Cathie's One More Tim

Just a newbie to the boards but not to LCing. I really kicked myself in the rear and lost about 80 lbs 3 years ago but in the last two have managed to put about 50 of it back on again...sigh.
I am not sure what my weight is right now and I tend to be happier when I don't know except that it helps you feel like you are making progress doesn't it?
I have been back to a real Lc life about a month or so and exerciseing again which is what helps me keep losing. My goal is to be a size 10 or medium (and I know that for some of you that isn't good enough but for me it is) when I go on my 30th anniversary cruise in Nov 2006. I am a size 18 on bottom and 16 on top right now. I am sure I can loose it but it will be keeping it off that will really challenge me.
It has been interesting reading some of your successes and difficulties and also good to know that I am NOT the only one who has ups and downs.

Hi to anyone who cares LOL
Today is a great LC day so far
I made it to the Rec Center for a class that was cancelled but I did 25 min on the eliptical and then about 30 min in the weight room
Sweated and strained and feel pretty good
So far for meals:
Breakfast: Carbwise bar...didn't want to work out on an empty stomach
Snack: Polish sausage at Costco with mustard and light onions
Lunch: Ham and cheese rolled up with fried cheese chips
Dinner: (Not sure yet but will edit tonight)
Looked for the Frying Cheese in Wallyworld and we have the dipping kind but not the frying kind
Gotta get packed for my trip so better get busy

Just had a chance to buy and read The Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program and I am thinking of trying out this varriation of of LCing. I am hoping that maybe the change will help me get out of my slump since I dont' seem to be losing anyweight the way I had previously done.
I have stayed pretty much on task with the LC but not so regular with my exercise so that might be causing the problem also.
Let's see how it goes

I decided I need to make a record of my weekly averaging totals since when I change the signature I loose the info from the week before. Iwish I had thought of this about 3 weeks earlier. I am also going to keep track of my daily meals and exercise as well since on the two threads I follow I don't get any feedback by listing them anyway.
So yesterdays food had mostly good but not enough with the family Halloween party I didn't get my RM salad so I am probably going to see that affect soon

Sunday NOv 12
This was my weekly average last week
200 -193 -188 -(vacation) 190- 188.3- 186.1- 188.8-185.8-183.03- 180.3-178.8- 178.9
weekly averaging 11-5-06
179- 178.6- 178- 178.8- 178.8- 179.4-179.6

A very discouraging week is it not? I know that I am not doing the wrong things because my bs is staying low and I am fitting into smaller clothes I just don't understand what caused last weeks ups.
Hopefully it will be a thing of the past now. I think the thing that is so discouraging is that my plan was to be at 170 by the end of this week and if I had been losing like I did 3 years ago I would be there. 10 a month shouldn't be that hard considering I have NOT cheated since I returned home from the trip to PA. I have regularly exercised and am drinking tons of water and no soda pop at all. I am just hoping my body is adjusting again and will get back to losing again.
I also have decreased my Ameryl to only 1/2 a pill a day and it seems to be working out just fine if my meter isn't off today first thing my overnight fasting was 102 which should be acceptable.
yesterday's food
B: 1 babybel cheese, omlet with pepper bacon and cheese
L: leftover chicken thigh 2 celery stalks
D: McD's grilled Caesar salad with dressing, about 8 oz diet Coke which tasted awful and a pumpkin cake donut from Krispy Kreame
Exercise weights workout at the fitness center
Water about 100oz

I haven't been posting my menus lately...I guess I really should but it takes time and I have not wanted to spend the time writing it down.
I am so excited to see the 169.something on the scale this week...after that huge stall of 4 weeks it seemed I would never start losing again but finally it had happened. I am now 1/2 way to my goal of 140...I wonder how long it will take me. I was aiming for 10 a month but with stalls like I had before who knows what will happen. If it works out as I hope by April 1 I should be to 140 and since April 3 was my youngest sister's birthday it would be a nice rememberance of her to reach my goal on her birthday.
I won't won't wont give up and plan on doing this the rest of my life! I want to be slim and healthy and I deserve it!
Merry Christmas To Me!

Weight goals for 2007
1. Stay on plan for eating...that is a given but I am working on finding some foods that can be done ahead of time for lunches etc...gonna cruise the receipe section in the next few days
2. Drink at least 80 oz water each day Usually not hard for me but sometimes when I am away from home running here and there I forget my water mug then end up not drinking the way I should
3. Cut down on cheese. I am thinking I am eating way too much cheese and that might be holding me back a bit too. I love cheese and it makes a quick and easy addition to lunch and snacks
4. Only "dessert" twice a week until at goal That means AS stuff as well as regular stuff allowed on my WOE
5. Continue working out 5-6 days a week cardio and weights Continue with my classes at the fitness center
6. Expect STALLS and don't get discouraged...OK I can get discouraged but don't give up!
7. Try at least one new recipe a week to keep from getting bored of meals
Especially breakfast and lunch ideas
