Ev's Journal
Ok, this is it. The place where I document my journey ... getting to goal and maintaining PERMANENTLY. There. I. Said. It.
Here's how I'm doing it: 1. Following BFFM, roughly 50-30-20 ratios, carb tapering and zig-zagging. Following a 3-day low cycle with a high/free day then beginning again. I was successful with BFFM in '04 and it WILL work for me again. In fact, it's already started! Some numbers so far: 6/12 Weight - 210 Bodyfat - 37.5 Pounds fat - 79.8 Lean body mass - 130 6/19 Weight - 205 Bodyfat - 36.6 Pounds fat 75.8 Lean body mass - 129.2 6/30 Weight - 202 Bodyfat - 35.6 Pounds fat - 72.7 Lean body mass - 129.3 Will weigh and measure every 3rd "cycle" or so.

Affirmations/Goals
My short and long-term goals are in my signature.
Reasons for these goals: 1. To look better. 2. To be the healthiest I can be. 3. To delay aging. 4. To feel as good as I can. 5. To avoid any medical problems. 6. To avoid family hx of diabetes, high blood pressure. 7. To increase energy. 8. To continue to increase self-confidence Affirmations: 1. I am so happy to be fit, trim, and toned. 2. I am thankful to be at 18% bodyfat. 3. I am grateful to have this flat tummy. 4. I am thrilled that I have no cellulite on my butt and thighs. 5. I love that my thighs are solid and tight. 6. I am excited that I can wear sleeveless tops and look great. 7. I fit into my slinky tops and they glide over my hips. 8. I love that my size 10 pants fit so perfectly. 9. I look great in low-rise jeans. 10. I love that food is no longer an issue to me. I eat healthfully, joyfully, and selectively. 11. My clean eating and consistent exercise habits are so ingrained into my lifestyle that they will be with me for the rest of my life. 12. I'm a great role model for others. |

Today is going to be a bit challenging. We're going to court with Emiliano and I have no idea how long we'll be. He's extremely anxious and he finds out today about financial restitution, community service, and alcohol diversion programs, etc.
So, I'll start out with cottage cheese and fruit this a.m. I'll pack up a chilled EAS shake and a banana because that's always great to have as a mini-meal. This is a great opportunity to integrate what I KNOW into the "real world." My life isn't always going to be about pre-planned meals and schedules that don't change. It ain't rocket science. High protein, moderate carb, low fat. I can do that chit in my sleep. MY issue has always been getting hit upside the head with emotions that I haven't allowed to emerge naturally. So, maybe I need a bin for "Today's Stressors" LOL Today's Stressors/Potential Stressors/Imagined Stressors: 1. My mother's birthday was yesterday. We're not in contact. I noted it but didn't take time to process it. Not a good idea for this gurl. 2. Court is scary. The possible financial ramifications for Pat and I are scary given that Nano was on our policy. Court went well. Couldn't eat beforehand (too anxious). We went to breakfast afterwards and I ordered oatmeal and eggwhites w/salsa (one of my favorite BFFM meals).
Going to do a workout and then grab some lunch before heading out to the DMV hearing... |

Weekend wasn't very "cleanly" BFFM. But I did work out every day so it's all good.
Tomorrow I'll be back to my clean eats! ![]() Lady B! Gurl, I watched a movie (Freedomland) with Pat today while rocking a 40-minute cardio session on the gazelle and lateral thigh trainer. Then, I did some of my "own" LB, TBM and Callanetics moves. I did those 100-series pretzel moves but incorporated Burr's stretches in-between. It helped but my butt is STILL sore!!!
