Move it to LOSE it
In the last two years I have gained around 20 lbs and went through a bad break up that lasted a year. I realize I keep the wrong kind of people in my life to even out my own self esteem issues. I am 22 now and in the best position in my life. I just moved on my own, my own place, my own choices. And it is now time to work on me. Every day counts, time for a emotional, physical, and spirit change in my life. My first goal is to work my butt off to lose 50lbs then an overall of 100 +, LC and working out 1 hour 5/6 days a week.
Day 1: Week 1: b: 4 sausage links celery with creme cheese Green tea L: Meatloaf broc with ranch cheese snack D: taco salad water, diet pepsi ![]()

Thank you Indy, very motivating words. I got some lower back pain recently in the last month (also a reason to start back on LC to get the weight off) and it acted up a little today walking around campus. I made an effort to park further away and walk it. I am glad I did it. Those 4 flights of stairs I walked, made me feel like I was going to pass out, sad. Great thing about having school on a large campus, is you can walk and walk and no one knows your working out, you have plenty of space , different scenic paths, and a load of books on your back to make ya sweat. Plus it was a HOOOOT! day today. Kind of icky to go to class sweaty, so I have to plan to give myself a nice cool down.
I am also in Ketosis, this is day 2 L: Little salad with feta, onion, tomo, olives, and feta. Paul Newman's Cesar Dressing. Also finished off my taco salad meat from last night's dinner with sour creme and cheese. (wasn't much left, and didnt want it just sitting in there, so it wasn't overeating at lunch). D: Baked chicken with melted pepper jack cheese and stir fry veggies, 1 cup A great way for me to eat this way and keep it cheap and other reasons, is to make enough at dinner and have left overs for lunch everyday... cause I know being ketosis, my meals will get smaller I love checking out LC forum while im cooking dinner! Ok, here is what I ate today:
B: sausage, green tea S: celery cream chesse L: left over chicken / veggies, little cheese D: Salad with bacon, turkey, feta, dressing etc.. Had abt 6 shrimp with cocktail sauce WATER Need to watch my results after this week, may need to cut back on cheese. I am trying to watch it. Need to eat more eggs too, but i have trouble getting up in time in the morning.. workin on it ![]() |

Another stressful day at work, hopefully this weekend will go smoothly. I have 4 big weddings this weekend, and unknown to the customers I did all of their cakes today for tomorrow
I am pretty tired right now. Mom and I made a deal, if I lose 20 by my birthday (oct 14th) she will buy me a treadmill. AWESOME. I've wanted one for so long, its my fav way to excerise. I think I can lose more then that by then. I am in about 4 days now and I dont think I am in deep ketosis just yet, just about moderate. No cravings, but hungry pains for sure. I also treated myself to a new scale, because my old one was wacky! Numbers just all over the place. So, I spent a little extra $ and got a nice one ill be confident in. B: Skipped, overslept S: SF jello, diet pepsi, string cheese L: Shrimp, broc, cali with ranch, water D: Eggs and bacon. Green tea Water.. G,night |

Just a quick entry. I tried that string cheese meets bread stick recipe from the board. OMG, it is soooooo yummie. Gonna go spread the word.

Monet, its just string cheese, put it in a hot pan just let it melt down till its golden brown then add some garlic powder. I was suprised how good it was to just be melted cheese. funny..

Hi Hi. Busy busy Sunday, mom is moving this week, I have lift boxes up and down, suprise, suprise... I actually have tons of engergy. I started this WOL at the right time.

Was off today, lots of moving... whooooooo I worked up a good sweat.
Tomorrow is my offical weigh in for my first week. Last Tuesday I was 240. I am hoping for 5 lbs down Today's Menu: B: Late start - Diet Pepsi L: Onion Soup - 8 carbs / 1 cup (I didn't finish the whole thing) Moz. cheese and a small salad. Start of Week 2: I am down 6lbs

This week is so crazy busy. First week back to school, ive already had to miss. Trying to help my mom move, though she is so disorganized and not packed!! I was gone from 7-after 10 last night. My mom and brother wanted to stop at fast food real quick to eat and I didnt. I said to myself im sticking to plan and I will just go home and make something. I just have a few mins to post,
At work yesterday, there as these little recipe cards laying by my cake area that were for low carb recipes. I was like... how did these get here? is this a sign? There is a couple I would like to try when things slow down. Menu: B: Sausage, green tea L: left over chicken stry fry with soy sauce ( found one with 0 carbs!) D: I have no idea whats for dinner, my frig is low By the way, thanks Monet for the encourgement ! I saw that you posted no loss for this week. Its going to happen to the best of us, but we keep going because we shall get there !!!!! Much ![]() |
