---LOCarb Days---

Like others..I'm journaling to keep myself accountable.
I probably should've started this journal from the first day.
It's been tough...and I almost gave it up several times

I've been in induction for the last 5 days...and so far I've been able to keep with it. It hasn't been easy. The last three days I've had a migraine and so many times I thought just grab something really carby and eat it and the headache will go away..

....but I didn't give up or give in and today the headache is gone and I've lost 4 lbs in 4 days~today is day 5

So I celebrated with a big breakfast of Bacon and eggs
For Dinner I'm planning for some Lemon Pepper Catfish and Spinach Salad
Maybe supper will be White Castle Casserole.

I'm so glad I stuck with it...and didn't cave in

Now..it's time for my walk ..LOL...

Welll, It's day six and tommorrow I'll celebrate a whole week of this

I ended up having leftovers for supper last nite but made the casserole for
dinner today..it was very good.
I woke up late so I skipped breakfast.
Ribs off the BBq tonite... ,,I'm being good...prob with a salad.

I skipped my walk today cause I slept in and it was too hottt....I usually don't walk on Sunday because of church so....I'll be back at it monday.
The scale was up 1lb today but they always bounce around with me...
When I started the diet...the next day I was down a 1lb then it came back then I was down 2lbs then 1lb came back then I lost that one plus 2 more.

So I try not to flip out about the scales...
My ketostix are purple and I'm not so hungry. Been very thirsty today..but I took care of that with alot of water. I can tell my clothes are loose in the arms and legs.

I still don't have a set "goal", and I don't want to go by the scale as my goal because i will get too annoyed if it goes up and down and sticks...etc. I will keep up with it to keep from sliding and keep it in my stats tho...

otherwise to the scale

so right now I'm just gonna take it 1 size at a time as my mini goals....

First Minigoal ~Size 14

Well...I didn't get to journal yesterday,,too busy..
but I stayed on my plan
despite alot of eating out yesterday.
Mom called and asked me to take her to the doc for her arthritis appt.
and the doc is close to 150 miles away so it was a long trip...

Let me see if I can remember...yesterday's menu
I had eggs and bacon for breakfast, Chicken salad from Mcdonalds for lunch,
and Chicken Fajita's at CuCo's for supper-no tortilla, no rice, no beans.
And I only got to do part of my walk, but that's better than nothing 1 mile
versus the 3 miles that I usually do.

Today was better, I got my 3 miles in...and lemme see...
the menu is sausage and eggs for breakfast, lunch was tuna salad,
supper will be Roast cooked in onions/mushrooms and green beans.

You're doing really great! Such a great attitude (sticking out your tongue at the scales) You seem very in touch with your body and that's so important!

Thanks GRAN4~ Them ole scales get me aggravated...LOL

I'm just setting my sights on my sizes ... when I came here I was upset
because my clothes were either too tight or just wouldn't fit at all

Now they either are fitting me or getting looser everyday

I didn't walk today, since I had to work, and run my errands, pay bills..etc
but I got plenty of exercise doing all that in such a rush..
This had been such a hectic week for me...
I'm having such a time trying to get my walk..and this evening it's thundering..

Breakfast was Omelet with Crystal Lite Sunrise,
..dinner was a steak and salad, diet cream soda
Supper will be cheesburger-no bun, Diet Pepsi One
Snack --Jerky

Well..got my walk in today.

Had the blues earlier...and it's got me snacking all morning but I've stayed lo -carb with it~~

......and I keep a tally of my carb count on fitday.
For breakfast- Eggs and Sausage,
Dinner- cheeseburger
Snacks- Tuna melt, Olives, etc....
Supper-dunno will prob snack some more (locarb)
_________--not really wanting a big meal this evening.

I've been very thirsty today as well...I'm pretty good about drinking my water...
but today I have been more than usual.

Last time I was in a snacking mood like this I lost a few lbs..tom is still late
That could be a factor as well...guess I'll find out soon enough

Gonna go do some yard work, keep my head out the fridge.

It's Friday!
Two more days of induction...I'm so glad I made it this far..I can taste the victory

Breakfast-Ham n Eggs
Dinner- Rabbit and Green Salad
Supper-Chicken Breast

I enjoyed getting out in the yard yesterday evening, will probably do it again today.
Got alot done in the yard, it gets much cooler outside once the sun starts going down.
I've got alot of great ideas for fall, can't wait to get started on them, but trying to be patient.
It's too early for those plantings right now.

I lit the tiki torches once it got dark....and we had a bonfire in the firepit.
It was a beautiful night, the stars were everywhere.
DH had a beer, and I had Crystal Lights Lemonade.
We just sat out on the deck in the swing and talked
