Taking Control on my life and weight! Once and for ALL!!
Today is the 4th day doing low carb. I am feeling much more energetic, even more than before my mini KE induction. I didnt stick to KE, but added in cheese to make the dying feeling go away. It worked like a charm, my carbs are still below 20, so i guess I have kicked over to the regular induction? I think its really just my own thing LOL.
I have yet to weigh in today but I hope there is some loss. Only .5 yesterday... So my plan today is COOKING. Making things to eat so I dont just eat the easy high fat stuff. and CLEANING. My upstairs needs to be handled, all the summer clothes need to be boxed so the kids dont keep bringing them out and undoing all my worK! Finish cleaning the pots in the kitchen and organize my ebay stuff. The kids need to make up a math lesson too and finish up their journal on the nile farmers.

I finally got my DH out of the bathroom and on his way to work LOL So I got to properly weigh in. 2 lb's down!! YEAH!!
I wont hit my mini goal of 180, but i knew that 5 lbs a week is asking alot hehe.I am going to start doing my Power 90 video again today after I get the upstairs cleaned and organized. I need to reload windows on my old laptop too... must get these done... must get these done.... |

Today I am bummed and confused. I weighed this morning and it read in at 182, and then out of curiosity I took my scale off the carpet and set it on hard wood (my husband sasys it didnt effect his weight on or off the carpet but i had to see myself.) I weighed again and it said 182. Ok fine but them I took it back the carpet and it showed as 183.5 UGH I am going with the 182 and just going to say my scale is having mental problems. Its less than a year old and digital with the body fat thing. I dont think its broken, but maybe moving it made it tard out. I got 182 first so there I am sticking to it

I guess I will be changing my goals as I go along. today is my first goal day which I had set at 5 lbs but ony lost 3. Thats cool, so I added an extra goal date and reduced all of them to 4 lbs a week. I am wondering know if its even possible though.....

Ok I am PO'd at my scale. I think it was freking out afterall, I was 183.5 today and yesterday. I had already had b-fast tody when I weighed but I dought I ate more than a pound of food LOL (2 eggs and tea) So I need to deal with only having lost 1.5 pounds and its been 8 days.
I was expecting to lose all lot during the beginning, like shock my system since I was so carbed up... But its not happeneing. At this rate I wont be at goal untill like march 12th which is way longer than thought it would take. I am going to start doing Power 90 tomarrow. 6 days a week workout with resistance training It is almost 90 days untill my goal date anyway so that works out really nice. But I need to lose 3 pounds a week to get there. Is it impossible? Possibly. I would be happy with less of course. I mean I wouldnt be complaining at 155 and 165 is my normal fat weight haha. But this 185 crap has got to GO. I feel like a alien...a vry flabby wiggly bumpy alien. HAHAI am also going to go to Kansas City and get all my books at the library there. I need to pick them up before they go off hold anyway And I will READ the atkins book. I am sure I am doing things wrong, but I didnt want to lose my opp to jump in when I had reached my breaking point last week. So thats it for today Hopefully everything will go better from now on. The house is starting to look like a house again. So hopefully I can get it under control and start my business back up as well. What I would really like is my living room, dining room and kitchen to finally be installed!!! I cant stand looking at it now and seeing it in boxes! I need it up and functional so we can feel like we have a normal house! A year is way to long to wait! I can wait no loger! I am going to start doing it myself if he doesnt start! |

Weighed in today and FINALLY it shows 182 again... I m half expecting it to be up again tomarrow though. I am going to try and start drinking water more as of....tomarrow....really! I think I am going to have to work up to 64 ounces though, Start with one and add an additional each day.....GULP Maybe I am retaining a bunch of water? (WISHFUL THINKING) I also need to remember to take BOTH my iron pills
I dont like them. I had 3 cups of popcorn yesterday and went a little over on carbs. I am hoping I didnt totally botch my chances for losing this week. |

Hey! I need to drink more water too! I have been at 174-175 lbs. for it seems like forever...I thought I'd be in the 160's range by now...Anyway, I examined what could possibly be the problem and ....H20 is it I think. Bottoms up!

I will be honest with you, I obtain fluids. I dont drink water as of yet. I drink coffee, tea, diet soda... lots of it.... but no plain water. When I was a teen I would get myself to drink a ton of water by chewing on starbursts at the same time...or eating chips and super hot salsa in contests... but I havent ever been a water drinker. I know I should, and it will lessen the sodium I get from diet soda I am sure. I just joined the XX away by X-mas thread :P |

Ladies....I know you will hate to hear this, but WATER IS THE KEY!!!! I can gauge my morning scale experience by the amount of water I've had the day before!! My trick for drinking more water is SF gum (kinda like drinking water with Starbursts...ha). Whenever I put a fresh piece of gum in my mouth, I am able to down a 24 oz jug...it just makes that fresh taste travel all through my system. I love it!

OOOOh thats a great idea! I know what you mean, I would just keep chuging untill the starburst taste was gone LOL I am going to try that one! Thanks!!!

Today's plan is to fnish cleaning the house, I need to finish laundry, vacuum, clean pots and pans and straighten up what the kids undid the last 3 days.
After that I need to find my camera and take pictures of ALL my ebay stuff I need to get rid of. I need to make math worksheets for this week's school and figure out the best day to go to the library next week. I need to pick up lettuce at the store...I am sure there is something else too? Cant think of it now LOL I also need to finish up on the custom order, The unicorn needs legs still! and details. I HAVE to do that today! Started out as a bad day but now I am happy. I weighed in this morning at 183.5 but after about an hour, some coffee and another trip to the restroom I decided to let the thing try again LOL This time it said 181.5.... Really weird! i tested it over and over on had wood so I am pretty sure its right but the way its been going up and down I am seriously suspecting that it has some sort of malfunction! I dont think right after waking is the best time for me to weigh I think I am going to make is a habit that I do it after coffee. LOL (maybe its my malfunction) All in all things are looking better, scale moving, I can see my floor again, kids are getting into the swing of school, and I am getting used to my husband being away at work during the day. (new job) |

I am enjoying your journal. I just started mine last week. Its keeping me honest knowing people are checking in on my daily progress. So I'll be checking in on yours!!! Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks for the weight loss to "kick in". Not sure why, but some folks don't lose much the first couple of weeks and then it starts to fall off. Stick with it!! |

I suck. i didnt start P90. going to doc today to try and convince her to allow me to get my t3 t4 and antibodies tested JUST in case it is more than anemia.... that and find out if there is anything I can do for the insomnia, headaches and constipation.... UGH maybe I will get my arse in gear and start todya.
