godsbeloved79's Season Finale to GOAL

I truly dreaded starting this journal, because I have attempted this many times. I feel if I give up, then I will never reach my destiny. No matter how many times a man falls, as long as he can look up; he can get up! And I choose to give this WOE another try. It didn't fell me before, I fell the Plan. I have 41 lbs to lose to get back to the weight I was before I fell off the wagon. Once I get there, then I will see where the road takes me.

I know preparation is key, so I'm taking tomorrow to get some shopping done and cook lots of legal food. Please feel free to support me.

hi

hi there, congrats on starting your journal((hugs)).

preparation,persistance,keep focused.

THERE IS NO SUCCESS WITHOUT HARDSHIP

The world is so constructed that if you wish to enjoy its pleasures,
you must also endure its pains.
Like it or not, you cannot have one without the other.

Success is not measured by what you accomplish.
It's measured by the opposition you encounter,
and the courage with which you maintain your struggle against the odds.

You'll find all things are difficult before they are easy.
The greater your obstacles, the more glory in overcoming them.
So, make up your mind before you start
that sacrifice is part of the package.

No pain, no gain;
No thorns, no throne;
No cross, no crown.

You've got to go through the negative before you get to the positive.

this is the right time for you,its now or never!!

hugs and smiles

Thanks! I'm as prepared as can be, and the funny thing is that I can't wait to eat eggs, bacon and cheese for breakfast in the morning. I just need to get pass Day 1.

I am right there with you! I was down a total of 45 lbs a year ago!!! Now I have nothing to wear-ditched all the bigger clothes so I have to get busy because there is no room in my budget for clothes shopping.
I think my failure was not making it a complete woe- I need to research how to eat my old favorites a new low carb way. I smell bacon.........for breakfast! You are off to a good start!

I am right here babe. Right here.
Failure is not EVEN a remote possibility
Eating foods off plan is NOT an option
Deprivation is not in your vocabulary
You love your food choices, and you eat very well for your health
God loves you!-- forget how much you love Him. HE LOVES YOU.

Write out affirmations and post them on your mirror
You are worth it

Update Day #1

Ok. Got my work-out in (30 mins treadmill - 1.43 miles) and got the laundry finished. My eating went as planned and I'm happy that Day 1 is almost over. No headaches yet!

I MADE IT!

The day is almost over, well for me it is over now! I'm about to go to bed and I have completed a Low Carb Day!

Tomorrow will be the same as today .

note to self: NO MORE SHOPPING, NO MATTER how cheap it is. I have caught some great deals lately. I found two skirts, one for $5 and one for $12.74. Two tops - $4 each (one to wear with one of the skirts, and one that I matched up with some casual capris I already had). One skirt I matched up with a sweater I had sitting in the closet. I just couldn't leave them. So in all, I got 2 skirts and two tops for $ 27.28. I forgot to mention the Old Navy denim bermuda shorts for $9.99 .

You know I have always been a sucker for clothing, so I bought a few things that I would love to wear to church and just out on the weekends to keep me Motivated with this WOE. With the help of the good Lord; I can do this!

We are going to succeed this time! Failure is NOT an OPTION. I'll get with Amanda and see how she wants to do the Challenge......I'm game for some good ol friendly competition .

Fantastic! Yes, you are in charge! We're all responsible for what goes in our mouths. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves of that! Liking what you're eating makes a difference. Liking it makes it even more doable.

I can't tell you how excited I am for you!

Uh oh, I'm running scared! What did I get myself into?!!!

The first day of autumn is coming up soon. Let's try and exercise challenge for the season. By the end of the season, we'll determine the winner by the number of days exercised. If there is a tie, the tie breaker will be the number of minutes exercised. So we'll have to keep track of both days and minutes. We can do that in our signatures. For instance...

Autumn exercise: 10 days, 300 minutes.

It will change each time we enter our exercise. The winner will get to have this Autumn's Exercise Challenge Winner! in her signature.

Great Day! Completed 1.53 miles on the treadmill. I slept like a baby last night, but boy was I sluggish this morning. I guess that tells me that I'm out of shape . I'm upping my speed next week!
