Fitting into those SkinnyJeans
I figured I'd try my hand at this journaling thing, to keep me real. I love to cook and experiment with recipes, so I'll talk to myself about it here. I also want to keep track of my menus. My plan is to "officially" start on September 1, but I don't intend to eat anything carby in the meantime. I will be following Atkins, but will not be eating any frankenfoods, such as low carb bars and other products. Things such as Davinci syrups are ok for me. Also, I plan to subtract fiber. Weigh-ins once a month. Limited coffee and diet sodas - I really want to work on increasing my water intake. At least 20-30 minutes on the Gazelle each day, and I hope to incorporate pilates at one point.
So, off I go. |

Grrr! I ate badly over the weekend. I have company and it's hard for me to stay on plan when there are potato bread hamburger buns around. But today, I will be on plan. I'm not hungry right now, but I'll have to force myself to eat a hard boiled egg before we head out for half a day of off shore fishing.

OK, I truly suck. I've not been on plan. This weekend, I ate nothing but junk. Grrrr!!!! There is still ice cream in the freezer. If I can resist, it will be a miracle.
I have a whole chicken in the crock pot. I have a dozen and a half hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator. I have bags of lettuce. I can do this. I can do this. Right? I can do this. On a positive note, I stepped on the scale this morning. I was really expecting bad numbers, and would not have been surprised to see a gain. But I weighed in at 189.5. I'll take that. |

Grrrr. Not sticking to plan so well, but I was at least able to resist the urge to buy candy under stressful situations!
