I still have not lost the weight I have been struggling with like forever!
I can't give up hope. Last nights dinner did not go as planned. I didnt get home until almost 10:00 and the day was non stop. Dinner sucked.
Breakfast: 1/2 a sausage roll, 1 swallow strawberry milk. (sons leftovers)
Lunch: Chef salad with ranch (Yummy!)
Dinner: hamburger patties, revolution rolls

I'm going to boil some eggs later and make some revolution rolls, never had them before. Im running late, gotta go.

Im actually going to eat the eggs tonight!
I have to be creative with eggs and hamburger so I dont get bored and turn to carbs.
Ive never made the revolution rolls before so Im hoping that that will be a good way to eat egg sandwhich.
I love omlettes with anything and everything
and boiled eggs are good smushed up and nuked with butter, salt and pepper.
I like the yolk of eggs in fried eggs, Im hoping that would taste good on top of a toasted revolution roll and ham.
Egg salad is always a great make ahead filling snack. If Im in ketosis, a couple bites of egg salad keep me from boredom picking.
Eating eggs in a mock danish is a great desert.
I love quiche too.
I always had trouble boiling eggs because the shells would stick and I got awesome advice on this website on how to fix that problem.
I put balsalmic vinegar in the water, wait for it to come to a hard boil before I add the eggs and then cook for 17 minutes. Works everytime, the shells are darker (so I know which ones are boiled) and there is no vinegar taste at all.
Hope that helps.
The protein shake helps me out with breakfast. I feel better all day if I drink one with my morning food.

my revolution rolls turned out awful! Couldnt eat them at all. I did something wrong.
5:00 1/2 cup cottage cheese, diet dr.pepper
8:00 double Hood protein drink and 1 boiled egg
12:00 chef salad from home with ham, cheese, ranch dressing and boiled egg
the rest of the day depends on what time I get home
Maybe I can get the family to the Y tonight! That would be so awesome.
Took a biochem test this AM. Wow, this calss is going to be ok. The test wasnt as difficult as it could have been. Teacher is kind (Whew!)
Onward to a quiz and two more tests this week. ANd I still need to take care of everything else (home, kids, DH, exercise, and down time)
This weekend Ill have a few bucks more than usual. I hoping after I pay the bills and take care of some other things I can fill our our chest freezer with good safe food.
Have a great day Indy

I almost ran head long into a binge.
Im tired and that causes bad cravings.
The double protein drink was not a good idea, didnt feel right afterwards.
so...I took my stressful test then I ate my salad for lunch, so notfull, I still wanted more.
I went to Walmart to get a couple things I needed and bought a low carb yogurt smoothie. Bad idea! Cravings shot throught the roof!
I seriously wanted chocolate or any other thing. I knew that one thing would not satisfy me and Id end up binging and still feel bad. The discomfort of being too full is just as bad as the discomfort of feeling too empty. (well...maybe)
I bought some SF mints and a diet coke instead.
I may be eating too much cheese right now and other SF things to start losing but I'm really wanting to change behavior patterns.
I really need a clear mind and stable emotions.
If I had binged I wouldnt want to go to the gym. Its too depressing to go and work hard knowing I already sabotaged my efforts with food.
Yea me
another pattern I have is that after I forego a binge I end up binging that night or the next morning. The devil is just waiting for me to let my guard down.
Im going to attempt revolution rolls again tonight.

Ok....my revolution rolls turned out pretty good and I ate them all with 5 rings of yellow squash and eggs.
So, I will not be making them again for awhile. At least there wasnt much to them, eggs, 3 tablespoons cottage cheese, 1 packet splenda...I could have done alot worse.
Before bed I had a Peanut butter milkshake made with Hood milk, chocolate protein powder, ice and about a tablespoon of peanut butter.
I will be shocked if I start losing weight but I feel better.

Today:
Breakfast: boiled eggs and Diet Dr. Pepper

Lunch: salad from home with ham, cheese, cottage cheese, boiled eggs, ranch and celery with cream cheese. Everything is in small portions but it adds up to a good filling salad. 12 ounce diet dr. pepper
I know, I know...thats alot of cheese

Dinner: Big omlette with a little bit of peppers and onions

snacks if needed: boiled eggs, or Hood protein drink
I didnt have any sugary or carby junk and my body has been yelling at me for it. Ill eat what I want and need low carby and see if I can still hit ketosis.

I havent been around for awhile but all is well.
weight this AM: 269
Im eating what everyone else is eating in the family but in small portions and adding a whole lotta veggies and adding a protein drink in the AM, just because I feel good when I do. Atkins is just not working for me. I get my calories too high maybe. Ive learned alot about good carbs though and Im making much wiser food choices.
When the family ate McDonalds Ice cream last night, I had a cone and I didnt stress out. I think Im starting to find a happy medium with my food.
My family and I are recommiting to the YMCA monday, wednsdays and fridays.
My study schedule is going to be insane, starting today, until October 21st when I go and take the pharmacy college entrance exam.
God is good and I feel confident that if I work hard he will bless my mind with understanding. I believe in miracles.
I finally bought some new clothes at Lane Bryant. I asked one of the ladies working there to help me pick the right jeans for my body type and I feel like I look 50 pounds lighter. I may not look it, but I feel it.
I even got my hair done this week end and I feel 100% better about my appearence, even though not one person here at school commented on it. I swear I feel invisible here. Oh, well.
I got alot of house work done yesterday and that helps me feel postive about this week too!
Onward!

Good for you for not letting the ice cream deter you. Finding balance and not punishing yourself (as many of us often do) is so important!

It's also great that you did some nice things for yourself. It's important for us girls to feel pretty, isn't . I love your title. When I saw it I just had to read!
