Hi guys. It has been such a hectic week!! I found out my exams are a week early so I am a little panicky! I've been sticking to my plan but I know that I've put on a little weight. but this week I am going to be good.

I'm taking the week off work to study but I'm also playing softball. I met the team on Saturday and they seem like a nice bunch of people. Our first game is this Sunday and tonight we are practicing. After a whole day in the library I'll definitely need to be outside.

My menu today:
Lunch- some cheese
Dinner- kebab without the pita

I love kebab!!

Wow! Australia!! My aunt lives in Melbourne but I haven't visited her. My DH has family there too so we have thought about taking a trip there! It must be beautiful! Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi!

Hi there! I am done my exams!

Freedom!! Yippee! It still hasn't hit me that I have a break from studying. I have been studying non stop for the past 2 years and now I have my first break.. It is surreal! I can finally sleep in on the weekends and not stress all the time! What a weight off my shoulders.

Played our first softball game on Sunday. We played a Japanese team- we lost 24-2 It was so much fun!

I took 2 days off from eating right- Sunday and last night. I figured that that was fine due to my exams.. I ate a really carby meal last night and felt like I was 5 months pregnant. My stomach was sticking out so much and DH kept petting it.. It was

I'm back at work after a week off.. no one is in yet- is it a holiday? That would be a typical thing to happen to me!

My plan for today:
low carb chocolate and coffee
Lunch: some baby bels
Dinner: still thinking.. Not sure yet.. hmmm...

I am in Brisbane where my daughter and her husband are living. It is a lovely city. Today we took a lovely trip along the river which winds through the city in a lovley way. The weather is perfect.

Tomorrow we fly 2 hours north to the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. It is the Anzac day National holiday and we are taking holiday appartments for three days. Looking forward to some snorkling and glass bottomed boat excersions. Too old to do the scuba anymore.

So glad your studies are over for a while, sounds as if you are having a lovely time with your DH....happy days.

Kissa- your trip sounds amazing!!

Well, I have been MIA recently and I can see how it has affected my eating. I am up 6 pounds I really need to start monitoring everything I am eating and stop taking little bites of legal things My self control has gone out the window.. So, today I am taking the day off- DH and I are going to a lake near Vienna and spending the night- I can'T wait!! For breakfast today I had scrambled eggs (4) and one slice of cheese and 3 tbsp of Hollandaise sauce. Not sure where we will be eating tonight but I am going to be good and stick to plan!!

Also, I am going to try and have smaller dinners at night. I know that always kick starts my weightloss!

Better start packing! Yippee!! Mini holiday!

Just came back from a lovely night away. We went to a town called Rust. It is famous for its storks. The birds build nests on the chimneys and it absolutely gorgeous. The town is filled with wine taverns and I had a blast. Bad me had pizza last night.. I am disappointed with myself. I really want to get lower before my trip to Canada May 23rd.. 3 weeks! I am going to super strict- no allowances at all!! No justifications! No cheating..

So far today I have had:

a portion of scrambled eggs
2 slices of cheese
1 slice of crisp bread (3.7 carbs per serving)

Tonight I will probably have the grilled chicken salad from MacDonalds... I am also going to start packing lunches. For the next 3 weeks I am going to have 2 slices of crisp bread (7.4 carbs) with gouda cheese (the old stuff cause it tastes superb ) and dinners will be light- salads or soups. I am going to get to 116 by the time I leave! No if or buts about it. Need to kick my derriere into gear!!

I can do this!

Should probably cut down on the wine consumption too

Didn't have salad but instead 3 cheeseburgers and crisp bread with cheese..

My total carb count for today is:

Not bad considering... My goal for tomorrow is to be at least below 20... It was a nice day- walked around Vienna and looked at the gardens around the palace... It was lovely..

Tomorrow my menu is:

coffee with cream
1 large crisp bread (4.8) with two slices gouda
Large caesar salad

Well- had a great workout and am back at work Want to be on holiday still! I can't believe I am going to Canada in 3 weeks! Crazy! Brought my lunch today:

2 crisp bread (2X4.8)
Gouda Cheese

For dinner I will have a salad at TGIFriday's and a Diet Coke.

Tomorrow I am meeting a friend for drinks around 8 but before that I have softball practice so I will have to eat something at the pub- not sure yet but I am sure there is something there I can eat.. I need to lose at least 10 pound before I go! This is really important! I have been way too lax recently and the pounds have been creeping up

Just had my two crisp bread with gouda cheese. So good but I could eat more. Instead of bringing the whole box with me of crackers- I only pack two so I don't over eat. Looked at the menu for TGIFridays and it looks like they have a great salad which I'll have tonight.. DOn't want to be at work.. boring boring boring...

Just had 3 baby bels as a snack.. Yummy. I find that cheese is the best thing to have to kill my cravings. Have has 7 glasses of water so far today! 5 more glasses to go!

I have also decided that for the next three weeks I am going to try and work out twice a day during the week- really need to get into shape and want to look fantastic for Toronto!!

Well, I am proud of myself. Yesterday I had a large chicken salad (I never order salad when I'm out).. but the price was insane- 11 Euros for it- in Canadian that works out to approximately 3,000 dollars.

I also worked out when I got home and worked out this morning too! I have episodes of the Bachelor Rome. Wow have I missed American TV... It is a totally different thing!

Tonight I have softball practice and then I am meeting my friend for our twice a month drinking Thursdays.. We are dangerous together and we are going to Canada together which should be hilarious. She is from Croatia and has never been to the Great North- I can't wait to see her reaction!

For lunch today I will have Babybels and for dinner- maybe a burger or something.. I am so glad I am back on track- it is starting to feel a lot better..

Got on the scale and I am at 123... And I know I have lost weight the last couple of days so I must have been at 126 at least.. Aarrghh. I went out last night and had a lot of fun but now I am paying for it- very very very sleepy..

Had 3 crisp things (total 12 carbs) with cheese. For dinner it will most likely be cheeseburgers.. I want to get to 120 by next week. My mini goal is 117 by May 23rd when I leave for Toronto.

I've upped my workouts and am having smaller meals. It will take a while to get used to not eating so much.

Hopefully I can get out of the office earlier today.. Want to spend some time with the Dh- I'm going out alone again tonight- maybe I can convince him to come.. We'll see!

You have done so well, right back on track. I am struggluing a bit with alcohol consumption but thanks to the fact my daughter is a a serious Atkins eater my food is bang on track.

Today she made me buy a new swimsuit, and boy do I look better in it than the one I have been wearing for the past 3 years.

I so love finding your news, feels like we really know each other, no matter where we are.

Hi Kissa! Good to hear that you are having a good trip! I'll be visiting my sister soon and I know it will be tough to convince her not to make carby food. She has no patience for diets- but she was blessed with a great metabolism so she doesn't understand! Thanks for dropping by. It must be the "third culture" kid syndrome- that is why we can relate!

On Saturday I had way too many margaritas! I know it was bad but at least I didn't go completely off track. This week I will be staying away from alcohol for the most part.

It will be a busy week! I am having a baby shower at my apartment for a friend on Saturday morning- but the preparation will be nuts! On Thursday night I have softball practice - maybe and then on Friday I am starting Salsa lessons. I probably have to meet up with a friend Wednesday night for a little bit too.. So so so busy!!

Today''s menu:
2 crisp bread thingies
Cheese spread
low carb lasagna.

I am going to have at least 12 glasses of water- and I have to only have a small piece of lasagna!

Have had 4 glasses of water so far- it is really filling me up. Just had my lunch- a little early 12:30 but oh well.

I worked out this morning and tonight I will work out again..

Usually I don't work out more than 4-5 times a week but with my trip so close I really need these pounds to come off!

This is the story:

I attended a high school for two years until the end of grade ten. I had friends but I wasn't popular and I was never ever ever asked out. It was an International school in Europe. At the end of Grade ten my family relocated to another country and I finished my last 2 years of high school there. What a difference I tell you. It was a tiny school but suddenly I was popular and received male attention (I had lost weight). Popularity to me means well liked.. The other type should be banned My last year of high school I was school president and prom queen- my grade had 18 people so it really wasn't a huge accomplishment but it gave me confidence and reassured me that there are people in this world who accept you as you.

Anyway, I am blabbing. The wedding I am going to will be for someone from the first high school I attended and several of the guests will be from that school as well. I haven't seen them in 10 years and many of them were not so kind to me. I want to look good. This is so silly of me but I think it will be nice to close a chapter in my life... I know kids can be cruel- I did bad things too

I just can't wait to walk in with my head held high knowing that I am so happy, have an absolutely amazing husband, and am looking alright (I want to say hot but I get nervous about outright vanity)

Ofcourse, I should be saying to myself "what do I care what they think" as that would show that I am a completely secure and confident woman but a small part of me is doing it for the Hollywood moment. Like Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn or Judy Garland in Easter Parade. Wow, this is embarassing!

Well, that's my story and one reason I am really pushing myself at this moment.

Well, I worked out last night for 35 minutes and also this morning. Still feeling a little bloated which is frustrating- I think I had too much lasagna last night. Tonight I am making fajitas and I am going to try and eat a small amount. I also plan to work out again tonight. I was great with my water yesterday- I hope I can do the same today.

It's only Tuesday and I wish it were Friday... Oh well.

Worked out again last night.. It was bad though because when I got home I was starving and ate some lasagna and then had 2 bunless cheeseburgers- then I worked out..

Today I haven't been great either!! I had some sugar free chocolate- almost ate a ton more but threw the rest out.. Sitting in the garbage by my desk but thank goodness I am not tempted! Also, I've been eating these crunchy peanut things all morning

What is wrong with me? Tonight we are having the fajitas and I am going to try and keep my portion small.

I worked out this morning- only 20 minutes and tonight I will try and work out 40 minutes and do 100 sit ups as well. I just feel bloated and I hate it!!

My carbs are most probably above 20 now and it is only the middle of the day! Need to be stricter!!

Meeting a friend for a couple of drinks tonight- just wine- no more margaritas for me

Stay strong! You need to do this!!

It was a crazy weekend!! The baby shower I had for my friend lasted 8 hours but my friend really seemed to enjoy it!!

On Saturday I went off plan but I don't mind because I am back on track. Last night I went to a picnic in the palace gardens- it was so lovely!! I had great wine and the people were so much fun to talk to- but I got home later than I wanted to. Tonight I will stay at home and spend some time with the husband!

Not sure what to have for dinner but think it will be light- salad and mozzarella!

Ok.. I'm back! I have gained 13 pounds in the last couple of months and I am angry at myself! One taste here, one taste there!

Things have been a little crazy the last little while. I have met some great friends from the expat community and I don't think I have been happier in a long time- friends wise..

I quit my job a week ago and I am now a kept woman.. well, until I find a new job.. sigh..

I have decided to get back onto Induction and work my heiney off to get back to 120. I worked so hard and now I am up 13 freaking pounds!!

Why would I do this to myself?

So now is the first day back on the wagon and I am going to finally get to my goal weight. I have no control when it comes to portion sizes. The only thing that works it Atkins!

I have started today with an egg fast. I want to jump start my metabolism and get going. Tomorrow I will also do an egg fast.

On Wednesday I will start with some strawberry cream cheese smoothies for 2 days and then start to introduce other low carb foods. By then I should be in ketosis and my appetite will be supressed. Thank goodness it is hot!! I am not craving heavy food!

So far today I have had:
2 fried eggs
Egg pancake (2 eggs) with a little bit of soy sauce
Tonight I will have 3 softboiled eggs

It's time to get back on track and get a bikini body before the summer ends! I can do it! I am back!!

My first mini goal is to reach 125 and when I do I am rewarding myself with a new bikini. That's just over 8 pounds and hopefully I can make it by the end of next week. I am upping my exercise these next couple of weeks since I have a lot of time on my hands now. I am trying to do a session of 50-60 minutes on my cross trainer and 30-40 minutes as well. I am so happy to be back! I missed this journal!

I have been down to goal and am now back up to 125 and feeling roly poly. I am trying to be good this week too.
