummy!

A lot of people really feel crummy the first few days of low carb and it might give you a bad taste for the exercise to try to force it if you are not feeling up to it yet.

On the other hand, if you feel great a walk might be fun! Definitely listen to what your body is trying to tell you

Actually, I feel pretty good today - I'm down 4 lbs of water weight, feeling a little lighter and not too achy so I may just venture out with the baby for a walk this evening after dinner. The only prob I'm having is I'm NOT hungry and I know I need to eat, I had to basically choke down some hard boiled eggs this morning, and a cup of coffee... I'm heading in to make lunch but I'm not feeling it whatsoever. I'm going to eat some salad with grilled chicken, a hard boilded egg tossed in, some shredded cheese, and some low carb dressing.

I'm really feelin good, thanks everyone for checking in on me!

This is what my menu looked like today...

M2: 2 chicken thighs sauteed with a can of french style green beans and some olive oil and balsamic vinegar
M3: 2 slices monterey jack cheese
M4: Salad with 1/4 c romaine, 8 marinated mushrooms, 3 slices marinated red bell pepper, some bleu cheese, and some chicken (about 3 ounces)
M5: 2 shrimp and crab cakes

Feeling good... definitely going walking tomorrow!

From fitday...
Total: 969
Fat: 55 495 53%
Sat: 16 147 16%
Poly: 15 133 14%
Mono: 18 159 17%
Carbs: 24 69 7%
Fiber: 7 0 0%
Protein: 94 374 40%
Alcohol: 0 0 0%

Cals were too low, going to have to work on that - I need to get a minimum of 1200 per day up to 1500.
